but that's morgan nowand I think they are gonna have Rick and Jesse sex0r so its more heartbreaking when he has to let her go
11/9/2015 9:15:11 PM
Midseason finale will be titled "No Way Out"
11/10/2015 9:39:53 AM
No, Morgan is not Jesus. Jesus didn't mind messing people up and wasn't nearly the preachy-sort that Morgan has been. Plus Jesus has to be present to bring us to the Hilltop community and start that storyline. Also think they're just building up Morgan's character for it to matter more when he's killed off.Is there anyway this season doesn't end with that annoying kid shooting Khorl and the midseason finale will be "is Khorl going to survive?!?"
11/10/2015 10:29:54 AM
HOLY SHIT!!! Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been cast as mother fucking NEGAN
11/10/2015 11:44:31 AM
I could see that workingmaybe the kid will shoot Khorl in the eye]
11/10/2015 4:26:59 PM
^^I think its a great casting. I'm really looking forward to him. I'm really hoping they swerve a little bit and have Darryl meet Lucille at the end of the season, would be a great WTF way to end this year. ^^^I'm not sure they can kill off Morgan any time soon. I think it would be pretty bad if they kill him off, then introduce Ezekiel soon, then kill off Ezekiel. They have already made it a running joke how black characters always get killed off. I think it is more likely that Morgan just up and leaves at some point.
11/10/2015 9:23:07 PM
^I think the whole "every black person on the show dies" thing is really blown out of proportion. We have Gabriel, Michonne, and Sasha who have been on the show quite a while now. I hope they stick to the comics and kill off Morgan in the next few episodes when the walkers get into Alexandria.
11/11/2015 8:42:45 AM
http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Deaths_(TV_Series)I am listing people who were kind of in the main group. Maybe not significant characters, but not worthless redshirts. From showWhite PeopleJimSophiaShaneLoriMerleMiltonAndreaViolet (the pig)HershelMitchThe GovernorMikaLizzie (look at the flowers)That Gang where Rick bit the guys neck outGarethBethDawn (Police crazy chick)RegPete (porch dick)BarnesNicholasEastmanBlack PeopleJacquiT-DogKarenBobTyreeseNoahTabitha (goat)LatinoCeasarGlen!?!?!??!!??Edit: I will say, that the ratio of significant black people introduced (SBPI) and killed is equal to or greater than white peple (SWPI)Meaning there are just more white people.[Edited on November 11, 2015 at 9:11 AM. Reason : SBPI is awesome]
11/11/2015 9:04:31 AM
I mean there have been a good amount. And if you think about who major could potentially die over the next two seasons we have Morgan, Ezekiel, Glenn. Is there really anyone else super important that I'm missing? It also isn't so much a matter of killing off black characters, but the fact that they tend to really only have one black male at a time. And it will probably continue that way if they kill Morgan off soon. Kill him off, then at the start of next season we meet Ezekiel?
11/11/2015 9:10:24 AM
^Well technically right now we have Morgan, Gabriel, and Heath. If we lost Morgan and next season introduced Ezekiel, we'd still have half a season before the introduction of another and all 3 of those guys should survive for at least a season or so.I get early on it was a pattern, but I think that pattern kind of got blown up with Gabriel, Heath, and Michonne being main-stays. I have no idea what to expect out of Sasha, thought for a minute they'd just make her the "sniper" like Andrea, but then they seemed to get away from that.
11/11/2015 2:07:28 PM
maybe Morgan meets Lucilleafter making the one surviving wolf a Zen Masterim thinking since the Governor beat Rick and Rick had to be saved, they will have Rick "come from behind" against Negan, and be pounding his face in when people pull him offor they might just kill Negan when the show has him beatenMaybe Cliff Curtis arrives from the west coast to save the day
11/12/2015 4:27:21 PM
Loved how they handled the introduction of "Dwight" from the comics, glad we actually got to see his story play out instead of just hearing about it after-the-fact when he explains his messed up face.[Edited on November 16, 2015 at 12:02 PM. Reason : .]
11/16/2015 11:56:14 AM
so doesn't stupid kid shoot Khorl in the eye?does jesse survive this?I want to see a back story episode next season that starts at a used car lot, and show how Negan became what he is
11/23/2015 10:15:07 PM
Since there is no Douglas to shoot Khorl in the eye, it'll be interesting to see how it works. If they don't kill Jesse off exactly as she goes in the comics, it's going to be a huge missed opportunity. Such an easy scene to reproduce and such a powerful scene, would definitely be great to see it play out.Do they have the kid shoot Khorl or have Deanna breakdown and accidentally shoot Khorl? They could still have Spencer try his deal with Negan later.Any doubt the season ends with a cliffhanger of Khorl being shot?
