^ agree with all that. We got my 6 year old one for Christmas. So far we still use the controller with it. For two player games we just use the individual small remotes. I haven't picked up an additional one yet but may do so in the future. My son's bday is coming up an he was making his wish list. I was like "You want Super Smash Bros." and he didn't know what I was talking about. So I showed him the ad on Youtube. So now it is first on his list. Score!

I recommend investing in a pro controller. I've eventually picked up 3 controllers. 2 joy cons and a pro. Oh, and I went ahead and got a charging station. Ugh. Hook, line and sinker.

Metroid Dread is badass.

^Awesome, will add to my "boys" Christmas list. I love the Metroid series. The two on game cube were fantastic. I did the same thing with Zelda when I first got the switch for my oldest son. Told my mom he wanted it for Christmas. Figured I would play it but I never took the time. Turns out, my now 6 year old just beat the game pretty much by himself. He couldn't read at all when he started and is still learning to read. I don't know how he knew what the hell to do. Admire his dedication.[Edited on October 14, 2021 at 12:10 PM. Reason : .]

Anybody get that OLED version?

I mostly play on my TV so it doesn't do much for me. If they put out a version that supports 4k I'd be all over that.

Only complaint so far on Metroid Dread is that I wish it had more of a prominent soundtrack. Otherwise, great game.

If I could get my hands on one, it wouldn't be too bad to sell the current switch for $200 and pick up the new one for 150, but like everything else, scalpers are getting their hands on all of them.

Looks like they fucked up their N64 emulation. Ocarina of Time ran better on the Gamecube and Wiihttps://kotaku.com/players-have-a-ton-of-complaints-about-nintendo-switch-1847936448?_ga=2.198354794.496763861.1635285858-1459072722.1633373506
