Up 35, but that won't be enough. Opponent has brees, sproles, and lance moore left. I only have golden boot. What an asshole - Kahlil Bell fumbles out of 1st and goal from the 1 and someone else gets the TD[Edited on December 25, 2011 at 10:09 PM. Reason : .]

Ha, I'm playing someone with Bell so that was a welcome fumble.Dammit Rodgers. I'm playing against him too.]
12/25/2011 10:13:14 PM
my condolences

I am too. I was up 94-54 going into tonight. It's a lot closer now.My wife is in her championship in another league, and she has Rodgers. Two very different reactions to watching this game.
12/25/2011 10:48:26 PM
GD, punch that ball in. Fuck a pass.
12/25/2011 10:54:26 PM
Welp, got fucked by drew brees on that last score. Other guy had sproles, brees. Otherwise would have won after the Brees kneel downs.
12/26/2011 11:58:37 PM
^ Me too. I'll be playing for 3rd instead of the championship in that league. Won 3rd in another league, and will be playing for the championship in another.

Offering to spot your opponent 10 points in the Championship game...douchebag move or good setup for epic shit talking afterward?
12/27/2011 1:53:27 AM
There are no douchebag moves in fantasy football
12/27/2011 1:54:47 AM
I finished 10 out of 10 in one league (9th in the regular season)...my team wasn't that bad, but injuries to Fred Jackson and AP did me in. I also never had a solid WR3 on my roster. I went back and forth all year between Mike Williams and Michael Crabtree. I finished 3rd out of 12 in another league (5th in regular season). And in another league my championship is this week (which I am not a fan of, I'd prefer the championship to be in week 16). I finished the season in 8th (of 12) and somehow made it to the championship. Too bad this isn't a money league, haha./personal war story.

Optimal Draft Values using total points in 2011:[Edited on December 27, 2011 at 6:15 PM. Reason : smaller]
12/27/2011 6:13:36 PM
Won 4 leagues, lost in the final by 6 in the 5th.I'm thinking maybe I take next year off...give everyone else a chance to catch up.
12/27/2011 7:00:28 PM
Won my league by 11 due to Brees' 4 TDs. Was down 12 going into last night's game with Brees to go (he had Roddy White). My other league is a 2-week championship game, so that won't be decided until next week, but I'm up 31.
12/27/2011 7:04:23 PM
^^^ how are u calculating that
12/27/2011 8:03:27 PM
Championship Winning Lineup:QB: StaffordWR: J. NelsonWR: ColstonRB: RiceRB: Jones-DrewTE: Gronkowskiflex: GrahamK: JanikowskiDST: DallasBackups: Romo, F. Gore, V. Jackson, AJ Green THAT's how you win a championship, bitches. Boo-yah!

^Thousands of simulations of random bids for each position, with higher bids going to better players in position. Then averaging bids from simulations with a low range (max-min) of scores among the owners. Because if the range is high, then somebody got an advantage, which can't happen in an optimal solution with perfect knowledge.

Have a decent number of keeper-worthy players on my team, so looking to couple some together to get some elite-level guysGuys I will be keeping are QB Brees, RB Rice, RB Forte. League has vanilla lineups & scoringWas thinking of offering DeMarco Murray & a WR (Welker, Wallace, Cruz, or Nelson) for a guy like McCoy. Thoughts on which WR to include? The guy with McCoy has a bad team with Best as his only other RB close to keeper level & his WRs are Demaryius Thomas, Heyward-Bey, Decker & Gaffney[Edited on December 28, 2011 at 8:34 PM. Reason : also, 6 keepers per team in this league]
12/28/2011 8:25:43 PM
^All those WR's are about the same. You might as well trade 2, right? You can only keep 6 players total.

12/28/2011 10:29:28 PM
^^ How are you drawing that graph? R?Next step is to factor in number of games played so you can show who to pick up next year.[Edited on December 28, 2011 at 10:37 PM. Reason : ..]
12/28/2011 10:32:32 PM
^^Wow, that's a lot of dealing. I would just keep what I had.^SAS. Yeah, I could use average values or use next year's projections when they're available. Ultimately it's more of a hypothetical/hindsight guideline and you should still just draft who you think are the best players and the best values.

CJ Spiller and Toby Gerhart are going to lead me to the championship this week.

Back-to-Back Champion in my work (money) league! w00t!#2 in my 14-person league. (in championship game but no way I'm gonna win)#2,#5,#7 in my other 10-person leagues. [Edited on December 29, 2011 at 10:58 AM. Reason : .]
12/29/2011 10:57:52 AM
in the championship game in all four of my leagues this year.... 1-2 so far with championship #4 this weekend.
12/29/2011 1:29:53 PM
Two 3rd place finishes and one 2nd place. Not bad.
1/1/2012 5:08:28 PM
Calvin Johnson, Gronk and Turner alone are beating my opponent in the championship. Throw in David Akers (tossed a td pass, lol) and the rest of my team and i am up 157-86 in a week where Cam did nothing for me. We both have one player left and two going now. I think I won.
1/1/2012 5:36:59 PM
Recommendations on who to pick in my playoff league...Fill a roster each week (1 QB, 3WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, K and D), where no player can be used twice. So ideally, you want to pick players that will have big days, but lose...But it doesn't always work out that way.Just off the top of my head, I'm thinking of going:QB - StaffordWRs - C. Johnson, Cruz, A. JohnsonRBs - Tate, McgaheeTE - GrahamK - SuishamDef - PittWhat say you tdub?
1/5/2012 11:15:39 AM
No Arian Foster?
1/5/2012 11:39:54 AM
1/5/2012 11:41:13 AM
^^My thinking is take a chance that Hou will win so I can use foster later, and Tate had a good game against cin a few weeks ago...But that could be flawed, which is why I need opinions.
