lol, great ending
11/2/2008 9:55:37 PM
didn't we see bill talking to that dog at one point or was it just a similar dog - it's been pretty obvious that he's a dog/werewolf for quite some time
11/2/2008 10:00:50 PM
yeah theres either another dog or another person that can do the same because sam has been seen petting a similar dog
11/2/2008 10:11:35 PM
How is the transition from book to tv? Are they leaving much out/changing lots? Or is it pretty much exact/dead on like 30 days of night?
11/3/2008 10:31:57 AM
you'd think they would've at least mad the dog a husky or something remotely wolf-like, as opposed to the sheepish little terrier or whatever it is
11/3/2008 10:38:17 AM
^^ From my understanding it is changing a decent amount from the books but sticking to the core storyline, mostly just expanding other characters subplots and stuff.Asking again - How far into the books is the series right now? Is it still on the first book? 2nd? etc?
11/3/2008 10:56:31 AM
good episode. plz to keep lizzy around more...shes awesome. cant wait to find out how twisted she really is
11/3/2008 11:03:26 AM
I would've liked some explanation as to how Bill killed the vampire... I thought the stake through the heart only worked if the vampire was weakened. Maybe different rules apply when a vampire kills another vampire?
11/3/2008 11:17:38 AM
^Yeah it is probably different for vampire vs. vampire. Bill is a lot stronger than a human so he could probably drive the stake further.
11/3/2008 11:24:26 AM
i love how every different vampire movie (or series in this case) has their own interpretations to the 'rules of the vampire'....from reactions to silver, reflections in the mirror, crucifixes, to Hep B for christ sake....I too am a fan of lizzy; it's just hard to take her seriously with her top on
11/3/2008 1:20:30 PM
1st book still. We find out who the killer is just before the end of book one.
11/3/2008 1:43:20 PM
i wanna do bad thinnnnnngs to you
11/3/2008 2:09:11 PM
***not reading this page at all***gonna watch episode 9 on demand tonight, can't wait episode 8 ended with such a wonderful shock!
11/3/2008 2:40:15 PM
11/3/2008 5:34:31 PM
^exactly. I think it would be a nice job to come up with trippy sex scenes involving a hot chick.
11/3/2008 10:49:33 PM
episode 9 was awesome. i'm so happy they finally confirmed my suspicions that sam was the dog. now the question is - what will bill's punishment be? i can't believe there's only 3 episodes left in the season.
11/3/2008 11:09:02 PM
If you read the novels, you would have known that he was a shapeshifter.
11/4/2008 12:57:28 AM
^sounds likes someone is asking for a banning
11/4/2008 1:22:41 AM
11/4/2008 7:42:06 AM
So what you're saying is all of those unimportant characters you just mentioned have nothing to do with the murders. Thanks for the spoilers, bitch.
11/4/2008 8:10:01 AM
um no, I wasn't saying that at all. So stop being a douche.
11/4/2008 8:12:40 AM
I'm glad they came out and made it obvious that Sam was able to turn into a dog. I was worried they were going to give us all these blatent clues/foreshadowing and then try to pull the rug out from under us with something lame.
11/4/2008 12:01:57 PM
Please no book spoilers you sonofabitches.
11/5/2008 12:04:02 PM
I don't think there were any spoilers on this page at all. people asked about the books not the show, and for clarification on plots. Meh
11/5/2008 12:13:07 PM
hmmm, couple wtf momentswere they killing or turning that girl, and, either way, why were they doing it? just for kicks or did she do something?wtf was that woman in the road and what was with her?
11/9/2008 10:02:58 PM
i thought she was with a pig from the sound of iti assume there is more to the turning process and that is supposed to be the cliffhanger - otherwise there wasn't a huge cliffhanger like every other episodeoverall one of my least favorite episodes
11/9/2008 10:05:06 PM
I think that woman in the road had a pig with her.
11/9/2008 10:48:09 PM
11/9/2008 11:32:49 PM
the black chick on true blood is smokin.
11/10/2008 12:22:20 AM
If you slow motion the scene with Sookie in the dark bar at about the point where the killer pops up from the other side of the bar and grabs her it's pretty obvious who it is
11/10/2008 3:11:32 AM
^^you might be gayshe prob has bigger biceps and broader shoulders than you
11/10/2008 8:11:59 AM
The black is alright...but would definitely be much hotter if she wasn't so buff. I mean...she's not even thick...she's "solid." She does have the potential to be hot (although I'd tape her fucking mouth shut with that accent).
