we're tied up now.
4/8/2006 1:21:40 PM
that reason being they've played 1 less game than the Canes. I understand that's a difficult concept though.
4/8/2006 1:21:47 PM
nm, i was looking at un-updated statsalso, why did someone say we have the tiebreaker with the sens?nhl.com says they are ranked higher[Edited on April 8, 2006 at 3:15 PM. Reason : 0]
4/8/2006 3:10:33 PM
you guys better hope not to get the habs in the first roundhopefully you guys can finish strong and get the #1 spot
4/8/2006 4:07:51 PM
^^because we have one more win than them.
4/8/2006 4:08:53 PM
then why isnt nhl.com ranking us as such?
4/8/2006 5:06:12 PM
canes r +110 tongiht agaisnt atlanta (that means have to bet 100 to win 110).. how much is a good bet 2night?
4/8/2006 6:17:31 PM
^^^wrong. Ottawa has the tiebreaker since they have the superior points percentage (same points in fewer games). Check out the bottom of http://www.nhl.com/standings/20052006/conference_standings.html for the tiebreakers.
4/8/2006 7:03:14 PM
^^ Don't be on your own team, it only leads to douchebaggery like your groundless bias against Aaron Ward.

4/8/2006 8:37:58 PM
Damn. If we get beat by damn ATL and Buffalo tops the Sens, then its possible we could be playing Buffalo at home the season finale to decide best record in the East....Of course the Sens would have to lose some more, but its possible...
4/8/2006 8:44:08 PM
4-2 buff
4/8/2006 8:58:37 PM
Blah. Coverage is non-existent.Switching to NCAA Championship Game on ESPN now.
4/8/2006 9:05:04 PM
Holy shit...slightly off topic, but BC just hit the post with two seconds left in the NCAA Final, and Wisconsin won the title 2-1.It doesn't hurt that this year's Frozen Four was hosted by Wisconsin.
4/8/2006 9:36:53 PM

4/10/2006 10:07:27 PM
GG Montreal. The Canes' fate is in their own hands now. Also GG Ovechkin for getting goal #49 and point #100 tonight, and also for being pied in the face by Jeff Halpern during the post game interview.

4/11/2006 1:09:28 AM
I don't want to be first, we have not played TB well at all this year and we looked vey good against montreal!
4/11/2006 1:28:41 AM
yeah but that was before MTL started tearing it up.
4/11/2006 1:31:42 AM
montreal is a much different teamas you all have yet to face Huet as a starteri would seriously not be hoping for the habsthey'd take the series the way they are playing now
4/11/2006 1:33:53 AM
Plz to see the thread in Chit ChatI'd rather face Brodeur than Huet at this moment. On top of that, the Habs beating Ottawa with motherfucking David Aebischer.[Edited on April 11, 2006 at 1:35 AM. Reason : f]
4/11/2006 1:35:03 AM
not to mention the Higgins line has been one of the most efficient in the league lately[Edited on April 11, 2006 at 1:37 AM. Reason : PP that is]
4/11/2006 1:35:52 AM
If you'd asked me who got the better end of the Garon/Huet deal when it happened, I would've said LA by a country mile.P.S. Huet played in the famous double-shutout at the RBC in '04.
4/11/2006 1:38:47 AM
O definatelyGaron has the tools to be a top tier goalie
