uh have you ever seen the 'Thundercat' "Stinger" in person? Not a thinly veiled reference. He really looks like LionO minus the muscles.Dont even get me started on the time he knocked a girl up after she posted a nudie shot on the wolfweb. 300 lb disgusting girl licking her own titties. That was just gross as fuck and someone else will have to post that, Im definitely not looking that up.

Wow son, for you to bring up the same lies from years ago, me making fun of your failed prediction of the Heat must really have your panties in a wad.Funny, you should have put the teacher calling me out detail in your story 5 years ago, but I guess you hadnt made that part up yet. As for being scared of public speaking, I regularly give presentations at trade shows and conventions. I guess everyone else in my company is more scared than me. Yeah, I remember the thundercats thing, I even introduced myself as lion-o in your threads for awhile. And the above post shows you really dont know shit about me. But I can say with confidence that you know more about me than you know about sports.and btw,

john wall's fg percentage is pretty bad right now, a lot of rookies hit a wall in that regard but I am starting to wonder a little bitalso that melo to nets stuff was much ado about nothing, it never would or will happen because melo won't sign a long term deal with them, i think it was just a case of the nets ownership trying to draw attention to themselves
1/22/2011 12:12:20 AM
I have to say I'm impressed with John Wall's high assists given the fact that he's such an awful shooter.I'd like to see how he's racking up so many assists, I can't figure out why defenses wouldn't be sagging off him more.If he can ever become even an average shooter and decision maker he could be pretty good in the NBA. His athleticism is certainly elite.

What was I wrong about? I said hed shoot 40% or less and be one of the league leaders in turnover and that they wouldn't sniff 35 wins and that he wouldn't even be in the race for ROY as blake griffin might be an allstar. And I nailed his ppg too. This clearly goes in the wow, nice call rally pile

Wrong again, right before the season I said javale mcgee looks like an animal and now I think they'll win 20ish games. Its right there on the first page. And what do you know, mcgee has been great. Also, arenas came back and gave them a little more than anyone anticipated for a few wins. Nick young as well.Wall has been pretty much as I expected tho I will admit slightly better. I won $1400 on this one, pay homage.
1/26/2011 11:23:51 AM
The amount of a win doesn't matter when calculating your success as a bettor. And time and time again, you've proven to be average at best. From my Seattle-Indy Super bowl pick several years ago to the picks you continue to pick today, you've failed to demonstrate that you're any better than anyone else. And usually, demonstrably worse.
1/26/2011 11:30:07 AM
"Hey I bet if I predict every outcome for every team I'm certain to be right!"Wall seems to be the 2nd best rookie in the league, and the best of the past draft.Imagine how awesome the rookie class of last year would have been if Griffin hadn't been hurt. Easily the best since 2003 (still the best draft class since 2003).[Edited on January 26, 2011 at 11:53 AM. Reason : ]

i think he's saying last year's class was the best since 2003, but had Griffin been healthy it wouldn't even be debatable
1/26/2011 12:10:49 PM
^ YesLast year's rookie class: Possibly the best since 2003Last year's rookie class if griffin hadn't been hurt (so the draft class): Definitely the best since 2003

but Carmelo isn't a superstar, right?interesting read though]
1/30/2011 3:32:50 AM
sandwiched between Nick Van Exel and Jason Terry hahaI kind of expected to see Robert Horry on there somewhere. I wonder if he didn't have enough attempts to qualify or if his % was that bad.
1/30/2011 9:59:22 AM
Right, Carmelo is definitely not a superstar. No need to really even argue that one, his stats and lack of success in the NBA make that an easy judgment.
1/30/2011 3:17:18 PM
Ray Allen is the new all time leader in 3 pointers madeFunny, rally mentioned a bunch of records with zero chance of being broken, yet he didn't even mention Shuttlesworth passing Reggie
2/10/2011 9:15:47 PM
i was wondering how many 3's he was gonna jack up early on

