I'm sure they've seen it so many times. Mizzou will take care of that! [Edited on November 25, 2007 at 12:30 AM. Reason : Eh, I don't feel like applying for access even though I'm a member of Pack Pride]

lets go over those penalties in the Tenn/Kentucky game again.2nd overtime:Tennessee is on offense first, throws an INTKentucky get the ball, runs 3 plays, attempts a game winning FGFG is blocked, Baby Jesus (Eric Berry) is running back the block and is completely yanked down by his face maskPersonal foul against Kentucky, but since its the end of an overtime round it doesnt count, doesnt carry over to the 3rd overtime3rd overtime:Kentucky first on offense, scores, failed two point conversionTennessee get the ball, scores, failed two point conversionArian Foster is frustrated/pissed, throws the ball after the conversionPersonal foul against Tennessee, it DOES carry over to the next overtime. What am I missing? Both were personal foul 15 yard penaltiesBoth were at the end of an overtime periodBoth were by teams that then got the ball at the start of the next overtime[Edited on November 25, 2007 at 12:40 AM. The only thing I could think of would be the whole change of possession thing that one guy earlier said. Other than that I couldn't tell ya
11/25/2007 12:44:36 AM
one was after the play and one wasn't. ^ But kentucky chose the option to back Tenn up instead of taking it when they got the ball.[Edited on November 25, 2007 at 12:45 AM. Reason : ]

^ yeah, only thing I could think of is that one was a "dead ball" foul, and the other wasnt. So you are saying that Kentucky could have saved that penalty basically for when they had the ball and and started on the 10 yard line?^^ that shouldnt matterbut hell, if someone is running your shit back in overtime, send the whole bench after them and kick the guy in the crotch, the penalty wont carry over[Edited on November 25, 2007 at 12:47 AM. mizzou vs wvu is going to be an amazing championship gameand nobody is going to watch...we're talking Giants/Angels w.s. ratings...
11/25/2007 12:56:35 AM
the way the ref said it, it sounded like kentucky chose to go ahead and assess the penalty rather than waiting. The whole penalty thing carrying over between overtimes is sketchy at best, cause I see each OT as just starting the game over.
11/25/2007 12:57:17 AM
yeah, it just blows my mind that you can have completely illegal, and potentially dangerous, activities in a game with ZERO reparations
11/25/2007 1:00:56 AM
I bet that Hansen dude from Charlotte feels pretty stupid picking the Heels over Mizzou now.
11/25/2007 5:42:23 AM
the National Championship game will be Zzzzzz, but a lot of the other games will be badass...USC, LSU, UGA, VT, Oklahoma
11/25/2007 4:28:14 PM
You don't like watching WVU and Mizzou on offense? They are some of the best offenses in the country to watch IMO. How could you not like them?I think it will be tOSU playing WVU though... and I think WVU wins HANDILY considering no one on the Big 10 can stop a spread offense.
11/25/2007 4:29:50 PM
meh, just doesnt do it for me, I think its because in my opinion both of those teams would probably lose to LSU, USC and Oklahoma but I agree that they "deserve" to be in the game... but I see it being WV/Ohio State too which would still be the same thing to me...[Edited on November 25, 2007 at 4:33 PM. Mizzou will lose to OK in the championship game.....Sam Bradford is back after that loss at Tech and OK will want to prove themselves against Mizzou for a BCS berth.