11/24/2015 7:08:05 AM
But we've already had a Khorl-got-shot cliffhanger back in season 2. Be kinda lame if they do it again.
11/24/2015 7:54:22 AM
Rumor is that:(1) Deanna has heartfelt talks with Rick and Michone about a better Alexandria, saves Rick from a walker, then dies from a walker.(2) Rick, Judith, Jessie, Sam (and Ron & Carl?) are hiding in a house together during the zombie flood. They try sneaking out of the house by covering themselves with zombie guts. Sam panics, and zombies eat him, Jessie tries saving Sam (while holding Judith), but Jessie starts to get eaten too. Rick tries grabbing Judith, and has to kill Jessie (cut off her hand/arm?). Ron is pissed, goes to shoot Rick, and Carl takes the bullet for dear ole dad. Photos of on-site filming have shown Carl with an eye patch.(3) Carol and Morgan will have a fight - maybe someone gets hurt?(4) Father Gabriel lets people hide in his new church, then goes machete-priest on some zombies (5) After Rick goes bananas seeing Carl shot, he and Michone lead the charge to kill the zombies. After their victory, they get a visitor (Jesus?)
11/24/2015 11:06:13 AM
so, dumb kid is gonna get them all killedand your stuff belongs to Negan
11/30/2015 2:42:17 AM
Not sure how I feel about that introduction to the Saviors. I mean I'm glad we're starting down that path, but I wonder how this shifts deaths from the comics. Was really hoping Daryl would meet Lucille, but not sure how they could swing that now.
11/30/2015 8:40:52 AM
lets just blindly speculate for 2 months
11/30/2015 10:24:24 AM
Well I mean I think it's pretty clear how the stuff in Alexandria will play out.Jesse and the annoying kid dies, hopefully with the epic Rick chopping her arm off scene.Ron gets his eye shot, thus the eye-patch in scenes they've already filmed.Glenn saves Maggie. The only interesting talking points are when will Jesus arrive, and how does the Daryl and Crew meeting the Saviors play out? No way they just take their stuff and let them go. Also hate how that whole thing played out, why would 3 of the most paranoid people on the show just roll up on a pack of bikers that clearly had weapons in plain view? Especially when you have a RPG in your truck.
11/30/2015 10:31:18 AM
11/30/2015 7:15:05 PM
we are going to have another half season of the group being split apart. great.
12/1/2015 7:56:36 AM
Finally caught up on the comics. After each season ended I would read the comics up to that point to see what was different. After I came across a couple of major spoilers online, I gave up doing that. Besides, this show is moving too slowly. Too few episodes per season and way too much filler. At this rate, Carl is going to be 21 when the war ends. So why does everyone keep referring to "meeting Lucille"? Is it just an easier way to refer to the event or are we avoiding major spoilers in this thread?[Edited on December 12, 2015 at 1:38 AM. Reason : ]
12/12/2015 1:22:35 AM
I have your answer........this is the spoiler thread....you have been warnedI love AmericaDon't do drugsso Lucille is a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire that Negan carries around, he uses it to bash Glen's head in, and that is what is known as "meeting Lucille"rumor is that Darryl is gonna get it on TV, so every woman under the age of 50 will have to find another DILF
12/13/2015 1:56:16 AM
this show is about to "go too far"?so who's gonna meet her?
2/20/2016 11:37:29 PM
They're making the whole "Glenn is going to die" thing a bit too much. I think Daryl meets Lucille instead of Glenn. More of a curveball for the fans.Though when they showed Daryl got cut during the fight...didn't the Saviors dip their knives in infected blood? Also think it's going to be the last episode of the season before we actually see Negan.[Edited on February 21, 2016 at 10:38 AM. Reason : .]
2/21/2016 10:38:12 AM
If I remember correctly, the Saviors started the walked blood thing after the war had begunI saw a news article where the cast was appalled at the script for the last episodeI wonder if Dwight having the crossbow will come back into play
2/21/2016 2:47:47 PM
fuck, now I think Michonne is gonna get it
2/21/2016 10:06:33 PM
pretty sure she did
2/21/2016 10:35:09 PM
yeah that too
2/21/2016 10:38:34 PM
Maybe, but I just can't see them doing that to a woman, especially on the TV show. If they are trying to one up the comic book, they might as well just go to the extreme and do it to Judith, now that would be fucked up.So I asked this question before but no one answered me. Is this thread just for the TV show or can we talk about the comics too? Do we need to post spoiler warnings when we mention the comics? I'm asking because the thread title doesn't mention the comics so I just want to make sure.[Edited on February 21, 2016 at 10:51 PM. Reason : ]

^Think this thread if more about just comparing the comics to the show and how things are different and what-not. Also the inevitable predictions on how we think the show will go compared to the comics. Pretty sure everything is fair game, we just tend to discuss more in relation to the current time-period on the show.Michonne = Andrea now?The show has really been reluctant to go nearly as gory/disturbing as the comics, so I fully expect the Lucille beating to be one of those "cut away" scenes where he swings and you just see the reaction of people watching the beating and then the aftermath of the dead body. I mean the show completely avoided Michonne getting raped, Maggie trying to kill herself, the child murderer in the prison, Judith dying, etc. I don't see Michonne catching Lucille. Yeah once Daryl lost the crossbow to Dwight, it basically sealed the fate of one of the main characters. Either Abraham or Daryl are catching a bolt in the eye. Given that Dwight will remember Daryl, I think it'll be Abraham still.
