I can agree with all that, to each their own.I just don't see how someone could go without food or water all day and play a basketball game in the evening. I know how weak/sick I sometimes feel when I have to fast before giving blood for a physical, and that allows water. And they're use to a lot more calories and have an even faster metabolism than me. But yes, some seem to do it just fine
4/22/2022 9:29:22 AM
People deliberately fast all the time for a variety of reasons. If you made a concerted effort to try intermittent fasting and did it consistently for a while, you might be surprised how quickly your body is able to cope/adapt. For some people it's way more of a mental thing than a physical one, but YMMV.Anyway, can we talk about how Draymond Green is one of the best defenders in the league, if not the best, period?
4/22/2022 4:12:07 PM
I can understand the not eating aspect of fasting. But deliberately dehydrating yourself doesn't seem like the best way to reach peak physical performance.
4/22/2022 4:48:42 PM
Lol Larry Nance pretty much singlehandedly gave Phoenix that game down the stretch
4/23/2022 12:44:16 AM
muh nets
4/23/2022 10:03:05 PM
I think Tatum has surpassed Durant
4/24/2022 1:47:26 AM
4/25/2022 12:44:55 AM
Muh Pelicans
4/25/2022 2:25:53 AM
Too bad we won't get to see Ben Simmons try to remember how to play basketball this season.
4/25/2022 8:11:31 PM
4/25/2022 11:18:23 PM
If they're smart, they won't sign Kyrie to a max
4/26/2022 12:44:31 AM
Ja
4/26/2022 9:50:00 PM
RIP Malik Beasley
4/26/2022 10:02:07 PM
That twolves play was honestly bad assBut JA
4/26/2022 10:19:18 PM
yeah that 3 by Ant was cold-blooded
4/26/2022 10:59:01 PM
That one handed bounce pass tho
4/26/2022 11:01:15 PM
It was a nice pass but it didn't look one handed to me
4/26/2022 11:27:58 PM
I don't know if Nikola Jokic's asshole has been sewn shut, but Denver just keeps feeding him, and feeding him, and feeding him.
4/28/2022 12:28:02 AM
he’s fuckin incredible
4/28/2022 12:41:48 AM
Fun playoffs so far.Given the lack of Denver's depth, coupled with injuries, I'm sold on the argument Joker deserves the MVP again, instead of Embid or Giannis, and that's probably how it's going to pan out anyway. If you go by best player on the best team, Booker probably belonged in the conversation, but the past few years seem to be hyper focused on individual advanced stats, but regardless, Denver would have likely missed the playoffs altogether had Jokic not played at the level he did.I'd also argue that Nugs roster would have otherwise been an easy sweep for the Ws, but Jokic essentially singlehandedly kept that series competitive and way closer for comfort, and I'm relieved the Ws were able to semi-contain him to the extent they did.Not sure if these small lineups are going to work in future series though, and Kuminga is probably going to have to play a lot more at a high level since the team just doesn't have a ton of height and Draymond can't guard everyone all the time, and Iggy looks pretty old. Crossing my fingers that the Griz/Wolves either goes 7 or somehow MN upsets them. Ja is a major problem and even the Ws death lineup may not be enough to contain him in a shootout, given his supporting cast.PHX (assuming they close is it out) feels like such a more preferable matchup, but Boston looks like the best team in the NBA right now and I don't the Ws can stop Tatum/Jaylen Brown. Also, Jordon Poole should've won MIP instead of Ja, but oh well.
4/28/2022 2:03:56 AM
Liked all the close out teams winning tonight.
4/29/2022 12:56:42 AM
I predict Klay tries to force his way out. He is so jealous of Poole.
4/29/2022 1:03:00 AM
Embiid has to sit out at least 5 days for concussion protocol, could be longer. Miami in 6.
4/29/2022 11:59:52 PM
lmao KAT losing will never make me not smile
4/30/2022 1:00:54 AM
Who is the toughest matchup in the finals for the grizzlies? I say the heat.
