Vehemently? No, I just simply disagree. It's true that it doesn't change the outcome of what just occurred. However, I find it fulfilling to escape successfully or take down the dropship. It provides a nice chunk of xp that would help you level faster, etc. I just want to see how big of a role it plays in the final game before I pass judgement on it. I do, vehemently disagree with you when you say that actually getting in your Titan is a complete waste of time.

The problem with the 250-80 was that the guys that got wrecked do not know they got wrecked. After a game, even if you die a shit ton, I'm sure you have atleast a 2+ kd counting all the bots. In COD or battlefield if you get wrecked you will rage quit, not feel like you played good.

I'm not sure you are understanding my point but oh well.

Yes the fun of beating someone, is them actually knowing the got beat. With bots, its like playing football and not keeping score (Yea I know I won, they know I won, but it doesn't feel like winning).

i still dont know what supposed FPS player is sitting around going "yeah i got a 2:1 K/D...with the bots." I mean the scores are broken down into separate columns even.

Really like this game, it's nearly living up to all the hype.

Biggest critique would be that it really is difficult to know what is a bot and what is a pilot in the middle of a gunfight. Wouldn't mind a reskin to make it more apparent. Then again that might be intentional for the above strategy.

Looking forward to a few more hours tonight, pretty much was locked out of joining any game from around 930-10 last night.

Curious to know what further perks/tacticals/weapons will be available on the full game

having more options would definitely be nice. im rocking mostly the same couple of loadouts, but i like variety so i have something to do to keep it interesting. I'll probably stop playing today so I don't burn out on the few starter weapons, but it has been fun.

there's little more enjoyable than having ur auto titan fight someone and then rocketing them to death from a window or rooftop.

Less variety the better imo. Keeps the meta down. If the game is good in itself...everyone will continue to play.

Halo 2 will always reign supreme for me. It was simple, but had enough options to slightly change the pace of things.

so who is playing this on pc? I got it on pc (beta) since my xbone was doa and after playing a bit, I feel i'd be pissed trying to play this on a console without keyboard and mouse.

graphics suck but it's a decent time filler. i think the game would be substantially more interesting in a premade setting so you can plan your drops/loadouts/etc. i think that's the reasoning behind making it 6v6, for esport purposes.

I'm on PC, but I don't see why anyone thinks this wouldn't be just as good on a console. The controls aren't THAT complicated. As far as the "graphics sucking"--surely that's just because the beta client has super dumbed down textures to compress the file size to 12GBs.

I just started playing last night and it's very fun. The grunt filler... it's okay, entertaining I guess. I end up running by grunt fights looking for real players. The smart pistol seems kind of ridiculous, but very fun for mowing down grunts.
