^Go with VY - Ryan's out, Manning is not 100%, Orton will throw picks vs indyPick 1BurlesonStewartC. BrownA. ByantJulius Jonesalso Farve or A. Smith
12/13/2009 12:21:54 PM
Farve hands downArizona killed SF last time they played them and their defense has stepped up in the last few weeksI would prob go Burleson because Houston will put up some points against SEA and Hasselbeck will have to throwI am having the hardest time deciding on my RBs this weekPeterson vs CIN (#1 rush defense in yards per game allowed)Thomas Jones vs TBMJD vs MIAJ. Charles vs BUF (worst rush defense in the league)[Edited on December 13, 2009 at 12:32 PM. Reason : start 2]
12/13/2009 12:32:11 PM
It's really hard to sit Peterson because you're gonna be pissed if you get burned, but I think MJD and Thomas Jones are going to have the best weeks points wise.
12/13/2009 12:40:01 PM
^Thanks for the helpPeterson and MJD. They have way too much potenial to go off to bench them. If you don't like that I'll rank um for you:PetersonMJDTJCharlesAnyway you play it though you should have a good week.
12/13/2009 12:42:14 PM
that's what i am thinking as welli just HATE sitting APTom Brady could burn me this week because of his injuriesEli is my backup but is playin in bad weather[Edited on December 13, 2009 at 12:44 PM. Reason : should i risk Brady?]
12/13/2009 12:42:38 PM
Eli is playing the eagles- a team that has worked him the last 4 times they have metI wouldn't do it unless you needed toBrady is always "hurt" - while he has a little more going on, I still think he'll have 200+ and 2+ td's
12/13/2009 12:46:42 PM
mike bell is inactive this week for P. Thomas owners
12/13/2009 12:47:11 PM

12/13/2009 1:48:40 PM
man, i love having Dallas Clark
12/13/2009 2:01:51 PM
how do they sort out the fantasy points for a hook-and-lateral
12/13/2009 2:36:49 PM
Wow I started J Stewart over Bush...My opponent has Andre, Brees, and Jay fucking Feely. 10-3 first place losing to 2-11 last 8th place.
12/13/2009 3:40:44 PM
started A. Johnson and B. Marshall, I am cleaning up this week. still got the CJ show at 4

20/20 hindsight says bad choices today, and bad "ochocinco or d-jackson" 'expert' advice
12/13/2009 10:58:53 PM
i'm playing jackson in one league and playing against him in another
12/13/2009 11:00:54 PM
im down 10.5 right nowhe has Tynes playing and I have Vernon Davis tomorrow night... so i still have a legitimate chance

12/13/2009 11:04:28 PM
yahoo advice is terrible. just go with the sit start poll or starting percentage. yahoo advice has cost me at least 1 game this season.
12/13/2009 11:05:51 PM
^^^ That's incorrect. After the lateral, it's treated as a "fumble", and the 2nd WR only get's points if they score after the pitch.(or, at least that's the way it's always been for me in all of my leagues, and I play roughly 5 per year.)[Edited on December 13, 2009 at 11:08 PM. Reason : asdf]

i dont use "yahoo advice"
12/13/2009 11:10:31 PM
You just wrote that. cuz it never happens that way.You tellin' me that if Cal/Stanford had been an NFL Game, they would have given all of those players points? It may be what your write up says, but i'm telling you, it doesnt happen that way.In another example, does your league give an offensive player points if he recovers a fumble (for his own team) and runs it 10 yards?
12/13/2009 11:13:35 PM
well since it happened today in the panthers game, how did they score it
12/13/2009 11:14:18 PM
He had the 41 yard TD catch and got probably about 30 on that lateral, so he had one other catch for about 12 yards2 catches, 83 yards
12/13/2009 11:19:36 PM
i cant remember who caught the actual passwas gonna ask if it was a scrub, but statistically, they are all scrubs this year
12/13/2009 11:20:50 PM
Melvin Campbell caught it

