Not really an exotic but I saw a 991 Turbo S cabriolet yesterday on I-40. Brownish color. Was PCCB equipped as well. While it looks like just another 991, I have no doubt that car's sticker was right at, or slightly over, $200k.

^^^ I'm not sure if the guy works for BMW or what but besides the I8, he has an M6, 650i and a BMW SUV, I believe it's an X5, I've only seen that one a few times. Usually the M6 is parked in his spot, with the others on the street.

The few times I've seen him, it looked like he was in scrubs. So he may just be a Doctor that has a car for all the occasions.

Well if I had an i8, I would certainly try to make sure it gets as dirty as possible to hide how hideously over styled it was...

Also, I have mixed feelings on calling a 991 Turbo S an exotic. It’s like the not-exotic supercar/exotic lol. Also, I feel like if a 991 Turbo S is an exotic, my GT3 certainly should be as well, right? I have mixed feelings about that as well.

To me, exotic is not just numbers, but a mix of several factors, including numbers made. I did not realize there was some production quantity cutoff under which a car became exotic, or that any objective/standard definition of exotic existed

I saw some late model Bentley a couple weeks ago. This may not seem exotic to you, but it was in Rocky Mount, VA. The most exotic car here is a Hyundai.

That's a plain vanilla McLaren 650S (evolution of the MP4 -12C), not a P1.

Aint nobody working at SAS going to be afford a P1, except for the 5 or so people at the very top, and I doubt they are so crazy about cars to get a P1 LOL.

I drove past Panoz in GA on the way up to NC a week or two ago.

Yeah tons of Teslas around here. Took these pics two weekends ago when out downtown (drunk, of course). Nice AMG GT-S, think this was my second spotting of this particular one as well.





First time I saw this, it was driving past me down Hillsborough one night. Sounded good, though nowhere near as good as anything powered by the M159 engine. MB can talk all they want about how their new 4.0 liter TT V8 sounds good, but its not even worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as the M159.

(is the AMG GT rare/exotic? beats me, but they're definitely rare ATM).

No factory GT-R 4 doors and this one wasn't trying to look like one, I'm just not enough up on Skyline clues to be able to determine if it was a GTS-T, GT4, etc. Aftermarket wheels which I thought looked really good but unmolested otherwise.

^^Someone mentioned that outfit earlier in the thread, a few pages back when I posted that Cefiro. I scanned their sold listings; it's not an exact match for any of them but it's an "almost match" for several. The owner has put different rims on it as that style isn't in any of the listings, so he may have modified other components as well. Saw it again today at the same intersection (Boulevard & Broad), younger dude driving it, so I'm guessing he lives in the area.

Not sure if this qualifies but seemed like it is uncommon. Saw a lady driving around in N Raleigh in what appeared to be a G4 Land Rover LR3. It had all of the add-ons (roof rack, MT/R tires, snorkel, etc.) and had a G4 badge on it. It was silver instead of orange, though. Wasn't sure if someone took a standard one and added all of those themselves or if it was actually one prepared for the challenge.
