Most beers have 20% of your daily fiber so that's why you get the beer shits after drinking too many beers.

I can't believe I didn't know that Lauryn Hill sang on Nas's song "If I ruled the world." I am truly ashamed here, folks.
One of my favorite songs from that time.

What pawning really means.

Quote :
"So, for example, I take my AR to a guy, he deems it's worth $1100 dollars retail. This means he'll buy it at maybe $600-700. So, I can get a loan typically up to around that amount. We write up a contract and have, say, 30 days to pay back the money and I get my rifle back. If I default on the loan, it's his and he puts it up for general sale."

Quote :
"^^Pawning is like getting a loan for collateral. However, after x amount of time, it goes up for sale."

hmmmm, interesting.

Why does it thunder after lightning comes up?

Because light travels faster than sound and because the thunder is the result of the rapid collapse of the air around the lightning bolt the thunder comes later. AS a result, thunder is always later than the lightning.

Hmmm, interesting... never knew that...

^ really?

You've never heard that if you count the time after you see lightning, before the thunder, every 5 seconds is a mile that the lightning is away From you?

Buffalo mozzarella.

Actually comes from buffalos.

And they provide a significant amount of dairy for cheese production in the U.S.

Somehow I thought "buffalo mozzarella" was somehow just a turn of phrase.

There are more moves and versions of moves within games of chess than there are atoms in the universe.

Assuming games that eventually end and a reasonable definition of a non-trivial move, I find that hard to believe. But I could be easily swayed given a compelling argument.

yeah, I am calling complete bullshit on that one. I mean, the moves themselves are made out of atoms amirite or amirite?

chess still hasn't been fully solved, and without miraculous advances in technology it won't ever actually happen... mankind likely won't last long enough

"The number of legal positions in chess is estimated to be between 1043 and 1047 (a provable upper bound), with a game-tree complexity of approximately 10123. The game-tree complexity of chess was first calculated by Claude Shannon as 10120, a number known as the Shannon number. Typically an average position has thirty to forty possible moves, but there may be as few as zero (in the case of checkmate or stalemate) or as many as 218."

Yes. I would venture to say it excludes ALL of it, with the margin of error containing the observable portion

But those are some pretty big numbers any way ya slice'em

"1) go to a site of your choosing. I like animated gif.net. i will use the said site for this step by step

2)click on the thumbnail size of the gif that you want and it'll open up in a bigger window

3)hold you finger over the gif and you'll get an option to either save, copy or cancel

4)choose save image. and it'll go into your camera roll

5)send a text to someone and type what you want to say and click on the camera button next to the text box. you should get the option to "take photo or video" or "choose existing" or cancel

6)choose existing and go into your camera roll. your gif should be in there so choose it and it'll show up with your text. press send to send it away... and enjoy.. hope this helps"

Several years ago, I was getting drunk alone during the early morning hours at the beach. I kept stepping outside for smokes. I was especially reflective, staring up at the sky, and there was no light pollution. I eventually noticed that the stars were moving...except they weren't.