11/10/2008 9:01:18 AM
Is this going to be running for more than one season? If so, do you think we find out who the killer is this season?
11/10/2008 9:03:37 AM
I thought last night's episode was by far the best one of the season. Tons of drama and good story lines going on.I really, really hate this hippie chick. I hope she goes down in flames soon.
11/10/2008 9:47:33 AM
I mean theres only so many people left who could be the killer. Sam looked like a good candidate a while ago but not anymore obviously after last night. I think they are setting it up to be a more minor character, the other guy who works in the bar seems to be ideal in my opinion. I hadn't put the connection together before that he was related to the cop, but the mention of the Balfours being an old family last night seems to be a good clue. Maybe they have a history of being anti vampire and are taking it out on women who sleep with vamps.
11/10/2008 10:52:08 AM
Maybe the cop is the killer? I can't really see much motivation behind it, but it would be unexpected.
11/10/2008 11:32:11 AM
Yeah, the guy who is the cousin/(brother?) to the cop and works at the bar seems like a good candidate. Maybe even the cajun guy marrying the redhead, that would be a surprise and he plays a role that is minor, but large enough to get a feel for him. I think I may download it and try to find a frame where I can tell during the attack at the bar.
11/10/2008 11:35:54 AM
unless they are going to do one of those infuriating things where they lead you to believe the killer is someone who know, then say OH HEY, NO, IT IS THIS OTHER PERSON WHO IS EXTREMELY FRINGE OR COMPLETELY NEW, unless that, then there are only 2-3 candidates, i would say (sorry for the run-on).i think the only male characters left that havent essentially been exonerated are the 2 cops (the sheriff counting as fringe at this point), renee, the third guy in the renee/jason/? combo, and the veteran at the bar.i guess jason could still be a suspect in his grandmother's death (as hinted at in the preview for next week) but i think he can be eliminated for the others. that said, i guess it is obvious that grandmother killer and killer of other women are not necessarily the same person, but still could be...
11/10/2008 8:38:41 PM
11/12/2008 9:33:23 AM
Well so far we know there are vampires, shape shifters and werewolfs. Though based on Sam's description of a werewolf I wonder if they are just shape shifters gone wrong in the trueblood world. Also keep in mind Sookie has to be something as well, theres no way she is a normal human.
11/12/2008 9:58:40 AM
took me to the woman talking to balfour before i realized she was the one in the road, i guess she is the devil?[Edited on November 16, 2008 at 10:02 PM. Reason : so renee? motive? crazy?]
11/16/2008 9:56:56 PM
^^ i assume its in her blood line but that she isn't necessarily 'something'. but i think the non-humans can all sense it.
11/17/2008 1:21:30 PM
so Rene (cajun guy) is actually Drew Marshall? The brother of the girl that got murdered from the pie place...
11/17/2008 2:56:36 PM
^ Yeah, apparantly he doesn't like women comingling with vampires... which would explain why he's been giving sookie a hard time for being with Bill. Also, Jason was telling him that Amy is using V and has probably been with vampires, which would explain why Rene would want to kill her
11/17/2008 3:10:55 PM
I haven't read the entire thread or anything, but has anyone mentioned how good the title sequence is? HBO generally has some good ones, especially with The Wire, but this one is the best. Its pretty creepy but perfect for this show.
11/17/2008 4:41:54 PM
so the "social worker" was the woman with the pig right? season finale should be crazy
11/17/2008 5:45:26 PM
I thought Rene was the only sane person on this entire show
11/17/2008 5:53:36 PM
Just finished watching last night's episode. I gotta say, I didn't see it being Rene. Interesting twist. Now I can't wait for the finale!
11/17/2008 10:05:03 PM
obviously he didnt kill the grandmotheroh yeah -- word up on admiral cain and ro laren's tits joining the show.[Edited on November 18, 2008 at 1:19 AM. Reason : .]
11/18/2008 1:07:38 AM
^what makes you think he didn't kill the grandmother? how is that "obvious"?
11/22/2008 10:12:25 PM
