^Thank goodness! It was stupid.
5/3/2019 8:06:04 AM
i wish they could so something similar to f1 but it wouldn't work for twice as many cars on tracks less than half as long. australian supercars also uses the 3 round qualifying but they also have fewer cars and longer tracks.
5/3/2019 8:46:43 AM
F1 has always had group qualifying. It used to be an hour-long single session where for the first 20 minutes the only cars that would come out were a couple no-hopers. ("IT COULD RAIN!")
5/3/2019 1:08:28 PM
If they want qualifying to create a good show, make up more fuckass weird rules. Have 2 seater cars where a crew member turns a lap and the driver turns a lap. Or make the crew chief run from one end of pit road to the other with a beer helmet on and the car cant turn a lap till the run and beer is finished. I mean...if its about the show now and not the racing, then lets make it a real fucking show WWE style

Saw on Twitter that Tanner Gray won his first k&n east race of the season at South Boston tonight.
5/4/2019 10:48:51 PM
So two of the cars that were sent to the back for failing inspection finished 1-2 today and were the class of the field.........
5/6/2019 4:17:20 PM
Did they not pass inspection?
5/6/2019 6:36:04 PM
^he means failed first attempti was off work today and watched dover. was a snoozer [Edited on May 6, 2019 at 7:05 PM. Reason : s]
5/6/2019 7:04:31 PM
I know what he meant. It's irrelevant. They passed inspection.
5/7/2019 6:28:17 AM
Just pointing out how funny that in the last 10 laps the only two cars that could stay within 10 seconds of each other were the 2 that failed inspection before the race
5/7/2019 6:47:52 AM
I'm just pointing out that they also passed inspection before the race. Folks read into this inspection bullshit too much. Everyone is pushing the limits. If I was a team owner, I would doubt my engineers if my car never failed a pre-race inspection.I guess I just like the limit-pushing and flat out cheating aspect of motorsports. Everyone else wants to see some IROC lameness. [Edited on May 7, 2019 at 8:00 AM. Reason : Db]

Cooper Webb took 3rd Saturday night in Las Vegas and clinched the Supercross 450 title. He was at the press conference, and someone asked him if he was concerned about bungling it like the rider in the race before him did. Adam Cianciarulo was the points leader and running 3rd when with a few minutes to go he got sideways off a jump, wrecked, and bent his bike frame to the point he couldn't go fast anymore. Wound up finishing 20th and lost the 250 West title. Webb has always had a brashness to him and replied, "No. He cracked. I didn't." [Edited on May 7, 2019 at 10:45 AM. Reason : .]
5/7/2019 10:30:01 AM
No pit road speed limit qualifying tonight!
5/17/2019 11:12:34 AM
Alonso may have problems qualifying for Indy. He crashed Wednesday, they had to go to the backup, and are struggling for speed.
5/17/2019 2:31:24 PM
the open was awesome
5/18/2019 8:31:55 PM
As good as the open was, the actual all star race sucked ass. That package aint it chief. Also, clint bowyer goin full Michael Waltrip and throwing punches at newman while hes still in the car
5/18/2019 10:22:04 PM
who was on the pole?
5/18/2019 11:21:20 PM
^^yeah, that's usually how it goes. Open is exciting and the all star race blows. The last stage put me to sleep. The cars are nearly impossible to wreck. They really need to work on the aero package and unglue them from the track.
5/19/2019 6:23:10 AM
^ they made all the tracks worse just to get better restarts on down force tracks[Edited on May 19, 2019 at 8:53 AM. Reason : g]
5/19/2019 8:53:35 AM
Restarts are definitely crazy, but it isn't worth it.
5/19/2019 11:08:33 AM
Was at Indianapolis yesterday.Alonso, McLaren...just wow.(The car that bumped him out at the last was a small effort that lost their sponsor a week ago.)
5/20/2019 9:10:19 AM
LOL at McLarenNo steering wheel, wrong tire sensors, bad metric conversion, wrong gear ratios, just wowhttps://apnews.com/a8653967a9714ac7a9a3ba576f712fff