thanks for securing me a playoff spot Marshall, Johnson, and Johnson
12/14/2009 9:16:01 AM
maclin's bitch ass cost me a playoff spot epic choke
12/14/2009 10:14:26 AM
fuckin desean jackson just knocked me out of the 1st round of the playoffs after being a #1 seed all year. dammitttt
12/14/2009 4:10:09 PM
My gf's team who squeaked into the playoffs by winning her last 4 was playing a team who had Ryan in as their qb (they had campbell on the bench and didn't get them switched in time). Our league is QB heavy (1 pt/10 yards, 6 pts a td) so that was a major blow for the team. She still got blown out by 40 thanks to Brandon Marshall, Jamaal Charles and Chris Johnson. Best part is I get to play that team next week. Sigh.
12/14/2009 10:05:01 PM
I'm just happy I won our regular season outright at 11-3. I'd rather win that than the playoffs (even though thatd be nice too). Because, as you all know, single games can get pretty wacky. An example: guy who is in dead last place in our league destroyed the #2 guy this week. He scored the most points anyone has scored in a game in our league this year putting up 165 pts. (I had the previous high at 147) while the #2 team only put up 89.Plus it looks like the #8 seed I'll be playing first round is the team that handed me 2 of my 3 losses even though he is like 5-9 or something, so I'm not looking forward to that [Edited on December 14, 2009 at 10:20 PM. I'm glad I'm up by 60 this week or else Warner would be fucking me.

fitzgerald is killing me, now looks like it might be even worse!at least boldin isnt doing anything either.
12/14/2009 10:37:07 PM
if only vernon davis could get 18 more yds
12/14/2009 11:06:00 PM
ohhhh u must be shitting medavis caught a pass for 1 yard less than i needed to tie it up
12/14/2009 11:40:03 PM
man espn better give boldin credit for that lost fumble

Can I get some opinions on some waiver wire pickups this week:1. The RB situation in Houston (Moat/Brown/Foster)2. The RB situation in Cleveland (Harrison/Jennings)3. Is Burleson officially out with a high ankle sprain?4. The RB situation in Philly (McCoy/ Weaver/Buckley)5. Is Bowe going to be back in the starting lineup after his suspension? Thanks for the inputbtw Maclin is out for 3 weeks
12/15/2009 4:48:16 PM
too many questions^^ but.. i wouldn't trust any eagle's back. they share a lot of carries; same thing with houston's running back situation. everywhere I've read they've said that Jennings in Cleveland is a good pickup, so I'm considering him too. On that note, what about this waiver wire decision:Houston Texans vs. RamsChris Jennings vs. Chiefs (and then the Raiders)
12/15/2009 5:16:17 PM
thoughts on romo and austin this week vs the saints? i keep looking for a reason to bench romo (even though i've got flacco on my bench ). should i just dance with the date that brung me?
12/15/2009 5:18:53 PM
you cant sit Romo over Flacco. Romo has been doing well and the game should be a shootout. Austin would be a good choice as well.
12/15/2009 5:53:48 PM
I'd go with Romo over Flacco but there's gotta be a better option for you.Week 15:SJackson vs HOU or RWilliams @ TEN?ARZ @ DetorPITT @ GBSEA against TB and HOU against STL are available..[Edited on December 15, 2009 at 5:55 PM. Reason : w]

Arizona against Detroit. How could that not be your obvious pick? The offense had 7 turnovers this week and they still didn't get totally destroyed by San Francisco. That's a very good defense, especially against bad teams. All of the SF points came off turnovers. You have to figure that the same thing won't happen against Detroit. Combine that with the fact that Culpepper is playing unless Stafford shows up, and if he does, he's a rookie who is hurt. Great combination for interceptions.Jackson is hurt pretty bad. The team said that because of his herniated disc, he probably won't practice at all for the rest of the year. He won't play in games all the way through unless they are close, which is why they took him out at the end last week. How you could even think of playing him over Ricky Williams is crazy to me. Williams is on ateam that is fighting for the playoffs, so you know there's no way they will ease up at all, and he's fresher than most backs because he was splitting time with Ronnie Brown most of the year. Now he gets all the carries, and even some of the Wildcat stuff. I understand Tennessee isn't bad against the run, but Jackson has only found paydirt 4 times this year, and only then when he was healthier. Last week in his weakened condition, he only managed 47 yards. Williams has 5 TDs in his last four games, and every game this year where he's had over 20 carries, he's ended up with 100 yards+.Just my thought on the matter.

good explanation^^what about this one for defense:Texans vs. Rams (giving TONS of points to opposing teams here recently)Jets vs. Falcons (Matt Ryan still not playing)

Texans by far with SJax injured/possibly out....and the Rams are playing the third string QB[Edited on December 16, 2009 at 5:04 PM. Reason : a]
