Harris teeter is pretty awesome. I've been able to use e-vic coupons in addition to regular coupons for incredible savings lately. I have had issues with a few e-vic coupons failing to take off though, but customer service is always fantastic in rectifying the error efficiently.[Edited on May 24, 2011 at 9:38 PM. Reason : .]

my husband is a district manager for a gas station company. One of the distributors saw him eying coupons for me. He gave him 0.50 off any 2 2-L sodas. (it was a miller lite coupon, the same guy gave him $2 off any $10 purchase in March )HT brand soda was .87 so I got a whole bunch for 12 cents a 2-L I got some Tide Single loads with the 0.35/1 any tide coupon. (every time I went I got the max so I have like 15 or 21 single load packets )I got the FRS single cans .55/1 peelieI got zone barsI got the budding turkey .55/1 peelieSo all in all...I did better than I though last week. I will probably donate my Tide since I did that big Wisk deal at Walmart 2 weeks ago (hang tags......$2 off any Wisk, at the time they had promotional 12 load bottles for 0.97. Walmart also gives overage )My mom got the several June P&Gs today and it doesn't look as good as this months. She ran into a newspaper guy that had more inserts than papers and he gave her 100

Anyone have a good coupon app for Android? As in, open it, search for a coupon, get said coupon, and show it to the cashier? I've tried "The Coupon App" or w/e (really popular one) but it only shows online deals from what I've seen, unless I'm having a real herp derp mode whenever I open it.

Quick update on a few deals I found.Food Lion by my place(Falls River) has $1/2 coupons on 2 liter pepsi products(Coupons stuck to the bottles). They are already on sale for a dollar each, so 2 liters are 50 cents each. I am a sodaholic, so I loaded upToday only, HT has a couple of slick e-vic specials. Original Chips Ahoy 15oz packs are 99 cents. There were none left on the snack aisle, but plenty by the dairy section in displays. Also the Birdseye steamfresh frozen veggie sides are bogo at HT. We really like them, and they are already pretty cheap. This coupon:http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?bt=wi&tqnm=ydekcxr8900583&o=85465&c=BE&p=GXYz59Iadoubles to make it 70 cents off each one you buy. I think they ended up being around 50 cents each after vic/coupon.[Edited on May 28, 2011 at 2:45 PM. Reason : njnjn]

stores double up to99 cents. Do you get 1.98 on 1.00 coupons?
5/29/2011 2:55:14 PM
^ No Also, what coupon book organizer do you all use? They all seem to be expensive and figured I could buy a generic school 1.5" zipper/binder and use 9 pocket trading card binder sleaves for coupon organizing.http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Pro-9-Pocket-Trading-Pages/dp/B00095M5DQ.[Edited on May 29, 2011 at 9:23 PM. I use a mini-expanding file--I think it has like twelve or so pockets that I've assigned different categories to. Sometimes, when I clip a lot of the same inserts and printed a lot, I've packed it to where it won't close. So I put a category into a separate baggie for a while.I think the baseball card holders can turn into a crutch for some people. Through couponing, you will hyperdevelop basic mental skills to the point that you do most of the organizing and calculating in your head.