5/4/2022 12:15:23 AM
I'd say any team that shoots better than 7/38 on 3s stands a decent chance.Sucks to not be going back to SF up 2-0, but the series hardly looks like it's over.[Edited on May 4, 2022 at 12:36 AM. Reason : GP II's arm probably broken though]
5/4/2022 12:26:25 AM
Yea Justin this series hardly looks over smh
5/4/2022 6:14:17 PM
justin thinks State's women could beat the Suns
5/4/2022 6:34:33 PM
Muh mavs
5/5/2022 1:28:53 AM
Embiid's return should push this series to 7.[Edited on May 6, 2022 at 8:28 PM. Reason : Bold prediction, Cotton]
5/6/2022 8:27:10 PM
Lol warriors got the passouts! Looked like a pandemic game to start the 3rd quarter
5/7/2022 10:07:29 PM
Al Horford is balling out tonight, with his old ass self. I looked it up and he's the 17th oldest player in the NBA currently. But when you consider that LeBron is the 4th oldest, it's not quite as impressive.
5/9/2022 9:48:03 PM
muh Dubs are down by 53 points in the 3rd quarter
5/11/2022 11:28:48 PM
Sucks to not be going back to SF with the series over, but the series hardly looks like it's over.
5/11/2022 11:58:03 PM
whoop that trick
5/12/2022 1:10:27 AM
Grizzlies win by 39 WITHOUT Morant. The NBA is weird, man.
5/12/2022 8:20:33 AM
I think Golden State closes out the series comfortably tonightBoston and Milwaukee should be epic, but I think the champs close it out tonight as wellPhilly probably would've been better keeping Curry and Drummond and trying to move Simmons in the offseason, instead of picking up fat washed up HardenI'd love to see Phoenix lose to Dallas but I wouldn't count on it.
5/13/2022 2:17:21 PM
I think Memphis will force a game 7 but agree that Milwaukee will win tonightI think Harden has played hurt all year, but getting rid of Simmons is addition by subtraction. The Nets need to get rid of both him and Kyrie to ever sniff a championship. Also the 76ers screwed up by choosing Simmons over Jimmy Butler. Also they need to get a new coach because Doc Rivers isn't it.]
5/13/2022 5:27:31 PM
I think Harden is just old. He can't absorb contact like he used to. Before the trade, when Philly didn't have Harden yet, and they didn't have Simmons because he was sitting out, that's when Philly was at it's best this year. Everything revolving around Embiid, where guys like Maxey and Harris and Thybulle and Curry could just do their thing. Maybe they will figure it out next year, but Daryl Morey is an idiot so probably not.
5/13/2022 9:42:25 PM
If 3’s stop falling, memphis will win
5/13/2022 11:01:44 PM
That and if the refs stop clearly favoring the warriorsStill waiting on Draymond to get called just once for his incredibly blatant moving screen where he just shoves a guy he's screening from the 3 point line to under the basket. I mean JFChttps://twitter.com/LACviolation/status/1525329618571448320?t=CnLXHFl14xEhS-ruyFZdnA&s=19 ]
5/14/2022 12:16:31 AM
Oh hey wow another GS run started with a blatant Draymond illegal screen
5/14/2022 12:24:37 AM
even though Memphis lost, Steven Adams continues to prove the doubters wrong about Michael Jordan supposedly wasting the 3rd overall pick on him
5/14/2022 12:39:40 AM
At this point I am happy with anyone except muh dubs going to finals.
5/14/2022 12:54:36 AM
It doesn't matter who goes from the garbage west.
5/14/2022 1:03:40 AM
The East is deeper but the top teams are just as good in both conferences
5/14/2022 1:05:43 AM
I hope heat at least get to finals. I think they could win it all if Butler shows up.
5/14/2022 1:09:30 AM
Chris Paul's Phoenix Suns down 30 at halftime. You hate to see it.
5/15/2022 8:58:34 PM
Lol fuck Chris paul
5/15/2022 9:14:40 PM
love this game
