I'll commit to Arsenal if Tevez leaves the EPL.

it's an appropriate welcome for ol Roy's arrival
2/12/2011 11:51:36 AM
i took a risk picking up Boaz Myhill for my fantasy goalie this week because they play West Ham and Wolves. when they were up 3-0 i was looking good, now, not so much.
2/12/2011 11:53:46 AM
Stupid Stoke. Clean sheet for Begovic and Shawcross lost in extra time.

Ribs, how does it feel to support a club that wears Carolina blue?
2/12/2011 12:34:57 PM
What kind of question is that ?The same as it does for a Carolina fan to support a team that wears red maybe?FUCKING GYAN. I HATE THAT GUY. He conveniently strikes when Gallas is on the sideline
2/12/2011 12:48:29 PM
lol, I love Gyanin spite of his goal against the US

That just feels like stealing considering the quality of the opponent and the XI that were fielded today. I figured they would be looking ahead to Tuesday and was just hoping for a draw in this fixture. NIKO with back to back winners He's earned the right to be in the mix from now on.
2/12/2011 2:29:16 PM
yeah honestly I cant believe no one bought him during the window. he's a class player and an absolute steal for the price they wanted for him
2/12/2011 2:57:17 PM
With the intention of breaking up this "look at me, my team is in the top half of the table" party, allow me to start the pity party:We're fucked.Saha, the most "in form" striker in the Premiere League, and seemingly only glimmer of hope in salvaging this shitty season, hammered his hammy.Good thing we've sold Pienaar and everyone is going to want Fellaini this summer, who will undoubtedly want to leave.FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUIs there anyone else in this thread that doesn't suck big four penis (nor Spurs + City) who can relate to my despair?
2/12/2011 9:41:51 PM
^ I can understand, I support Arsenal but generally just enjoy the league and truly dislike only a couple clubs. Everton is a solid club, great history...I would hate to see them get relegated. I still think despite their struggles this year, you have Wolves and West Ham doing all they can to stay at the bottom (despite WHU's come back to draw today). WBA and Blackpool are having a rough spell right now as well and having not been up a full season yet could have a collapse at the end of the season to fall far enough to get relegated. If Blackpool manage to stay up, Adam is as good as gone next season so they have their work cut out for them to buy enough talent in the summer to stay up next year.Tim Cahill will be back soon (tomorrow?) and could make a big difference. This summer they should hopefully have some funds to pick up a few decent players to fill the gaps and compete better next year.
2/12/2011 11:20:50 PM
i like aston villa, my team has sucked ass all season for no apparent reason. aside from martin oneill leaving, all the players are there.
2/13/2011 12:16:09 AM
Milner
2/13/2011 5:51:14 AM
MO leaving screwed Villa big time. He is a top class manager and Randy Lerner made a massive mistake by letting him go.
2/13/2011 9:51:49 AM
I pretty much agree with that. But Milner was their best, most consistent player (after Brad Friedel) and losing the MVP off of your team is never going to bode well for you. I don't think Stephen Ireland is a bad player, but his form took a nosedive after how City handled him.
2/13/2011 10:28:13 AM
yeah, I mean the whole ownership relationship seems to be geared towards not a top 4 push, but just consistency in the EPL. Martin O'Neill is the type of manager who pushes for the top and has intents to build a lasting program - so there seemed to be a huge disconnect in terms of team goals.Honestly I guess it came down to fiscal viability - you have to win games to make big money, and you need big money to buy big players to keep winning those big games. With an owner selling players out from under you left and right, and then not re-investing that money in the squad, something had to give.
2/13/2011 12:14:09 PM
Ian Holloway and Harry Redknapp get it. You're never going to be a top team if you can't keep your best players.
2/13/2011 12:53:56 PM
I guess today's result didn't help Everton's cause either...Gotta say that Sturridge rip for the second goal was very nice
2/13/2011 12:57:05 PM
I concur.
2/13/2011 12:59:03 PM
Exciting to see that Ancelotti is going to start rotating the defence, maybe the front 3 can make an impact this game
2/14/2011 9:41:40 AM
Go CottagersLooking ahead, Spurs next four vs Blackpool, Wolves, West Ham, and Wigan along with a game in hand on Citeh should be good enough to get us into 3rd. I'd like to not have to wait until May and sweat a Champion's League spot if at all possible.[Edited on February 14, 2011 at 10:50 AM. Reason : .]
