The scene was badass, but her reaction just didn't make sense to me.She just did something epic, she harnessed her powers and did something she intended to do with them and they were super effective...why not be stoked or at least somewhat happy? She controlled the water and then she actually used her power to stop from being shot and to allow herself to get away, you'd think taking a step forward from almost destroying the room anytime she lost control would make her happy. Also, wonder why home girl didn't seem more angry that the troops looking for Skye were clearly not using "icers" when they specifically told them to, even the commander guy that was with her was using bullets instead of something to stun her. You'd have thought she'd hear the first gunshot and flip out or ask why his troops were shooting to kill.

1) I think it's one step forward two steps back. [i]Yay! I can control water! Oh ones! I'm a destructive creature like Simmons thought 2) I think it's also muddying the waters for Bobby. We thought Coulson was in the right. She thinks her SHIELD is, but they're pragmatic approach and duplicity seems to suggest otherwise. The speech to Coulson about keeping secrets was absurd given -- like Coulson noted -- their whole team went dark, they planted sleeper agents, they never contacted him. Granted, they saw Coulson as possible threat with his alien tranfusion, but still, they weren't forthright.
4/2/2015 11:25:23 AM
I'm not really sure where they can go from here. I think we might see Fury ex machina show up at some point. Maybe Olmos ends up actually being Hydra or something dumb. I think the most disappointing thing is I would much rather watch an Agents of Shield starring Olmos with the rest of the new crew from this season.
4/2/2015 11:27:54 AM
Why? They're boring. It seems pretty obvious they're hinting at civil war; I mean they already have one, and he mentions wanting to find the "special individuals" and make the Earth safe.
4/2/2015 11:38:28 AM
Having a hard time remembering to watch this. Will probably watch all weekend one weekend before Avengers. III
4/2/2015 12:23:01 PM
So I think Stark is funding the new shield. Since the only actual movie that the show has tied into was a previous CA movie, then it only makes sense that they build up to the next CA movie.
4/2/2015 3:33:51 PM
I have a feeling we will see fury or an avenger on the show before may 1st.
4/2/2015 9:26:30 PM
I haven't seen anything from the 2nd season. Should I catch up before Ultron?
4/15/2015 5:53:02 PM
Well the second season has been really good, but I don't know if anything in it is leading up to Ultron.
4/15/2015 6:02:30 PM
I'm wondering if Phil's big secret is somehow tied into the project that becomes Ultron.
4/16/2015 8:45:27 AM
Or given his allegiance to Skye (and association with Dethklok Deathlok) that he's on the unregistered side of the Civil War powers debate. He's gonna Harriet Tubman those folks to safehouses. I just...don't care about Raina at all. I understand her character arc from devoted believer to jaded inhuman, but I don't feel any sympathy for her. I don't find her to be all that interesting. Also, the previous weeks episode with Simmons making Fitz a sandwich? Adorable.
4/16/2015 9:23:28 AM
I'm glad to see that people are still watching this. I was getting a little concerned. Also, I really enjoyed Agent Carter, I hope they bring it back for a second season.
4/16/2015 10:18:32 AM
Regarding Agent Carter, there was some rumor floating around on the internet that it's odds of being renewed had increased as of late. And the numbers for SHIELD are pretty good when you look at the live+7 stuff, so I think it's safe as well. Additionally, rumors were floating around of an Agents of Shield spinoff in the works. I guess we'll see.Season 2 has been worlds better than I expected. Season 1 finished up so great, but Season 2 has been on another level in terms of consistently enjoyable shows. I'm sure there will be some loose tie-in to Ultron. I don't think it's going to be as involved as last season's tie-in to The Winter Soldier. I think more likely we'll see the team dealing with the after effects of a world that was just torn up by Ultron's clash with the Avengers. Marvel's Agents of Destruction Cleanup. Someone's gotta take out the trash.[Edited on April 17, 2015 at 8:36 AM. Reason : .]

That's what it was like after Thor 2, and I didn't really enjoy it.
4/17/2015 2:42:50 PM
any speculation on what the plot/characters would be about if there was a spinoff?

