And the winner for the most obvious casting placement in history goes to...http://www.tvsquad.com/2009/05/28/joss-whedon-plans-to-put-summer-glau-on-dollhouse/
5/28/2009 2:06:18 PM
Well, I like Summer Glau so that makes me happy
5/28/2009 3:01:52 PM
Nice. maybe dollhouse is just a ploy to recreate firefly
5/29/2009 3:03:42 PM
The last four eps of last season were really good. I watched them all in a row.
5/31/2009 5:07:23 PM
So the rips of the DVDs have been out on the internet for 8 days now. Including the original unaired pilot and the unaired 13th episode, Epitaph One. I'm disappointed in myself for not knowing about this for 8 days and disappointed in TWW for someone not mentioning it here yet.
7/26/2009 5:50:06 PM
^are the unaired episodes any good?
7/26/2009 5:52:54 PM
I just found out about them a couple of minutes ago. I'll let you know in about 2 hours.

Yeah, so far it's um....pretty awesome.Although, it is so far out there, so much of a departure from the actual show, I'm not surprised at all that Fox didn't want to air it. It's kind of perfect the way it is. Give it to the fans to watch on DVD, but don't confuse the masses by airing it. Cause, believe me, if you aren't a fan of this show, this episode is very confusing. ]
7/26/2009 6:23:35 PM
That was seriously awesome. The whole episode was equal parts "Holy Shit" and "What the fuck just happened?" I just wonder ... well lots of stuff. Someone else watch it so we can talk about it plz.
7/26/2009 7:04:14 PM
Just finished with the unaired Pilot. I guess it's impossible to watch it and pretend like you don't already know what's going on, but I think they did a much better job of explaining what's going on, while still keeping things interesting. They also condensed the first 4-5 episodes into one, which you might think would be too much, but I didn't get that at all. It was far superior to the aired Pilot, in my opinion. I just can't imagine how awesome this show would be if Fox just set Joss Whedon loose instead of constantly telling him what's "best".
7/26/2009 8:31:50 PM
wow, that was crazy. a little Terminator, a little Matrix, a little Firefly (not sure how, really, but I got that vibe), and of course, a lot of awesome. I'm going to have to watch it again, I think, to work everything out. The little girl did a very good job. Usually actors that young are shit, but she was very, very good and had lots of subtleties. Amy Acker as Whiskey was also better than ever (a little bit of black eye shadow, more sultry hair, losing the scars, and a nightgown can do wonders). And, maybe it's not a coincidence, but it was the strongest episode of the show, and yet it mostly lacked Eliza Dushku, and the parts with her in it were not particularly strong. So, is this "canon" now? Or, maybe this is "one possibility," but the future can always be changed. What about the unaired pilot. Anyone seen that yet? oh, ^, makes sense[Edited on July 26, 2009 at 10:54 PM. Reason : .]

just watched the Pilot, and it is definitely one of the better episodes of the whole season. Easily the best, from what I recall, of the first 1/2 of the season, and on par with the last few eps. Watching it, though, I definitely got the feeling that it was never meant to be aired. Or rather, it was made with the purpose of "show us what you can do", then we'll go from there. So, several spoilers were put in and several plot lines that normally took at least half the season or more to unfold were put in just to show Fox what was coming. For example, Echo already showing signs of personality/memory would have definitely been too early to show. Same with Ballard getting so involved, meeting Echo/Caroline and getting shot - they definitely needed that to wait until well into the season. If I was trying to get someone to watch the show from the start, though, I would be tempted to have them watch this episode to show them the potential, then have them start from E01, but try to "ignore" some of the revelations they've already seen.

downloading episodes 1-13, is that all in season 1?

Tigh and Apollo to join the cast... woo!

bttt for tonight's premier.
9/25/2009 8:42:55 PM
I'm not digging DeWitt's new penis haircut. Why can't/won't they just reimage the original Dr Saunders imprint onto Whiskey. If having her know she is an active is causing such an issue, why not make her forget?
9/25/2009 9:09:45 PM
i'm wondering if they'll kidnap and reprogram Senator Wesley
9/26/2009 5:13:34 PM
i'm a bit confused as to what exactly Ballard is doing, and what's goign on with Echo, and who knows something's wrong with her, and why Topher isn't fixing her, etc etc etc
9/27/2009 11:20:44 PM
So just watched last weeks episode and this last episode.I have to say that Victor is by far the best active (actor) and he plays the most complex characters the best. All of Echo's characters are simple - especially this past weeks one. anyway, still love this show

Still enjoying the show, but it's not doing well ratings-wise. Might get dropped. Let's hope not, but I'm sure this is the last season.

huh, this makes sense, and makes the sequence of events in Eps 2 and 3 make more sense too
10/11/2009 2:29:13 PM
It's like FOX goes out of their way to destroy a show. Wait, no, yep, that's what they do.
10/11/2009 6:07:24 PM
damn, it's starting to get pretty good tooDAMN THIS SHOW IS BECOMING VERY INTERESTING, WE MUST DESTROY IT IMMEDIATELY
10/28/2009 8:05:02 AM
Fox has already pulled this show from their fall sweeps lineup meaning they have no faith in it. That being said, enjoy while you can because this will be another Whedon show to get the axe before it's prime.
10/28/2009 8:09:02 AM
Oh noooo Maybe another channel will pick it up? This is one of my favorite shows!!!
10/28/2009 5:46:03 PM
This past Friday's episode was the best of the season by far. This show is at it's best when Dushku's character isn't the main focus of the episode.
10/28/2009 6:50:43 PM
Annnnnd....now it gets canceled. http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/11/dollhouse-canceled.htmlhttp://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/11/11/this-just-in-dollhouse-axed/Not surprising, but still.... ]

Glee sucks but it makes Fox money from the iTunes sales of cover songs.
11/11/2009 9:53:02 PM
^^^ shut your whore mouth
11/11/2009 10:09:01 PM
I've never seen glee, but the name alone sounds gay as shit.sad to see dollhouse go...
11/12/2009 9:52:00 AM
It was stupid of them to pick up a second season in the first place, especially if they weren't going to do anything about Eliza Dushku being the lead character. If they'd re-established the show around a healed Victor (or even Alpha) it would've been a million times better. Just keep Dushku in the background for anytime you didn't have a decent plot and needed to inject some T&A.
11/12/2009 12:44:32 PM
Dollhouse was just a shitty drama that got people to watch it by having Eliza Dushku wander around in skimpy outfits.
11/12/2009 12:48:25 PM
just caught up for....nothing.
12/1/2009 2:23:36 PM
first and second of the last 9 episodes are this friday
12/1/2009 3:22:13 PM
wow.. no comments on victor/topher yet?Definitely the best part of the series so far.
12/5/2009 7:34:15 PM
^ haha, yeah I just got done watching that on hulu. They really matched them up to a "T". The clothes and the personalities just clicked.
12/6/2009 3:02:08 AM
that dude's a hell of an actor, i hope whedon does something else with him that lasts more than a season