Just a little John Wall update to confirm he isn't ready for the NBA Averages through 40 games14.6 points9 assists4 boards1.7 steals40 FG%76 FT%3.6 TO36 minutesI fully expect Rally to come in now and explain that turning the ball over once a quarter on average makes Wall a shitty player.
2/13/2011 4:00:51 PM
just give it a few years, he will change the details to fit his story and hope you dont notice
2/13/2011 4:12:03 PM
he'll probably only focus on the 40% field goal shooting and ignore everything else
2/13/2011 4:19:51 PM
it would be difficult for him to do that, but its a real possibility
2/13/2011 4:27:13 PM
Wizards 14-38, 0-25 on the road, losers of 9 of their last 10.Wall is shooting 40% and is one of the league leaders in turnovers.Precisely correct there.
2/13/2011 4:37:56 PM
Rondo, Westbrook, Lebron, Nash, Rose, Deron, and Dwight Howard are also league leaders in turnoversWhats your pointOh yeah, this is your point
2/13/2011 4:41:22 PM
^ How is Dwight Howard one of the leaders in TOs? Is it due to getting doube teamed so much and trying to pass out of them? Or is it from too many charges? He just doesn't fit with the rest of that group.

John Wall was ready for the NBA right out of high school.
2/14/2011 9:48:19 AM
I'm willing to admit I was right that he isn't good this year and he's a horrid shooter. He is slightly better than I thought he'd be though he has great athleticism. When he starts winning let me know, it isn't going to be this year thats for sure
2/14/2011 1:16:02 PM
2/14/2011 1:27:38 PM
I have been surprised at how well Wall has been at distributing the ball this year. I pictured him as a crappier version of Iverson for at least his first couple of seasons (i.e. ball hog, lots of shots to get his points, etc.). Rally is right about Wall being a putrid shooter, but that is common for young guards in the NBA. But him putting up a 2.5 assists to TO ratio is very good.
2/14/2011 1:43:19 PM
A point guard who can shoot is more of a bonus than a necessity. Jason Kidd didn't have a J till he was was 30, and Rondo and Jennings are two of the biggest masons in the game. Set up everyone else, play solid and D and limit your fuck ups, and you're golden.

He has outplayed everyone else not on this list (a collection of backups and a few guys having truly HORRIBLE seasons whose teams probably wish would just break their leg i.e. Derek Fisher, Johnny Flynn, Randy Foye, Aaron Brooks, Mo Williams, and Gilbert Arenas)That's not that bad for a rookie, but let's not get carried away. He's easily one of the bottom tier starting PG's in the league right now. Granted, the league is pretty flush with talent at that position at the moment.Of the rookies who play significant minutes he's outplayed everyone except Blake Griffin, Landry Fields, Ed Davis, and Greg Monroe. He's dead even with Evan Turner. (You could also say Paul George has outplayed him but he doesn't get a ton of minutes.)So he's certainly not a bust by any means, but you can't hate on my 13-16 ppg, 40% FG, and amongst the leaders in turnovers prediction.Maybe he'll continue to evolve, but since he wasn't able to shoot from the perimeter or finish inside in college either I think these issues may continue to plague him at the pro level for quite some time.[Edited on February 15, 2011 at 10:44 PM. Jason kidd didn't have a j until he was 35
2/15/2011 11:08:11 PM
i like how badly Pau Gasol got abused last night...but he's a top 5 player in the NBA right
2/15/2011 11:22:50 PM
I'd like to see a list of all the power forwards that have outplayed Nene. Or is that list so exclusive that nobody would appear on it?
2/16/2011 12:08:06 AM
FG% is the most important stat ever, hence Nene is a superstar in today's NBA, despite the fact that no casual fan outside of Denver has heard of him, unless the 'Hilario' stood out to them before the name change
2/16/2011 12:22:42 AM
Nene is clearly one of the best big men in the game right now. He's having a monster season. When Carmelo leaves Denver you'll see who the real star of that team is.
