TOB is probably the third best coach State has ever had behind Earle Edwards and Sheridan.I really don't get the hate. You people act like we should be winning ACC titles and going to BCS bowls.
9/9/2012 12:56:18 AM
winning the ACC once in my lifetime would be nice
9/9/2012 1:03:08 AM
scoring more than 10 points and giving up less than 6 sacks against pissant UCONN would be nice
9/9/2012 1:15:52 AM
a team coming out flat in a road game following a deflating loss in a hyped season opener?this is surely a first in college football
9/9/2012 1:21:21 AM
Lol dude said 2009
9/9/2012 2:19:48 AM
At least Amato football was fun to watch.
9/9/2012 2:23:47 AM
^Counting all those flags/3 and outs was exciting. Jay Davis years really got my blood pumping.

TOB will never survive cutting Russell Wilson. He and mike glennon simply have too much blood on their hands. It's really sickening how much glennon has been babied for five years and he still can't play. It all started against SC when TOB kept benching Wilson during the middle of a scoreless game so glennon could throw incompletions. Now three years later a coach who is famous for being no nonsense and cut an all American out of sheer butthurt is crying to the media about how windy it was?Give me a break. Im ready for the TOB and Glennon era to end. OUT DAMNED SPOT. Too bad they never read Macbeth. You can't wash your hands clean with all that blood. You guys are cursed to suck, sorry. Also , new team rule. From now on quarterbacks are not allowed to pledge a fraternity. We will call this rule the Glennon. We've seen what it does to a guy who was ranked next to Andrew luck coming out of high school [Edited on September 9, 2012 at 4:09 AM. Reason : aa]
9/9/2012 3:41:06 AM
Last year Glennon had 31 TDs, 12 interceptions, 62.5% completed, 3,054 yards, 136.4 rating, and we're only 2 games into this season. In 2010, Wilson had 28 TDs, 14 interceptions, 58.4% completed, 3,563 yard, 127.5 rating.Just for perspective to to show just how much Glennon "can't play".
9/9/2012 10:25:51 AM
^^ nonsense
9/9/2012 10:31:46 AM
^^^^my point is you quoted 1 year and that was 3 years ago. Outside of donald bown they havent done shit offensively
9/9/2012 11:30:55 AM
If you read face's posts without any prior knowledge you would think Glennon and TOB actually murdered RW rather than just telling him he would have to earn the starting spot when he came back. Thrilling.

9/9/2012 3:36:07 PM
i thought he benched him that game because he got knocked the fuck out?
9/9/2012 3:37:05 PM
TOB had him strapped to that stretcher and carried off the field for looks.
9/9/2012 3:44:14 PM
Yeah I really don't remember but I'm pretty sure Wilson came out of the game for a little bit after taking a hard hit.^Nah, that was the year prior. @ South Carolina. We lost 34-0 or something.[Edited on September 9, 2012 at 3:44 PM. Reason : d]

Why do you idiots reply to face's weak ass trolling? Just can't help yourselves huh? MUST PROVE TROLL WRONG SO I WIN AT INTERNET!!!
9/9/2012 3:45:11 PM
Face is actually the voice of reason in this thread and he is not talking about the injury. Wilson got benched when the game was scoreless.

yeah it's funny how both herb and TOB have turned out exactly like you'd expect from the fanbases they were leaving.

^^BC has fallen to complete shit now that his players are all gone. They may not admit it, but they will never do any better than TOB.We're a much better football team that when TOB started. Night and day. We are a good football team that no one in the ACC can overlook (see Clempson last year). And we've beat UNC 5 years in a row - so I'm ok with being good. When TOB retires, bring in Nick Saban.
9/10/2012 1:51:45 PM
don;t you mean "Mick Sagan"?

Yeah, I remeber being at Amato's last game - devistating loss at home to ECU. There wasn't a single game that year that was fun to watch.Inches...Fannies...
9/10/2012 9:25:05 PM
ice
9/10/2012 9:44:04 PM
^^I was at that game too. Specifically remember a false start where Tank Tyler came across the line after the whistles, ran 5 yards to the qb and threw him down.

god, that ecu game was easily the most miserable time i spent in carter finley in my six years of every-game attendance.and i caught a miserable six years, let me tell you.
9/10/2012 10:39:13 PM
the akron game was such bullshit before even accounting for the non-qualifiers
9/10/2012 10:41:20 PM
^No kidding. Still pissed they didn't even review the last play. Fucker was more down than TA in Chapel Hill.

^ahahaha at the end of that video Amato compares Daniel Evans to Philip Rivers. Such an awesome play, though.[Edited on September 11, 2012 at 11:09 AM. Reason : ICE!]
9/11/2012 10:56:24 AM
without even watching the video I can remember, "I don't wanna do it, but he reminded me of Philip Rivers out there tonight"
9/11/2012 11:09:50 AM
I like the announcer saying "What an incredible under-throw by Evans"
9/11/2012 11:25:51 AM
9/11/2012 6:19:49 PM
My first year at State was the first team post-Rivers.I got to see Jay Davis, Marcus Stone, Daniel Evans, and the beginning of Russell Wilson. The worst memory I have was everyone so pumped we were going to make a bowl game, all we had to do was beat Maryland, and then we got shut out at home in what I remember as the coldest experience I had in Carter-Finley.[Edited on September 13, 2012 at 5:22 PM.
