I am desperate for this season to start. I just signed up for a LFC membership so I could watch preseason friendlies haha.

I also bought tickets to the German Supercup first week of August, Bayern-Dortmund at Dortmund. I know it’s a glorified friendly but I can’t pass up the opportunity while I’m here to see Bayern/Dortmund and a Bundesliga game that isn’t fucking cold outside.

At least players are starting to report now so there is some fresh news daily. I've been suffering because I like a bunch of soccer podcasts and it has been nothing but WWC for a month now and pretty much unlistenable.

I would say we should do a predicted top 4 but there are some twists and turns yet in the window surely. With that said, I'm going to do it anyway. I reserve the right to revise this prediction at the window close.

Never seen someone so obsessed with the idea of "respect" in football commentary and predictions.

I don't think Spurs will win the title but obviously they should be in the discussion. Who cares if they've never won? At what point can fans believe they're going to win the title? Or is it only if they've already won? That's insane. Just as insane is United fans that think they can ride past success as an indicator of future success indefinitely. Also fwiw, I think Leicester is definitely in a better spot to make top 4 than United based on the current squad makeup (and coach) especially if they hold onto Maguire. Keeping Tielemans and signing Perez was big.

I think there will be 5 teams fighting for one CL spot because I think the top 3 will just be on another level.

1. City/LFC/Spurs

This is a statement I disagree with. I don't buy it. Leicester and Wolves are nowhere near the rest of the top 6. I also disagree that Spurs are on a similar level to City and Pool. I will give you that pool/city are different level but I don't see how Spurs can keep up with either city/pool given their squad. Ndombele alone isn't enough and they were lucky to nick late winners and barely made the top 4.
