I was impressed by the big guys.

Didn't know what to expect with Funderburk and Walker, but Funderburk has a smooth shot that looks like it can go in from anywhere. It helps that he was 6 inches taller than anyone on Chowan, but a near 7 footer who can shoot and has his athleticism could end up being special for us. My guess is he struggles to play the 5 defensively in the ACC because of his strength/weight, but I could see him playing the 3 or 4 with Walker. He had no problem hanging with small guys last night and could shoot over any of them.

I don't want to overstate anything based on one exhibition game, but while Walker may not be as gifted physically as other big guys, he probably has the most polished game of any big man we have had in a long time. His passing and help defense were great.

yeah. my dad's a member on thewolfpacker (and i think he gets a magazine along with the subscription). and i'll read the boards on his account...it's ok, there are some thing during a coaching search or recruitment that you may get some more insight on...like behind the scenes type stuff. but all that generally becomes public knowledge later on anyways. and it's never, like, big time insight. it's just small details. by being a member maybe you catch a rumor a few hours before twitter does...but i don't get much from it. really, the biggest thing imo is that the "premium" boards kinda filter out some of the trolls and general asshats. so it's a slightly less awful reading experience. but nah, i wouldn't pay for it. i'll mooch off dad till he cancels
