is he one of those women supressers?
12/29/2007 3:33:23 AM
Sorry mathman, after Bush, it's entirely plausible to dislike a candidate for their lack of intelligence, several of which are shown in your reasons.
12/29/2007 9:46:25 AM
gotta love his new ads in Iowa ... "Stop picking on me Romney, lets be nice" Backing up your own positions is probably a better strategy then just telling someone to play nice. Had they been dishonest attacks (from romney) then you might have something more to fuss about, but all he did was point out the obvious holes in huckabee's platform
12/29/2007 1:21:37 PM
george w bush has some really bad hindsight imo
12/29/2007 1:30:18 PM
I loved watching him try to backpedal about claiming Packistani's were the largest illegal immigrant population
12/29/2007 1:47:00 PM
yeah, his lack of preparation is pretty obvious in the recent weeks mishaps ...I think people are starting to wake up to the many ways he is lacking ... but he will still keep many of the zealots he has converted over the past month .... his victory in Iowa will depend solely on how many of them he can keep fogged over for the remaining days.
12/29/2007 1:53:12 PM
iowa aint shit...new hamspire is where its at...what direction are independents going in nh? iowa has too many bible people
12/29/2007 1:54:25 PM
Yeah, thats a good point ... but if huck looses iowa, its over immediately for him ...(which is my prediction)I think we will see mcain and romney come down to the wire in NH, with paul finishing stronger than in iowa... Everything is still very open there though
12/29/2007 2:02:49 PM
honestly i think romney deserves to lose for putting as much of his own money into it as he hasi hope mccain wins in nh
12/29/2007 2:04:49 PM
I dont agree that using your own money to fund a campaign makes you "deserving to lose" ...I think its what you stand for that determines what you deserve or dont deserve. With that in mind, I dont think Mcain has come out as "deserving" of anything particularly, and just saying that he is the default best choice due to everyone else's shortcomings is a pretty rediculous way to decide on a nominee, especially when in doing so, you are ignoring that persons negatives as well.I dont agree with Mcain on Immigration and taxes, and those are huge things to me. While a good patriot, I think hes lost it in terms of ability to move the country forward.BUT -- it doesnt really matter ... Dems win in 08, unfortunately.
12/29/2007 2:09:36 PM
nah the world needs a democrat so bad right now...democrats as president in 08>> anyone running for repub pres in 08
12/29/2007 2:17:24 PM
Yeah, we need someone with a different letter behind their name to threaten to bomb Iran and alienate our allies - they'll be so punk'd!
12/29/2007 2:29:50 PM
haha what kind of dream world do you live in?
12/29/2007 2:45:15 PM
The one where Hillary is the front-runner for the Democratic nomination. Or did I just miss something?
12/29/2007 3:07:23 PM
Hillary hasn't been the front runner for awhile.
12/29/2007 3:18:49 PM
the smart people in america know that barack obama is far and beyond the best dem candidate that is in the top tier
12/29/2007 3:21:41 PM
you are making me laugh now Josh.
12/29/2007 3:22:50 PM
you should be hoping obama gets nominated and then he wins president...if so i owe you 50 bucks...we posted about that a long time ago
12/29/2007 3:25:20 PM
I don't remember that at all. I will take Obama if I have to, but Iowa just might break how I want it to.
12/29/2007 3:27:46 PM
i kinda want mccain to win it all honestly...i mean i really like dems and everything but damn if i dont want hillary to win...it will be more of the same shit we have now...i'd rather obama win than hillary but i figure hillary is gonna get the nod
12/29/2007 3:31:37 PM
Right now, there is no evidence to suggest Hillary will get the nod.
12/29/2007 3:32:26 PM
i think mccain versus obama, mccain wins...mccain versus hillary will be like 50/50...unless you are counting in john edwards, which would probably be almost 50/50 with mccain winning imo
12/29/2007 3:37:19 PM
Why do you keep talking about Hillary and McCain?
12/29/2007 3:39:25 PM
because romney, huckabee, guilliani, and thompson dont have a chance
12/29/2007 3:50:37 PM
you have provided some of the worst political insight I have ever seen.
12/29/2007 3:57:48 PM
lol which of those i just put do you think has a chance to win?
12/29/2007 3:58:52 PM
the nomination?
12/29/2007 4:11:19 PM
yeah
12/29/2007 4:14:51 PM
Damn, this thread is reading like and AIM conversation.oMfG 14/F/NC HeRe!!!1
12/29/2007 4:21:49 PM
Romney and Huckabee has some of the best chances to win the nomination.
