chandra's secrets (allan stratton) -- i'm just finishing it now. it's really enthralling; i read it in 2 sittings even though i didn't have time to. it's about a teenage girl coping with rape, hiv/aids, etc in sub-saharan africa.my friend's reading the infidel and says that's a keeper , too.

god, wicked was the single most worst book i've ever had the displeasure of reading. i got 40 pages from the end and couldnt even finish. pure shit. (the broadway was amazing though)naked david sedaris

^you are on to something with david sedarisbut please tell me you didn't say wicked was "the single most worse book...ever"?i'll admit it didn't live up to some of my expectations after seeing the musical, but i guess that is because i was hoping idina menzel or kristen chenoweth would somehow magically appear in the book version.

Just finished. Very good, quick read. It is written from the point of view of someone with Asperger syndrome, and a very interesting perspective on how someone with that might think.
