imo you just owned yourself. its pretty funny how you point out all their final four and title game appearances when UCLA has them beat in both.[Edited on December 18, 2007 at 11:44 AM. Reason : ]

don't think i didn't notice how you failed to label a few losing seasons as BAD YEARs either.
12/18/2007 11:44:45 AM
12/18/2007 11:45:53 AM
aww thats so cute how he listed "NCAA First Round" every single time UNC made the tourney and lost their first game to a 15 seed, but when UCLA makes the tourney he only lists it if its a Final Four or a Championship^^yeah 7-9 isnt a bad year at UNC, but 14-12 is a bad year at UCLA...sounds like he's holding UCLA to a higher standard, and they're STILL the better program]
12/18/2007 11:51:15 AM
lol, we're all getting trolled so hard.god dammit.
12/18/2007 12:00:19 PM
i think unc and ucla both have around 39 ncaa appearances? i dont have time to count.anyways, ucla only has 5 appearances where they were less than sweet sixteen and unc has 11. yet another thing ucla has better than unc.hopefully im right gotta run
12/18/2007 12:00:29 PM
i've been in conference calls all afternoon and have a shitload of work to catch up on cause I was arguing with yall n00bs all morning longI'm about to get back on here in a couple hours and finish up and do work on this argument so you will see that it takes more than championships to be considered the best team ever
12/18/2007 2:01:26 PM
hopefully you can make an argument or two before you're suspended

What does that have to do with anything?
12/18/2007 3:08:42 PM
what do any of daddytime's posts in this thread have to do with anything?this thread isnt about consistent mediocrity...its about GREATEST..greatest is winning titles...not consistently making the ncaa tourney and losing in the 2nd round...thats not what the "GREATEST SPORTS TEAM" does...they win titles...lots and lots of national titles...that is what they dothe Indianapolis Colts have won at least 12 games for the past 5 seasons..are they a greater team than the Patriots? Or are the Patriots a greater team since they have won MULTIPLE titles in that period of time[Edited on December 18, 2007 at 3:12 PM. Reason : .]

