That last post made me remember Lacey and I got sad That could have been a fun season with him and Cat
10/6/2016 9:34:01 AM
Terry probably never gets injured if Lacey stays too
10/6/2016 10:05:21 AM
I bet Dennis Smith wouldn't have torn his ACL if Lacey had stayed.
10/6/2016 12:24:16 PM
Had Lacey stayed they probably would have let TJ Warren come back for another year too.
10/6/2016 1:17:17 PM
Dennis Horner probably never gets that flaming basketball tattoo if Lacy stays.
10/6/2016 2:10:05 PM
Yep but if he stayed we probably wouldn't have won the NC in '83...
10/6/2016 2:12:53 PM
David Thompson would have never been born if Lacey stayed.
10/6/2016 2:34:50 PM
on the other hand, Lacey left and now Prince and Bowie are dead.....
10/6/2016 2:49:26 PM
tower was obviously talking about Ralston Turner
10/6/2016 2:59:21 PM
It's goddamn ridiculous that the NCAA can't give an answer to whether or not Yurt (and many other players across the country) is cleared prior to start of practices.
10/11/2016 9:31:27 AM
I imagine an investigation revolving around international entities and money makes for a pretty hard investigation to pull any useful data, esp when you're not a legal body. I imagine they won't be able to prove much either way based on lack of evidence and they'll just slap him with 5-10 games just to make themselves feel better about the situation.
10/11/2016 10:45:55 AM
plus, iirc he is allowed to practice, right?
10/11/2016 4:54:20 PM
Yes. He can practice all he wants
10/11/2016 9:48:31 PM
Damn am I too late for the Lacey stayed jokes? If Lacey stayed, they would've guarded us too, palIf Lacey stayed, Piccolo girl would still be cryingIf Lacey stayed, men would be able to use the women's restroom
10/11/2016 10:07:39 PM
If Lacey had stayed, what critics? If Lacey had stayed, fannies.
10/12/2016 8:21:01 AM
If Lacey had stayed we'd already have flying cars and a moon base. If Lacey had stayed GRRM would have finished ASOIAF before GoT passed the books. If Lacey had stayed Bill Cowher would have come back to lead the football team to multiple Nattys.
10/12/2016 10:37:51 AM
charles o'bannon jr and nicholas claxton will be on campus this weekend taking their officials. thomas allen will also be back on campus. claxton is supposed to announce nov. 14, fwiw.i'd imagine we'll have a few other unofficial visitors as well.
10/21/2016 4:00:47 PM
Zion Williamson here tonight too. Huge!
10/21/2016 4:15:40 PM
colin sexton is gonna announce 11/10. he's down to State, GT, Kansas, and Alabama. he's the #7 recruit by Rivals. i think Kansas seems like the leader, but we'll see.
10/27/2016 3:54:31 PM
10/27/2016 5:14:07 PM
^^247 predictions pretty strong for Bama. Either way, all the same to us in guess.
10/27/2016 5:32:17 PM
Yeah it's looking like Alabama, they have another highly ranked PG committing the same day as Sexton that is a huge Bama lean, so sounds like it's setting up for a huge day for them with 2 premiere players committing. O'Bannon is the next big recruit for us I think that is committing in the next month that we have a shot at.
10/28/2016 8:36:23 AM
^gotcha.Yeah O'Bannon is announcing soon, I thought...but I'm not sure if that's anything official or just speculation that he's gonna announce sooner rather than later. sounds like O'Bannon's dad probably prefers State since he has connections with Gottfried. and that would seem to bode well for us.
10/28/2016 10:21:18 AM
Since it got buried in the b-ball threadhttp://www.scout.com/college/north-carolina-state/story/1726190-update-allen-makes-it-official
11/9/2016 5:16:53 PM
Nice!!
11/9/2016 6:42:54 PM
Welcome to the pack. Gott is rolling now.
11/9/2016 9:35:55 PM
Collin Sexton picked Alabama. LOL enjoy playing in front of 8,000 people who would walk the other way from you on the street.
11/10/2016 7:28:34 PM
lol
11/10/2016 7:38:44 PM
because north carolina is such a welcoming place for minorities
11/10/2016 8:02:46 PM
What is that supposed to mean?
11/10/2016 8:40:35 PM
11/10/2016 8:50:26 PM
Claxton to announce Monday. Mayan Kirr will also announce Monday. We're not a lock for either, but I think we've got a good shot at both these guys
11/11/2016 11:59:38 AM
^neither picked State START PANICKING
11/14/2016 4:36:24 PM
i saw Claxton picked UGa...hadn't seen anything about Kirr yet. oh well
11/14/2016 4:39:16 PM
VCU
11/14/2016 5:00:07 PM
I hate to be that guy..but neither one of those prospects had me excited.
11/15/2016 10:03:11 AM
Kiir wanted immediate PT = wasn't happening here. We got Allen, I'm fine with missing on Claxton. Will be interesting to see what holes Gott has to fill at the end of the season. We're still in the top 5 for Bowen and O'Bannon, but I don't think we're leading for either.
11/15/2016 1:14:43 PM
Why does getting Allen make you ok not getting Claxton?
11/15/2016 1:43:49 PM
I'm guessing he might have done the same thing as me and googled it.. without knowing his first name the first thing that pops up is an espn kevin claxton who is a 6'2 guard, not the 6'9 SF
11/15/2016 1:52:29 PM
Nicholas Claxton is the guy we were going after.
11/15/2016 2:51:38 PM
True, thought he was a 2/3, not a 4. With that in mind, given our current scholarship situation with bigs right now for next year looks like: Abu, Yurtseven, Freeman, Kapita, and Hicks...neither were "must-gets" for us. I understand 2 of those 5 will likely be gone, but not a guarantee. Think we can be picky when taking bigs for next year at this point, and neither of Kirr or Claxton seemed like can't-miss prospects.
11/15/2016 3:01:17 PM
getting Hicks and Kapita was very big for next year. even assuming Abu and Yurt7 are gone, we will still have 3 big men with experience...and we will probably still look to add at least one more but you're right. we can somewhat afford to be picky.
11/15/2016 3:25:44 PM
We still need bigs. I have my doubts as to whether Freeman will ever play again.
11/15/2016 3:51:19 PM
Refresh me. Freeman had surgery before last season when he had the rod put in his leg, right? And he played last season, although it was obvious that he wasn't at full strength. Isn't he going to redshirt this season to heal some more? Or did he have another surgery?
11/15/2016 4:09:25 PM
I don't recall if he had another surgery, but he is def redshirting Maybe Anya can get a medical redshirt
11/15/2016 4:28:40 PM
I'm not questioning if he's redshirting, i'm just questioning if anything else has happened since last season when he played.
11/15/2016 4:51:39 PM
yeah did have another surgery this offseason. same injury as before.
11/15/2016 6:09:38 PM
11/15/2016 6:28:48 PM
He has a stress fracture. They put a big steel rod in his leg. He had another stress fracture. It's going to keep recurring.
