Sometimes a suspension buys them some time to give their lawyers a chance to go through all the evidence to support firing with just cause because you know many coaches and their agents will try to sue to collect a portion of the buyout money.

So there’s now been something like 4 lawsuits filed against NW. 3 by former football players and 1 by a former volleyball player. Not a good look for our current ACC commish.