Carolina HAS one MANY NCAA Championships4 is a shitloadits the 3rd most all timeWinning a lot of championships in a concentrated period of time doesn't make you the greatest program EVERCarolina has proven themselves in post season-playUNC has been the number one seed in the NCAA Tournament 11 times, the latest being in 2007 (most #1 seeds all-time)[1]. UNC has been in the Sweet Sixteen 27 times, the latest being in 2007. The 27 appearances is the all-time NCAA record[2]. UNC has been to the Final Four 16 times (2nd all-time). UNC has been ranked in the top 25 616 times (1st all-time). UNC has beaten #1 teams a record 11 times UNC has the most consecutive 20-win seasons, with 31.
12/18/2007 4:01:29 PM
12/18/2007 4:04:34 PM
You gotta have some Carolina in you if you own property inside the beltline
12/18/2007 4:10:07 PM
so why were you playing the role of a state fan who despised carolina? did you think we were a bunch of dumb rednecks who wouldnt see right through your baby blue faggotry since your first post? is the only reason state fans wouldnt say UNC is #1 in basketball because we dont like UNC? or maybe UCLA actually is the best program? and maybe the only reason JayBee puts Kentucky over UCLA is cause he's an SEC homer?Dean "The Rednosed Drunk" Smith is John "Big Big Diamonds" Wooden's bitch]
12/18/2007 4:13:17 PM
Dean Smith's players have made more money the John Wooden's
12/18/2007 4:24:47 PM
you'd think with all that money Dean could've bought more than 2 titles in 36 years
12/18/2007 4:28:25 PM
magine what coack K coulda done with a name like UNCHell he's about to turn duke into the best basketball program of all time if he lives 30 more yearsDean Smith wasn't THAT great of a coachHe was just the first to recruit black people and good post players
12/18/2007 4:31:15 PM
good post players? like who? UCLA easily pwns UNC in that categorycourse you probably thought the NBA's all time leading scorer was Jordan
12/18/2007 4:34:08 PM
I'm pretty sure Wooden's players had higher salaries at UCLA than Dean's did at UNC... probably nicer free cars too.
12/18/2007 4:36:53 PM
yeah UNC players didnt really get nicer cars than UCLA players until Jordan opened his dealership
12/18/2007 4:39:32 PM
talking bout east coast numb nutsBilly CunninghamEric MontrossSam PerkinsSerge Zwikker (don't say shit, he was redshirted 93, and made 2 final fours, maybe 3 while playing)Brad DaughertyRusty Clark
12/18/2007 4:39:36 PM
You left off probably the greatest one... James Worthy^^ I'm just saying... it's pretty well known that UCLA's payroll rivaled that of any NBA team during that time period..[Edited on December 18, 2007 at 4:42 PM. Reason : was it sam gilbert who was UCLA's de facto "GM"]
12/18/2007 4:41:08 PM
i wouldnt exactly call Worthy a post playerKareem and Walton though...those are some post players
12/18/2007 4:41:46 PM
12/18/2007 4:42:52 PM
12/18/2007 4:44:06 PM
when i think post player I think Center...Worthy was an athletic big but thats really just splitting hairswhen i think of the best college post players I think of people like Kareem and Chamberlain...not Big Game James
12/18/2007 4:45:03 PM
So it was pretty known that UCLA used to hook their players upI mean i know all teams do it in some shape or fashionBut was UCLA's history of doing it worse than other schools? (or at least more known)?
12/18/2007 4:45:28 PM
82 heelsJimmy Black -1Jordan -2Worthy -3Doherty -4Perkins -5
12/18/2007 4:48:23 PM
funny how dean and jordan couldnt win in 83
12/18/2007 4:49:14 PM
Lorenzo Charles and Thurl Baily dog
12/18/2007 4:50:02 PM
i just figured if UNC was such a great program like you say they were...I mean State knocked off UCLA in 74, but UCLA at least got to the final 4 after winning the previous season...UNC couldnt get back to the final four, even with the great Michael Jordan
12/18/2007 4:51:06 PM
Mike Jordan was a fairly swag Player of the YearHow could Jalen, Juwan, and C-web not beat the likes of Brian Reece, Derrick Phelps and Kevin Salvadori in 93
12/18/2007 4:54:02 PM
Donald Williams was pretty goodoh yeah and Webber threw the gamecourse iirc UCLA won it again in 1975...wow multiple decades with multiple titlesI bet UNC-CH wishes they could've won multiple national titles in a single decade like UCLA did on multiple occasions]
12/18/2007 4:55:14 PM
How could JJ Hickson HIMSELF not beat fucking ECUcrazy shit fucking happens in College basketball
12/18/2007 4:55:56 PM
you sure do have an inferiority complex against UCLA dont youjust face it, they're the best college basketball program of all time and always will be
12/18/2007 4:57:07 PM
12/18/2007 5:00:44 PM
good now if they could only win 1 more title they'd have almost half as many as UCLA
12/18/2007 5:01:45 PM
12/18/2007 5:02:20 PM
12/18/2007 5:04:59 PM
I've never heard anyone say "man, where the hell has Carolina been this whole time, I havn't seen them play this good in years"Can't say the same for UCLA
12/18/2007 5:06:10 PM
I agree that Carolina should be ahead of UCLA... but Kentucky is ahead of Carolina
12/18/2007 5:07:32 PM
UCLA had 10 all jumbled up than a stray ed obannon coast to coast fluke in 95thats not spread out
12/18/2007 5:07:46 PM
Where has UCLA been? In the Final Four last year for one thing, while the Tarheels had one of the worst end-of-game collapses in NCAA history against the Hoyas...or as most people call it "pulling a UNC"but who cares about Final Fours or titles? Its all about making the tourney for 27 straight years...THAT is the most impressive stat in all of sports^^shut your SEC biased mouth^UCLA dominated entire decades...DOMINATED...and you mention the word 'fluke' with them? UNC relied on a completely retarded Georgetown guard's turnover in 82, they relied on point shaver in 93, and they relied on the refs to not calling travelling on them against Villanova in the most recent championship seasonUNC has never dominated like UCLA...nobody has, and nobody will again[Edited on December 18, 2007 at 5:10 PM.