12/29/2007 6:24:02 PM
i hope u are right cause dems would whip that ass in an election
12/29/2007 6:25:37 PM
Nationally Hillary is about double(45%) than Obama, who is around 22%....Super Tuesday will seal it for her, and the latest polls has her ahead of both Obama and Edwards in Iowa(though barily) Forget about the college students AT HOME Obama....Edwards tried that way back when and it was predicted soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many would vote for him and it failed...they just dont vote in primaries and most are out of state and I seriously doubt they will come back to vote for Obama on their vacation. Nutsmacker, I dont know what polls you are reading about nationally, but Hillary has a commanding lead nationally(having 45% at this stage most politicans would envy)...hell, GOP the three front runners are around 20% each nationally....if anything, this has grown lately, her lead nationally hasnt change very much for months.
12/29/2007 6:46:34 PM
Here is a Clue, National Polls don't mean shit. If Hillary loses Iowa, which I firmly believe she will, she'll not get the nomination. Furthermore, Obama is not relying upon college students to caucus. He is using college students as campaign workers. Plus, Edwards has gotten strong Union endorsements in a strongly unionized state. He learned the errors of '04 and is now going with the rural strategy. It takes much less people in Rural Iowa to get a precinct than it does the urban areas by a 2 to 1 margin.
12/29/2007 7:41:56 PM
edwards and obama have way less experience than clinton, and if repubs go with mccain, dems GOT to put up someone that is on his level...if clinton comes in 3rd that doesnt mean she is gone, she could still come in first in nh cause no one really knows where the independants will go...i'm pretty sure clinton was the comeback kid there in 92...huckabee versus edwards, huckabee versus obama, huckabee versus clinton, go with dems all the way...same with mormon guy...same with thompson guy....guillani guy may cause split within repub core...mccain is still fairly liked....i see it as mccain hillary cause mccain is the candidate i feel could pull the biggest repub vote against a dem in 08, and hil is the best candidate to go against him(edwards hasnt really dont shit...senate once, then runs in 2004....obama been in senate once...middle name hussein doesnt help...in conclusion i dont see how it can be anything but clinton/mccain
12/29/2007 7:54:45 PM
every fragment of your statement includes so many crazy assumptions ... Just stop replying for a while and maybe the rest of us can stop wasting our time reading through your garbage ... really ... we get the point ... you want McCain ... its clear ... thanks
12/30/2007 2:30:41 PM
FUCKabee With his dominating Iowa victory, I hereby officially sever all ties with the GOP.to quote myself from back in November:
1/3/2008 9:37:11 PM
Huckabee v. Hillary in 2008 means the end of the world
1/3/2008 9:44:15 PM
I'd vote for Hillary over Fuckabee.Hell, I'd vote for Kucinich over Fuckabee. Srsly.
1/3/2008 9:45:36 PM
i'd vote for anyone over a preacher anydays
1/3/2008 9:48:09 PM
ahahahahahaha, republicans getting behind a fiscal liberal and social conservative in force
1/3/2008 9:52:52 PM
If he can get the fairtax in, he will have my vote.
1/3/2008 9:55:38 PM
If he can fly around the world with paper mache wings, he'll get my vote.[Edited on January 3, 2008 at 9:59 PM. Reason : gullible]
1/3/2008 9:58:38 PM
If GOP's want a winning candidate they better pick someone beside Fuckabee.I'd vote hillary and even Romney (in a primary) over Huckabee. If Romney can win enough votes to win Govenor in a liberal state like MA. he gets positive points in my book. On the other hand i count AK has -100 points.
1/3/2008 10:05:23 PM
isn't this dude MORE religious than BUSH?and even LESS fiscally responsible?fucking hell, how'd this happen[Edited on January 3, 2008 at 10:08 PM. Reason : ,]
1/3/2008 10:08:00 PM
Really, Iowa?Really?
1/3/2008 10:10:30 PM
I am less than happy with my current impression of his fiscal policy, I haven't researched his position so I am not sure if I'm just a victim of spin though,That said, I was disappointed in his answer about why he changed from a pastor to a politician... he said something along the lines of "helping people" on the Tonight Show with Leno, I would be much happier if he had said more about reducing the size of government. Of course his support of the fair tax is notable. But, it worries me he thinks that the role of the federal government is somehow to help people like a pastor does. Maybe its a good thing to say to communicate that you care to the common man, but we really need someone to champion self-reliance first. There is some Rush/Huckabee rift I don't quite follow entirely... I heard about half of Rush's explanation about it. Reading between the lines I'd say Rush is not a fan of Huck, but as far as I can tell he doesn't particularly care for any of the rest of them either.
1/3/2008 10:12:13 PM
I've always voted republican, but if it came down to Obama vs. Huckabee good chance that will change.
1/3/2008 10:29:49 PM
