If the Lakers don't make a splash for Garnett or Nowitzki then I'd expect Kobe to opt out of his contract in two years.I wouldn't be surprised if the Bulls make a play for him or perhaps the Clippers again.Early rumors have Shaq being traded to Dallas for Dampier & Devin Harris. I tend to think this would be a good deal for both teams as clearly the Mavericks aren't happy standing pat and Miami seems eager to dump Shaq.Nowitzki for Garnett has been mentioned but that seems stupid. I fail to see how either team really improves there.Obviously, Bynum + something for Garnett is in the works but I don't know if that deal gets done.

Shaq will retire a heat Kobe will retire a laker

i havent read past the first paragraph, but why weren't duncan and mcgrady mentioned in the first paragraph??mcgrady basically saved the rockets season when yao got hurt. he couldnt pull them through in the playoffs and that is a strike against but he was also competing against a better team than dirk and generally performed better in the playoffs than dirk or kobe.of course, duncan is basically ALWAYS an mvp candidate, and he plays well in the playoffs.

They don't want to piss Shaq off in case they cant find any takers. But if the right offer comes along they'd love to get rid of Shaq. Riley was bashing Shaq pretty hard at the end of the season "maybe we should only pay him $10 million if he's only gonna play half the season"If they could get Dampier and Devin Harris for him they should take that deal.

Nash really stunk up the joint yesterday.Marion kept them in the game. Amare was in foul trouble the entire game and that really limited what Nash was able to do since he was ice cold shooting. You can't say with a straight face that Steve Nash is a better basketball player than Tim Duncan. He is having an incredible series thus far. I thought Duncan had lost a step after the way he played in the Finals two years ago (great against Dallas last year tho) but its lookign like he just needed a chance to get healthy again. Utterly dominant post player.Good to see Manu getting back to normal again.Nash needs to step up big time in Game 4. They can't win when he's being outplayed by Parker.

Christ dude just stop. Your posts arent even sports related anymore.Im saying how can you go on and on about Steve Nash when he was probably the 5th best player on the court yesterday.Tim Duncan is an MVP type player, not Steve Nash.

^So basically you like anyone that wins??? Is that what you are trying to say. You never bring anything to the table.

Chauncy Billups = Tom Brady
5/14/2007 3:34:48 PM
^^ What are you talking about?? The man before me was saying how Duncan was more of a MVP type player than nash and I just used a pic to illustrate his comment
5/14/2007 5:15:12 PM
AND ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!!!!!!! WAY TO GO RAJA. WE RIDE FOR OUR HOMIES!!!FACT
5/15/2007 12:29:20 AM
HAHA are you serious.. Nash put up MVP numbers AGAIN...fuck the haters
5/15/2007 12:31:48 AM
He came from behind and victored. If that isn't MVP calibur, then I dont know what is. He is a true champion. Truth be told.[Edited on May 15, 2007 at 12:34 AM. Reason : .]

too bad he won't get MVP

5/15/2007 12:40:50 AM
Hey now man. Im a Nash fan, but I won't go as far as to say that. You keep that racist crap out of here.
5/15/2007 12:42:52 AM
lol the Nash lovers come out of the woodwork. The fact of the matter is that Parker outplayed Nash again for much of the game. Those guys have pretty much been interchangeable through the series.Nash had a really good first quarter but then he was invisible in the 2nd and 3rd. He made some plays in the 4th, but he finished the game with 8 turnovers including back to back ones down the stretch. In reality, Amare made the plays that won this game. Kurt Thomas had a big impact by hitting jumpers and defending Duncan without a double team. The Suns benefitted from a lot of questionable calls (i realize the Spurs got the calls in Game 1, so its even now) that kept them in the game when they were struggling and then they made all the plays late when Duncan just didn't react well to the defensive strategy switch (immediately doubling when he caught it)Ginobili had another bad game and Tim Duncan had a rough 2nd half after a great 1st half.It was a great game to watch, but we'll see how Nash performs in Game 5 particularly if Amare gets suspended. Based on the precedents that have been set he should be suspended, although I hope he isn't because I don't like the way its ruled. If both Diaw and Amare are suspended then the Suns are really in trouble in this series.
5/15/2007 12:42:59 AM
Amare won't be suspended, troll. He's exempt because he was checking into the game. Did you not hear that? And how will the spurs fair without Rob?????The spurs are a bunch of dirty playing thugs with no respect for the game. The only reason they won were due to horrific ref calls. Not talent and gameplay.Kudos to Parker and Ginobli.[Edited on May 15, 2007 at 12:47 AM. Reason : .]

our boy nash is actually pale without a year-round tan
5/15/2007 12:57:37 AM
In reality, Amare made the plays that won this game dunks/layups that nash put on a silver platter for him
5/15/2007 1:11:51 AM
lol, yeah that one he nailed in Duncan's face was really on a platter. Any idiot could have made that one.And anyone coulda scaled Tim Duncan and unleashed that monster jam on the putback.Amare would be the same player with any legitimate point guard. He was a beast before Nash came to the Suns.
5/15/2007 1:27:50 AM
it is amare's inability to stay out of foul trouble that has hurt the suns this seriesand he played 2 years in phoenix without nash...sure he would have developed fine without nash, but i'm sure having him helped him develop much quicker...as for being a beast without nash, he had 1 good season[Edited on May 15, 2007 at 1:50 AM.
