CNN might have, probably would have covered it less had we not stooped to that. But still local & statewide news agencies were paying attention too. We could have raised a local issue like teacher pay, or local agriculture in global trade, or health care concerns like what do college students who are off their parents plan but not yet on their own plan & who don’t have a lot of money or full time job yet do & how will that be affected by this campaigns health care plans, or voiced an opinion on the bio & ag defense facility possibly moving to the triangle area, or asking when do North Carolinians in the army get to come home, or any number of other local issues. We could have challenged them on an issue we disagree with about their campaign.

We had a chance, and we blew it in my opinion. But as the primary gets closer the big hitters will be around more, lets not blow it again. It's not often North Carolina gets to matter in a presidential primary. And we almost never are a swing state in a presidential election. So this is probably as big as this state gets to be politically for a long time. Lets not waste our a few chances to raise issues important to our state.

i'm not ugly!!!!! but i'm technically not a democrat. if i had to choose between the two parties that i am so forced to choose between, i GUESS i'd be a democrat. but not really. i think i hopped over the line between acceptable american parites and non acceptable parties long ago.
