that sucks. and yeah, OT doesnt take that long. doesnt take near the 24hrs to get all that shit and all the queens (i did it in 2 trips). i finished it in an hour and some change.

the only game ive ever had that problem with was Oblivion. After about 25hrs playing it, it would do it in certain areas over and over again. I'd wipe the disk a bit and usually be able to get past, but sometimes not.

I returned it and got another copy. Sure enough after another 25hrs the game started doing the same thing again, but not as much as the first.

It wasn't really scratched or anything, cept for a VERY slight hair scratch on the first (hardly notice it). Was weird, but again, the only game it ever happened during.

I got to overtime mode but did not save and lost my full inventory of machineguns and smoothies. Am I fucked for trying to beat OT now because I will be damned if I can even get the 1st ingredient out of the grocery store with 10 special forces guys in there.

you start right next to the gun store, just run in there and get some shotguns and kill the closest guy, then work your way up to more machine guns.

depends heavily on your level though.

I was told when I bought my 360 that if you leave the disk in the 360 when it is not playing, the slightest bump and scratch the disk. The GameStop guys were saying that the 360 uses a new device to read games and by bumping it, the disks can get messed up. They have had a lot of people with that problem, just buy the 5$ one year guarantee from the place, your already paying 60$ for the game, why not get as many copies of the game for a year for just 65$?

I also pay the ~$3 replacement fee...definitely worth it

however the people at EB Games gave me a good tip after I brought back my NCAA 07 for like the 3rd time in the 1st week

They said with any game, when you are done playing it, don't eject the disc...go back to the Xbox360 Dashboard and then eject the disc...the reason is that the disc is suspended while you are playing it and if you just cut off the system or eject the disc, it will basically fall/drop while spinning, making those deep circular scratches

Since I've been taking their advice the last few weeks I haven't had any errors...fyi

First time thru got Ending A and beat OT. I was only level 21-23 or so when I beat OT. I was relatively low because I didn't find the parking lot till a bit later in the game and I also never got the "small chainsaws" which as I've discovered the second time thru are VERY effective.

The final guy on the tank was hilarious, for some reason if you start punching him he just covers up. So I just kept swinging over and over, took a little while but he went down without hitting me, haha.

^^ i did the same thing. i ran around looking for a weapon amongst the zombies, but i couldnt develop a sound strategy for hitting him. i got him once or twice normally but he'd beat me ass. so with 1 bar of health left i just kept punching him while he blocked (i thought maybe knocking him off the tank would finish him, but he just floats).

just go to the lower portion of the tank...when he runs down at you jump kick him...he'll run back up...repeat and you'll beat him without getting hit...it's VERY EASY

hey anybody gone through the Infinity mode yet? I still have probably a half dozen people to survive...do all the optional missions now have unlimited time or what?

what moody said is how i got the first few hits, but a couple of times he did something else that kncoked me back while jumping. his reaction time is a little faster than franks.

I've played infinity mode one time. All it is is a "see how long you can survive" type ordeal. You play with your current character and your healthy decreases the longer you go without eating (and food does not respawn and you can't get unlimited OJ from the restraunt in Paradise Plaza) and your goal is to see how long you can survive. My first time through(level 23 or so) I made it 19 hours, but I'm sure now that I have more health slots I can make it much longer.

Also there are various "bosses"/characters from the story-mode randomly around that you can face. Otis attacked me right off the bat, hahaha.

so like if i wanted to get zombie brad, is he in the tunnels in infinity mode or is he just gonna pop up somewhere? also if i havent saved/photographed all the survivors, do you know if they will be around too? also can you keep getting the respawning chainsaws at the roller coaster? cause those are the heat

I haven't seen Brad, but don't go in the tunnel un-armed because a certain van driving maniac is down there, haha, learned that real quick.

I think the weapons respawn but I'n not sure, the first time I played through Infinity Mode was directly after beating OT mode and I didn't secure the small chainsaw the first time through the game. I might go look now that I've secured them because you're right, those chainsaws are the heat, especially with the book multipliers, haha.

Anyone know what levels you get the Dissembowlment and/or Facecrusher? I have to be right on the verge of one of the 2, can't be too many more left to get.

i've got both of them...disembowel is pretty sick...i dunno...i got up to about level 14-15 before i tried to legitimately play...then i went all the way through, saving about 35 people...from all those saves I was up to level 50 before the first 72 hours was up

I was hoping for it to be 53,000 kills total, but with it resetting after the first 72 hours, it seems you have to do it in those allotted 72 hours.

So what did you do, just fail one of the main missions and then just drive around till you had 53,000 kills?

i think you should be able to do it in infinity mode, or regular 72 hour mode

but even though the population of the town is ~53,000 and you have to kill ~53,000, it doesnt matter because zombies respawn...the easiest way is to go to the parking garage, get a car, drive down in the maintenance tunnels, mowing down zombies all the way...drive to a truck or car in the maintenance tunnels, get in that new vehicle, drive back out of the tunnels to the parking garage, repeat

theres saves all over the place. just go to a bathroom if you are having a hard time getting all the way across the mall.

that said, the easiest way to level up is to massacre SWAT members in OT mode.

I'm like level 14 by now and he still pwns me like crazy. I've got a couple of blended smoothies for full health recovery, 2 katanas, 2 uzis and a pistol and he just fucks me up with his shotgun. There's no where to hide from it.

also before you meet the guy, on the roof before the elevator, save the two people on the roof and get a photograph of them hugging when they meet up...good for leveling up

I had mixed emotions when thinking about buying it, I played the demo and loved it but was unable to rent it so I just went out and bought it. Definitely made the right decision, it's a really good game.

I wouldn't be suprised if they made this into a movie and threw some of the funnier parts of the game into it (the toy heads and the megaman helmet, stuff like that). The only problem I could see would be handling all of the insane people who have lost their minds, but I'm sure they could find a way.
