true, but there could have been another reason why. just don't know yet. I've done shopping late at night before, just recently did it, doesn't make me guilty of anything but not being able to sleep.

no one buys just bleach at 4amat least not "normal people" with houses, jobs, and families
7/16/2008 1:54:42 PM
^^^yeah i used to do all of my grocery shopping at 4am b/c i couldn't sleep and it was a lot faster and less annoying not having to deal with people^true...and it seems like if he did he would have said first thing "yes i did and this is why..." with some explanation or something[Edited on July 16, 2008 at 1:56 PM. true.. buying JUST bleach is weirdbut i mean if they've been having problems maybe he just couldn't sleep..
7/16/2008 1:56:13 PM
if he did buy bleach at 4 am and she went missing that morning...it's too suspect. if it's true then i def think it was him
7/16/2008 1:57:28 PM
panicking is a bitchthat's, just one of many reasons why you don't do really bad thingsmost people would never get away with iteither you'll do something stupid before, during, or aftercrimes, white-collar or otherwise... just don't even think about 'em[Edited on July 16, 2008 at 1:58 PM. If he was just not able to sleep and decided to buy some random thing as an excuse to get out of the house, then I can see that. NCSUGirl83, I still do a lot of my grocery shopping at night, for those same reasons you said. dunno, really hopin he didn't do it (for the daughters' sake).
7/16/2008 2:00:09 PM
doesn't look good though
7/16/2008 2:01:48 PM
no it doesnt
7/16/2008 2:13:48 PM
you can't ever trust those damn cisco people
7/16/2008 2:28:11 PM
some people have been posting some new info on the wral comments page. don't know where they get all their "info" or if it is true
7/16/2008 2:28:35 PM
yeah I know. it s always "i heard this" or "my best friend's sister's cousin heard that"
7/16/2008 3:18:34 PM
do tell
7/16/2008 3:19:08 PM
7/16/2008 3:23:29 PM

^ maybe the police knew more than just what they told the press?stranger things have happened.^^ Cass, i read somewhere that she was telling him she wanted him to move out of the house. we don't need to have drinking or arguments or even an accident.

oh man the comment section of wral is going all to hell. its almost crazy. I finally read them all, that's where the whole "buying bleach at 4am" thing started. at the entire wral comments board; they're batshit crazy. and yes, if I was paying the bills and she wanted me out, I say damn that; she can leave.
7/16/2008 9:12:22 PM
we got the same problem here, with the Seattle paper. their website for "comments" section is full of the most outrageous batshit lunatics i've ever fucking seen, on the left and on the right, and in the middle. its so painful to try read the comments section of newspaper forums, i don't even bother anymore. ... so everything i know about this cary jogger case, ive gotten from mainstream media articles and this website. its just amazing that TWW is more rational and thoughtful than the comment boards of major newspapers. but i guess i shouldnt be surprised.

fox news is covering the story right now and is interviewing the lady who reported her missing
7/16/2008 10:09:49 PM
^^ okay, yeah, i guess i can see that too. its not hard to imagine how something like that could happen and get out of control. especially when (if) alcohol's involved.and i agree with raiden's sentiment: "IF" my wife and I were having marital problems ... and "especially IF" she were having an affair... AND she wanted ME to move out yet i was the one paying >50% of the bills... I'd be like "fuck that", too.but, OTOH, maybe he cheated on her first, maybe he's been a total psycho or abusive or just a general loser abusing drugs or alcohol... a bad influence on the children ... in that case, she would have every right to make him leave for the children's sake. whatever it was, it's too bad things didnt get worked out like they should have.and yes, i'm pretty convinced he did it. if only because i have like 99% of historical probability on my side.[Edited on July 16, 2008 at 10:12 PM. that's all any of this is - speculation. i stopped reading the news after they determined it was her body because i knew the media would be hurrying to get out the latest "breaking news" only to make the story more convoluted. the way people latch onto the details and try to convict a man before he's even been named a suspect is sickening, but i know this country truly runs on a "guilty until proven innocent" process. i know brad and i'm holding out all hope that he's innocent.

haha sry, i can't help it. it's all incredibly upsetting - just imagine if it were a friend being thrown to the wolves
7/16/2008 10:14:38 PM
no, you're absolutely right. and i know it. and fox news knows it.but dammit, its just so much fun to speculate that Colonel Mustard did it in the Ballroom with the Candlestick.
7/16/2008 10:16:27 PM
its just that wral comments section is going batshit over the warrant to search the home and warrant for brad to give up dna and for cary pd wrapping the home in crime scene tape. I don't really find any of that to be all that sensational, to me it just seems like normal shit they (CPD) would do in a murder investigation. Of course the husband is gonna get looked at, hell, that's probably number 1 in the cop's playbook. after he's cleared then they go out and look for other people. that's they way I understand it anyways.
7/16/2008 10:24:15 PM
hehe.. ah well, like everyone else, though, i want this resolved ASAP. and fwiw, i think those commenting on WRAL's stories are the worst. "batshit crazy" is an understatement
7/16/2008 10:25:21 PM
yeahthey (cops) have stated that over and over on the news. they need to rule him out and that's what they're trying to do.whether it's true he's or not.. well, only they know[Edited on July 16, 2008 at 10:26 PM. Reason : asdf]

raiden is right. its a fact that every law enforcement agency knows, from the FBI on down .... the most likely perpetrator in a suspicious death is a friend or family member.it might as well be a law, because it's been tried and true ever since there was law enforcement to keep track of it. it's the way the world is, and you'd be a fool to bet against it.[Edited on July 16, 2008 at 10:44 PM. press conference this morning at 9am. wonder what they're gonna say.
7/17/2008 7:11:27 AM
7/17/2008 7:31:22 AM
probably
7/17/2008 7:33:00 AM
they're asking questions of her familythis shit is going to turn into a circus
7/17/2008 9:04:05 AM
I love the Cary Police. They probably pulled out their old textbooks for this one.

^^^ Well, the Cary Police Department certainly won't be able to claim any shit like low salaries--they're very well compensated there. And I wonder about the politics in Cary--I mean, something weird happened with the former police chief just a few months ago. . .Cary Police Chief Discusses Sudden Departure http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/2170476/I hope this doesn't turn out like the Boulder Police Department and the JonBenet Ramsey case.
7/17/2008 9:23:30 AM
ok does the 9 am news conference have a purpose other than to be a memorial for the wife?or just for dragging her family through the media wringer.a question at the news conference: Did she ever call and tell you about southern sweet tea [Edited on July 17, 2008 at 9:31 AM. Reason : .]
7/17/2008 9:29:50 AM
wtf reporters?, they're asking about sweet tea and BBQ to the family?
7/17/2008 9:30:50 AM
They said they were not answering any questions today from the press.
7/17/2008 9:31:41 AM
they're answering ?'s about sweet tea, BBQ and baseball games. OH and how if canada views this incident as making america a dangerous place to live.
7/17/2008 9:33:24 AM
this must be really awkward for brad, especially if he didn't do it. imagine it. because just as many of us here and the crazies on the wral board have thought it i'm sure many of their neighborhood "friends" have thought the same. I guess its in times like these you learn who your true friends are and hopefully you don't ruin that by being a murdering husband.
7/17/2008 9:35:35 AM
true. I did miss the first 30mins of the press conference, did they reveal anything other than her parents like sweet tea and NC BBQ?
