11/16/2009 11:20:24 AM

11/16/2009 11:23:19 AM

Just because I work with you doesn't mean:1. I care about you2. I want to be your friend3. We are friends4. You can ask me nosey questions5. You will get answers to your nosey questions6. I am in any way interested in hanging out with you after work^^ Fap fap fap? [Edited on November 16, 2009 at 11:28 AM. Reason : .]

Old people (35+) that constantly complain about the employer and whine about the possibility of getting laid off. It's like they think their entitled to a job right now. Just shut the fuck up and do your job.
11/17/2009 12:20:38 PM
^i have stopped complaining about my job (to my coworkers/boss anyways) because i'm afraid of getting booted for someone they can pay half as much and who won't complain
11/17/2009 12:24:26 PM
What's the point of complaining? It can only make you look worse. I mean, it's one thing to complain if something legitimately wrong is taking place. But, if you're just whining about things that no one has any control over, I don't how that's ever helpful.
11/17/2009 12:30:03 PM
I have often wondered the same thing. Even if it's something that impacts me or my tasks directly, I don't say anything to anyone until I have come up with a resolution.
11/17/2009 12:32:34 PM
It feels good to vent.
11/17/2009 12:38:34 PM
Yeah, I guess I should have said "vent" rather than "complain". My boss has always been more of a friend than a boss. He's my boss when he needs to be, but I've always been able to go to him and vent about anything. It's one of the things I love about my job. But I've stopped venting in the last few months. Mainly because I don't want him to get annoyed and tell me to quit my bitching and be grateful for my job.
11/17/2009 12:40:38 PM
^^Maybe it doesn't hurt outside of the workplace, sure. But honestly, if you're stressing and worrying about things you have no control over, you're killing yourself. All you can do is give your best effort and hope that things work out.
11/17/2009 12:46:11 PM
I don't get stressed or worried, but it's nice to vent during lunch.
11/17/2009 12:55:58 PM
we have free coffee at work, which is A Good Thing.problem is, there's this espresso machine, a full-sized manual one, and we only got one ONE cashier on duty, who has to stop what they're doind run the thing whenever someone wants an espresso drinknow, this machine is not maintained properly, and the cashiers generally don't know balls about making proper espresso.so why you motherfuckers got to be ordering espressos like its some goddamned privileged for you to hold up the line when i'm standing there trying to get my omelet rung up before the motherfucking thing gets cold?THE SHIT AINT EVEN MADE RIGHT ANYHOW. Y'ALL NEED TO DRINK THE GOTDAM FREE DRIP COFFEE LIKE EVERY OTHER PERSON IN HERE, ALLRIGHT? THEN YOU WON'T BE HOLDING UP THE LINE, NEITHER.......o wait, i thought this was teh "First World Problems" thread.
11/18/2009 1:08:04 AM
CAT. GET OFF MY FUCKING BACK. I MEAN SERIOUSLY. I CAN'T WRING YOU FROM THERE.
11/18/2009 7:47:15 AM
free doughnuts, mix it up people, i will not buy your products for shitty run of the mill doughnuts, i need raspberry jelly filled krispy kremes, then we can talk business, then you can take me out to lunch
11/18/2009 10:21:59 AM
Since we can't afford an office holiday party this year, we're having a potluck lunch At least it's during the day so I don't have to waste time after work with it.
11/18/2009 10:22:53 AM
on monday morning, i filled up my Blender Bottle (http://proteinfactory.com/shop/image.php?id=US16&type=S) with milk and brought it to work for my cereal. i put it in the fridge, and subsequently forgot to eat my cereal. i forgot yesterday too. so i just went in there to get my milk for some cereal and my milk is HALF GONE. seriously?! you milk-stealing asshole, seriously?!?!? i mean, it's one thing to mooch some milk or half and half out of a legitimate milk/half and half container. it's quite another thing to mooch milk out of someone's personal container. i know who you are. don't think i don't. and next time you're on night shift i'm gonna set you up with something really funky. ]
11/18/2009 10:25:31 AM
i have never worked for acompany that didnt have a nice dinner with an open bar
11/18/2009 10:25:38 AM
^^You should continue to bring the milk in the personal container like that and one day just bring in rotten milk and leave it in there. Of if you really wanna be evil, bring in milk but get someone to splooge in it.
11/18/2009 10:47:38 AM
hahahahah yeah cuz it isn't weird to ask my coworker to splooge in my milk to get back at another coworker and i think he'd smell the milk before using it. if it smelled rotten he wouldn't use it.
11/18/2009 10:48:36 AM
laxatives in the milk is the obvious answer here
11/18/2009 10:49:09 AM
do they have tasteless laxative powder? that's a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!
11/18/2009 10:49:32 AM
a stimulant laxative would work really well. something like exlax. you'd have to crush it up or something though.

Not being able to take a shit without 3820 people coming in there and doing all sorts of things like brush their teeth, gargle, apparently change clothes, and I believe I've heard someone jerking off in there at least once.
11/18/2009 2:46:12 PM
when i had my own apartment i kept it at bikini weather temps. i just like it that way i guesseveryone's different. that's why i get annoyed @ work is cuz everyone complains when it's one way or the other.
11/18/2009 2:46:35 PM

11/18/2009 3:39:11 PM
11/19/2009 9:13:35 AM
That's not cheap. Bring it to the attention of someone who matters (assuming they're not the culprit), and/or buy a $20 space heater and give it to the offending party.zones at work FTW. I'm uncomfortable maybe twice a year
11/19/2009 9:18:07 AM
half the office is on one thermostat and half the office is on another. the trading floor (where 95% of the people sit) is roasting right now. we have no control over it though, it's Highwood's Properties building. so i alerted our admin to call them and bitch.