I finally signed up for SavingStar.com which lets you add electronic coupons to your shopping cards but instead of taking it off at the register, it places the amount in our SavingStar account which can be redeemed for gift cards, money into your bank account etc once you reach $5I signed up for it the other day and added all the coupons and then I realized that a lot of the coupons match up with HT sales this week. Best part is that you can pair it w/ VIC sales and E-Vic coupons. Here is what I did today at HT:1 Glad Tall Kitchen Bag 78 ct- on sale for $4.99 (e-vic sale). Used $.75/1 insert coupon and a $.75/1 SavingStar coupon1 Diamond Crystal Sea Salt. BOGO free. $.99 for 1. Had $1/1 e-vic coupon and $.35/1 SavingStar coupon2 Ritz Crackerfuls. On sale $2.99/box. Had a BOGO e-vic coupon (took off regular price of $3.99). Had 2 $1/1 tearpad coupons.1 Wisk Detergent. On sale for $3.47 (e-vic sale). Used $2/1 insert coupon and $1/1 SavingStar coupon1 Snuggle Fabric Sheets. On sale $2.99. There are some good deals at HT this week w/ the P&G insert and the new E-VIC couponsNot sure if we all get the same E-VIC coupons but all of mine were for P&G products. Here is what matches up nicely w/ the P&G insertClairol Nice & Easy Color Blend Foam $6.99 (I think it should be $6.99. Express Lane doesn't show this product but other Nice and Easy products are $6.99). So if it is $6.99, you can load a $3 E-VIC coupon and the $3/1 P&G coupon. Should be $.99.Crest Mouthwash. $4.49. $2/1 E-VIC coupon and $2/1 P&G coupon. $.49Gillette Body Wash. $3.99. $2/1 E-VIC coupon and $2/1 P&G coupon (from 5/15 RedPlum). Food Lion has their Big Deals sale going on, which is a scavenger hunt where if you buy 10 items off of this sale list (all on sale too), you get $5 off your total...20 items gets $10, 30 items gets $15, the max you can get off on a shopping trip.I went yesterday and saved $61 and spent $124...HOWEVER, I got screwed out of an extra $5 in savings because I accidentally bought two boxes of cereal that were the wrong size. I thought I had 30 items, but the wrong size cereal (12 oz instead of 14 oz or something) didn't count for the sale event so I was 2 items short What's even worse is that the smaller boxes of cereal were actually $0.89 MORE than the big box, which was on sale for $3/box .

I might go Sunday if there is anything in the paper after they restock; however, there wasn't really anything here.Side note: The marcal coupon from Sunday ($1/1) is good on the 1.19 paper towels at Food Lion. The only problem it is one coupon/person.

Ok, another newbie to the couponing world. Quick question, when stores (such as the HT that I'm shopping at) say they'll double coupons up to $0.99, does that mean you have to bring a second identical coupon or do they just double it automatically when you hand them any coupon thats less than $1?I'm trying to wrap my head around all this since I don't think I've used a coupon in my life until recently.
7/20/2011 5:40:17 PM
you hand them any coupon that has a face value up to $.99 and the cash register doubles the value of the coupon.if it is super doubles, they double coupons with a face value up to $1.98. the trick here is that they only double up to $1.98 as well. so if its a $1.50 coupon, they'll "double" it but only up to the $1.98 limit.
7/20/2011 5:46:58 PM
7/20/2011 5:49:25 PM
^^ Is incorrect. At HT, if it is super doubles and you give them a coupon for $1.50. It will double to $3!
7/20/2011 7:27:34 PM
^Is correct.
7/20/2011 9:30:27 PM
After being out of town for a week, we have no food in our fridge. No milk, bread, juice etcGoing to go to Kroger tonight for their Mega Sale
7/21/2011 12:52:47 PM
^Man I just hammered that mega sale.....ended up with 17 dollars in overage for the necessities...FYI: one of the Wisps are on closeout for 1.09 but still is part of the mega. There were .75 peelies on them. So that is good for some money.I did the 2.50/2 reach coupons (buy a toothbrush and/or floss and/or flosser and/or......) Tooth brushes and flossers are $1 after mega and the floss I found ended up being 0.30 after mega.....so get 2.50 off 1.30.Ran into a couple of other good deals also....Brut deodorant is 10/$10 and there is a coupon for $1 off any Brut. I know I bought other coupon items, but I can't remember what I got off the top of my head.
7/22/2011 1:44:20 AM
New coupon site that uses loyalty cards (CVS, foodlion)savingstar.comYou load coupons on your loyalty cards, purchase (no immediate discount) then later choose payout options starting at like $5
7/22/2011 8:27:09 AM
^just be warned, it takes forever to get the money credited to your acctit says like w/in a week but last time I used them, it was like over 2 weeks before the money was credited to my acct
