They missed the double dribble for sure. I’d be pretty upset if State was on the losing end of that. But i feel like that missed call is somewhat forgiveable.

Yeah they also missed a foul on Auburn immediately before he lost his dribble, dude clearly just grabbed his jersey.

I don’t even get this. Yes, UVa was the 1 seed and favored to beat auburn. But let’s not pretend like the nation is on the edge of its seat to see UVa in the finals. If you wanna say it’s rigged, then why the hell would be it rigged in UVA’s favor?

As much as I hate the Superbowl being on Sunday, it makes a TON of sense for the host city and TV.

It just sucks for fans who have to get up early for work and/or want to drink heavily during the game.

I think this type of hyperanalyzling possession is crazy.

Virginia player knocked the ball away and it didn't touch a Tech player after the knock away.

Measuring whether it might have left the tech player's finger a nanosecond after the Virginia player seems counter productive. And I'm rooting for VA.

That review in OT...yeah it was off TT when you zoom in 100x but I feel like that’s gotta be TT’s ball. UVA pokes it out and TT wasn’t making an obvious effort to get it back. Usually they just give it to the offense there. If it’s off TT then it’s the right call. But that goes to show how silly review is in CBB. If it happened just a minute or two earlier they couldn’t review it and it’d be TT’s ball and a possibly different game. Review should be all or nothing in CBB imo. None of that only under 2 mins crap.

Agreed. And uva helped me win money tonight so I was certainly rooting for them...but that’s a crappy call.

People are going to be passionately hating on them for the next ten years at least.

And if you weren't forced to watch college basketball from birth, then there's no need to start now.

I mean, they only have one now, but if these Virginia assholes get treated to more titles, I might could learn to hate them more than Chapel Hill. Watching Rasheed Wallace dunk is way more fun than watching Kyle Guy and Company run their magical defense where they somehow never foul.

The constant use of replay end of games has I felt been a negative this tournament. If they want to keep doing it, fine, we need to reduce the number of timeouts each team has to compensate. One game I watched it was close and a minute was left, my wife made the joke the game will be over in 20 minutes. She wasn't far off the mark in the end.