There's my annual reminder why I don't watch F1
5/26/2019 10:57:03 AM
How long has nascar had digital dashboards?
5/26/2019 7:35:05 PM
^been a few yearsthe 500 and 600 were pretty good
5/27/2019 8:28:30 AM
I thought the 500 was really good but the 600 was way too long and boring
5/27/2019 3:51:48 PM
pokey hoes should be runnin their roval sunday
5/29/2019 6:42:52 AM
I'm on a short list of Pocono defenders. Place is so different in a series with so much sameness.
5/29/2019 7:48:03 AM
We'll have to see how this package is, but I hope it's hot and slick.
5/29/2019 8:22:26 AM
Pocono is fine. Doesn't deserve 2 dates, though.
5/29/2019 9:49:00 AM
If we're basing 1 or 2 dates on "what's deserved", should we cut the schedule down to 24? The Roval is pretty much an acknowledgement by Charlotte they shouldn't have 2, let alone the 3 they have now.
5/29/2019 1:06:04 PM
no, we should replace something like pocono's second date with a good short track like IRP or Iowa[Edited on May 29, 2019 at 11:34 PM. Reason : although i'm not completely opposed to shortening the season]
5/29/2019 11:33:52 PM
Race dates are only going to places owned by ISC now NASCAR, and SMI. IRP is owned by the NHRA. I don't think Iowa is owned by either of the 2 big conglomerates.
5/30/2019 9:11:21 AM
Iowa was bought by NASCAR when it was in financial difficulty in 2013, which agrees with my Unofficial Rules of Auto Racing:"Any track wanting a NASCAR date must first be sold to ISC or SMI for pennies on the dollar."

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=39v_2X6enIw(Starts about halfway)This rerun was on the other night when IndyCar guys conquered Family Feud. If you had to pick a NASCAR driver lineup for Family Feud that would have good personalities for it, who would it be?My guess is Bowyer, Bubba, Larson, Jimmie, and maybe Stenhouse.
5/30/2019 10:54:40 PM
^add blaney tooahh man i hope dale jr doesnt get DC solar-ed by gragson's dad after he killed a passenger in his truck in a dui dealchip lost $5M over that crap [Edited on June 1, 2019 at 7:54 AM. Reason : s]
6/1/2019 7:53:33 AM
man that was a boring race. how many non-pit passes for the lead were there?
6/2/2019 5:07:13 PM
^pocono gonna PoconoMaybe they could have the roval on Saturday and oval on Sunday next year.
6/2/2019 7:45:50 PM
I slept through most of the race, looking at recaps I don't feel the need to rewatch.Such a crap package for that track.
6/2/2019 9:04:05 PM
even by Pocono standards, that was a terrible race. this package is junk.
6/2/2019 9:48:22 PM
Some 2020 Silly Season, in the shock of all shocks , Joe Gibbs Racing/Toyota needs to create a ride for Christopher Bell and there are only 4 top flight Toyotas in the Cup field. Perhaps you shouldn't have ran Furniture Row Racing out of business.https://theathletic.com/1003550/2019/05/31/erik-jones-a-potential-generational-talent-could-fall-victim-to-joe-gibbs-racings-good-problem-to-have/
6/5/2019 7:45:28 AM
Are there any options with the 95? I would hate to see DiBurrito lose that ride.
6/5/2019 1:10:52 PM
^^im a fan of that jones boyy'all should check out michael waltrip on dale jr's podcast. good stuff
6/5/2019 5:22:10 PM
Denny is one wreck away from having his Dale Jr. moment and realizing he needs to be out of the car for his own sake. FedEx is driving him staying at JRG, period, otherwise he'd have been released a year ago and they could have kept Suarez or not wasted this year with CBell staying down in xfinity. I could see Hamlin moving to a second LFR car (operated by JGR) to see out his contract, but I don't think they'd want to put CBell in the same situation as Erik just from a developmental standpoint.
6/5/2019 6:30:26 PM
biffle won texas truck race!
6/8/2019 8:26:06 AM
that was awesome. glad to see him come back and win.
6/8/2019 1:45:55 PM
wild finish to the K&N west race. teammate drama and such.
6/9/2019 7:36:48 AM
^i watch the deegan 38 youtubes, thought it was a great racerain the f1 penalty on VET was some bull crap. looked like just a racin deal
6/9/2019 7:03:27 PM
I think they gave him the penalty because he got on the gas, but he needed that to keep it pointed in the right direction
