Right and it's two different departments falling under the larger office umbrella. Like how biology and botany fall under CALS. Or how the Office of the Provost usually has a dozen or so departments underneath it. You simply wouldn't consider them the same departments. It gets even more confusing when you consider many graduate departments have their own dedicated recruitment staff. A lot of university money is dedicated to student recruitment, especially at private universities. I always think it's interesting to see what approach a university takes when in a situation like Peace and from what I've learned in my studies and career they screwed the pooch.[Edited on December 19, 2011 at 6:30 PM. ^^ I know you're arguing just for the sake of it since the base of the discussion is on do universities recruit at all
12/19/2011 7:09:59 PM
you're the one that said admissions wasn't responsible for recruiting

My high school girlfriend got into and went to Peace. I think she got turned down by every school in NC. She MIGHT have been waitlisted at ECU...but I think she got turned down there as well. She had decent common sense...but was as dumb as fuck when it came to school.
2/28/2012 2:39:14 PM

yeah so I've been following this really closely and this from the article above sums up my and others sentiment
4/11/2012 12:08:18 PM
As soon as I heard about those "leadership academies" I figured it was just a way that Peace was looking to make a buck on their real estate.
4/11/2012 12:10:16 PM
so, it's slowly turning into a prep school?
4/11/2012 12:12:55 PM
Wasn't it a prep school in the past, then went to a 4-year college, and now who the hell knows what it is? [Edited on April 11, 2012 at 12:15 PM. Reason : a]

I believe it was a culinary school, a kindergarten, high school, junior college, then a baccalaureate college (not sure if that's the right order) it also spent time as a hospital and morgue during the civil war

Isn't it about a 30/70% split of guys to girls? I bet the guys like those odds.
8/22/2012 11:04:29 AM
Seems to me that the guys enrolling at WPU don't really care about that split.
8/22/2012 11:18:20 AM
based on what? the two quotes above? or are you insinuating they're gay?