Do we really need 3 MCU tv shows on at the same time?
4/21/2015 8:45:52 AM
DCU has like half a dozen, so...
4/21/2015 9:24:15 AM
Right, but only 2 take place in the same universe (for now). It's also totally separate from the movieverse
4/21/2015 9:26:01 AM
I'm ok with all the marvel shows, but I mean, Agents of SHIELD is doing ok but it isn't knocking it out of the park. I just wonder if there are enough viewers out there.
4/21/2015 10:18:27 AM
They are definitely going to integrate somewhat with the release of Avengers. They are going to be going after Strucker it seems, who the Avengers fight in the opening scene.
4/22/2015 4:22:29 PM
Gordon: "We think Raina's gift may allow her to see things before they happen"Skye: "I thought her gift was spinning really fast to collect gold rings"
4/28/2015 11:15:39 PM
^lol at the Sonic jokeI haven't seen Winter Soldier since it came out -- wasn't Agent Hill deputy director of SHIELD when Fury faked his death? So shouldn't she have been director after him? I know that Fury told Coulson he was director (and I suppose Fury could have told Hill that Coulson was too) but where did Gonzalez come from? Shouldn't he be recognizing Hill as director?[Edited on April 29, 2015 at 1:56 PM. Reason : ]
4/29/2015 1:56:07 PM
We can't answer that question without kinda spoiling the winter soldier. If you don't care, I'll tell you what happens to Hill.
4/29/2015 2:02:06 PM
^ he said he's seen it, just not since it came out
4/29/2015 3:01:03 PM
Oh, then in that case, Hill was last seen at the end of TWS taking an administrative position with Stark Industries, seemingly shrugging off SHIELD for a new profession.
4/29/2015 3:12:04 PM
Ah okay, that explains the Stark Industries logo behind her on the latest episode of Agents of SHIELD.
4/29/2015 4:36:56 PM
The reference to the twins, that's be Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch right?

That is correct[Edited on April 30, 2015 at 9:15 AM. Reason : $$$]

skye suddenly became a badass.and agent 33 is under ward's brainwashing, right?
4/30/2015 6:23:10 PM
Yeah I'm wondering what Wards endgame is here, if she is just a plant and he will turn her back at some point. At the same time I could see them just bringing her on board the team, if the rumors are true then we are going to be losing Bobbi at some point here to the spinoff, so they could replace her. I think the producers definitely want to pull the redemption angle with Ward though, which is unfortunate. He worked best as an unhinged wildcard.
4/30/2015 6:35:59 PM
Spoilers: Although it felt a little shoehorned, I enjoyed that this week's episode explicitly acknowledges the events of the Avengers movie and that the movie directly ties to Coulson's big secret. Raina's Cassandra Complex/Boy who Cried Wolf thing is enjoyable, but Jiaying's duplicity seems out of character. Up until this point, she hasn't seemed like a particularly manipulative or by-any-means-necessary character. I'm excited about the two hour finale. Spoilers.

Season finale was really good I thought.
Holy hell I was not expecting that
5/12/2015 11:06:41 PM
god damn that was a good two hours of TV

it at least made sense in the plot thoughthem turning Coulson into Black Bolt was a little strange to me
5/13/2015 3:33:21 PM
5/13/2015 3:39:46 PM
WTF? I missed the episode. Coulson turned into something else? May wearing the IM suit? The show seems to have gone from something on the fringe of the MCU to right in it.
5/13/2015 3:56:29 PM
Yeah it was pretty crazy. I can't believe they used the Robert Downey Jr cameo this early in the show, figured that would be like season 5 or so. The payoff was worth it though.^ It wasn't "the" IM suit, just "a" IM suit, built for her.[Edited on May 13, 2015 at 4:10 PM. Reason : a]

The Black Bolt thing was cool, but Coulson joke to Mack about being black was a little dumb.Anyway, it was a really exciting episode Agents of Shield movie.
5/13/2015 8:55:30 PM
It's been a couple of days, so I'm going to assume it's OK to have spoilers now. The whole Coulson as Black Bolt thing was fine as was May wearing an Iron Man suit (I'm calling her Iron May now btw), but you guys aren't even mentioning the part where they reveal this whole MCU has been a dream that Coulson had after drinking too much. The reveal that they're rebooting the series as a rom-com with Coulson and the cellist just blew my mind. I'm interested to see where it goes from here. My guess is they'll recast all the MCU movies with lower budget actors and start fresh. Anyway, to quote Quicksilver
5/14/2015 9:05:26 AM
Man Fitz and Simmons have it rough.
5/18/2015 8:23:55 AM
oh we back
9/30/2015 12:32:36 PM
I've watched series from end to end and I never saw May put on a suit. Was that some kind of joke you guys were pulling?