2/22/2016 8:37:55 AM
i saw the michonne thing coming on the way to terminus after she and khorl started getting close and with andrea being dead. That really only leaves michonne and carol, and carol has turned into a killing machine, i dont see her hooking up with anybody.I would rather have sniper andrea in the show than carol
2/23/2016 7:07:55 PM
I liked how it appeared Daryl and Carol would hook up, then that dissolved. Then it seemed Daryl and Beth would hook up, then that dissolved. If Daryl avoids Lucille and an arrow from Dwight, then I really, REALLY hope they have him and Jesus hook-up. The fan reaction would be hysterical.
2/24/2016 8:24:47 AM
so now Abraham and Eugene are going to patrol together, yeaaaahhh....Jesus H Monroe
2/28/2016 11:39:35 PM
I like the casting for Gregory. Thought the actual location of Hilltop was awful. The wall was spot-on, house was right...but that shit wasn't even on a hill and didn't have nearly the view it depicted in the comics.Yeah, entirely too much emphasis on Abraham this episode, he's 100% dying. Can't wait to see if they actually push the Eugene/Rosita storyline, haha.
2/29/2016 8:53:33 AM
this episode made me believe that Abraham is getting the Lucille treatment.
3/1/2016 8:21:03 AM
They made it a point to say Abraham would be patrolling with Eugene now. He's definitely meeting Dwight soon. Should set the tone for The Saviors before the season finale where we finally see Negan for the first time and Lucille enters the fray at someone's expense. Based on Maggie's line this week that they'd lose something, it's going to be Glenn.
3/1/2016 9:19:02 AM
a very religious woman in my office was talking about how she thought Jesus was going to be the new fan favorite for women, overtaking Daryl. She wishes they had given him a different name of course.lol i really really hope they keep him gay
3/1/2016 3:22:02 PM
I initially wanted them to kill Daryl off with Lucille...But now that they've talked to Daryl about settling down and what-not...I really hope they end up having Daryl be gay with Aaron, or heck, even Jesus. The reaction would be great.
3/2/2016 8:34:59 AM
A gay JesusThat would be amazing
3/2/2016 11:59:30 AM
when was the last time we saw Aaron's bf?I know he broke his leg and all, but did he die or what?him and Aaron could move to the Hilltop and call it Brokeleg Mountain
3/2/2016 2:24:40 PM
i believe he was shown helping out in the infirmary last season.
3/2/2016 4:44:48 PM
I'm guessing those pictures were victims of Lucille, but why would some random henchman have them on his wall? Was laughing to myself thinking how funny it would be if that was Negan and Glenn stabbed him in the head already (obviously it's not though). Poor Glenn
3/6/2016 9:58:08 PM
well I wonder how the hostage situation will play outim guessing we get to see the Sanctuary, im pretty sure that was just an outpost
3/7/2016 2:54:08 AM
Seemed to me they showed the pictures because that dude was deranged and really enjoyed them(maybe even got off to them) and making sure Glenn saw them was a nice touch.100% not the Sanctuary, I'm not convinced we'll even see the Sanctuary this season. I really expected them to just have a clean escape from the outpost, feeling like they won the war. The casual viewer would think our team of good guys were just superior and more bad ass than ever, and then Negan would show up and crush all happiness/confidence to end the season. If this season finale doesn't involve Glenn meeting Lucille, it'll be a complete waste.
3/7/2016 8:39:20 AM
is Negan still a central villain the comic universe or has that storyline already been resolved?Just curious how long we should expect Negan to be a part of the show.
3/7/2016 2:55:17 PM
yes.
3/7/2016 3:22:27 PM
I expect the war with Negan to last a full season, depending on how much they get into this year with the remaining 4 episodes. They could rush it and make it into half a season, but I expect it the war itself won't get resolved until end of next season.Though Negan should be around on the show for quite a while, depending on what the actor wants to do. He seems to get pretty regular work.
3/7/2016 3:39:14 PM
I haven't seen an episode since the mid-season finale. I don't know why, but I'm just not feelin it anymore
3/7/2016 3:49:53 PM
