http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=162437&hubname=nhlI'd love to see Staal v. Staal in the playoffs
4/13/2006 12:18:04 PM
could be cool.
4/13/2006 12:20:17 PM
I agree that home ice would help against ottowabut i think i would rather play the Habs, then the Tampa Bay right now
4/13/2006 12:30:15 PM
The Tampa matchup is far from perfect, but unlike Montreal, the Bolts have no goaltending. Come playoff time, the lockdown steps up quite a bit, and as I said before, I'm very concerned about having to face Huet with the way he's playing.
4/13/2006 1:21:12 PM
I dont think we will have problems with anyone besides Ottawa and Detroit if we can get healthty Right now we are in a get healthy and ready for the playoffs mode
4/13/2006 2:44:01 PM
i just hope atlanta doesnt sneak in
4/13/2006 3:46:21 PM
we arent gonna know our matchup.....7/8th seed will go down to the line
4/13/2006 5:46:37 PM
you need immigration paper to go from canada to the US?
4/13/2006 5:48:22 PM
You need a passport to cross the border now.Cristobal Huet needs like three of 'em.

4/13/2006 8:04:01 PM
^ i saw melrose say yesterday that he thinks the sens will be done early
4/13/2006 9:03:33 PM
habs clinched....but not that they wouldnt have, doubtful the top 8 will change by the end of the seasonsens lose. one pt behind them w/ a game in hand.[Edited on April 13, 2006 at 10:25 PM. Reason : gda234]
4/13/2006 10:00:44 PM
^they lost in OT, so we're actually 2 pts. behind them...but a win tomorrow night will put us back in 1st. Honestly, if Atlanta makes it in as the 8th seed (they're now behind TB by only 2 pts.), I'd rather be 2nd.[Edited on April 13, 2006 at 11:19 PM. Reason : .]
4/13/2006 11:19:17 PM

4/14/2006 10:25:23 AM
if that son of a bitch Adam Gold gets to touch the Cup then it needs to be boiled
4/14/2006 10:27:13 AM
why do people fear atlanta?
4/14/2006 10:56:15 AM
that was awesome. luckily, the division chief went with me (he's a season ticket holder), so everything was a-ok
4/14/2006 11:34:38 AM
people fear atlanta because of kovalchuk, hossa, bondra, and that one guy.....valid....theyre getting hot right now....
4/14/2006 11:46:35 AM
they are also dirty so even if they loose in the first round their opponent will be pretty beat up for round 2
4/14/2006 1:30:16 PM
start it off early, woot!Justin Williams, PP goal
4/14/2006 7:11:01 PM
Nice of them to let us complete a change while holding the puck right around their goal
4/14/2006 8:53:14 PM

4/14/2006 11:46:56 PM
lets all pretend gerber hasnt given up ~15 goals in the last 3 games
4/15/2006 1:22:39 AM
im predicting calgary in the finals....east???
4/15/2006 3:18:53 AM
correct me if i am wrong...if we take 2 pts tonight, and sens take 0 pts tonight, it means we clinch the east.....(we would have a 2 pt lead and both have one game left)that could be cool GO MAPLE LEAFS[Edited on April 15, 2006 at 2:44 PM. Reason : -]
4/15/2006 2:44:23 PM
That would be correct. With the Flyers beating the Rangers today, the Atlantic division is a 3 team race. The Rangers are still in first place, but the Flyers control their own destiny, and the Devils suddenly have a shot (Philadelphia and New Jersey play tomorrow).
4/15/2006 5:13:35 PM
well....the rangers only now have one game left...so id say its a 2 team race, realistically.[Edited on April 15, 2006 at 5:35 PM. Reason : -]

He never saw that one, it doesn't count.Soft or not, it doesn't matter. It doesn't change what I said. Goaltenders that use a mix of positioning and reflexes (Gerber, Roy, Turco) are prone to giving up soft goals. That combination is also what allows them to make saves that more strictly system-based goaltenders don't make.[Edited on April 15, 2006 at 5:59 PM. Reason : d]
