MsWuf - Not bitter at all, and certainly don't feel like I am airing any laundry. Everything I said is pretty well common knowledge in radio circles. Just maybe not so much around TWW. And since it was being discussed, I thought I would chime in. There is nothing I said in that comment that I didn't say to the faces of those in the building. None of it is inflammatory or mean spirited. Just opinions.

But to get more direct, if you are asking if I am bitter about losing my gig there... I would say that bitter is very much the wrong word. It sucks, in that I liked working at G105. But at the same time, I had been there 5 years already. In fact, I was second only to Bob for being on the air there the longest. (and I won a fucking contest) Besides, I was getting to a point where I really just wasn't a big fan of the music G105 was playing lately. I just have trouble lying to the audience about how much I love a song when I don't even really like it. In reality, I was likely going to leave at the end of the summer anyway, I just got beat to the punch. (and yes, it is an ego blow to have them go first even though I was likely leaving on my own accord anyway.)

bethaleigh - yes, I would like to get on with another station locally if possible. Just sort of taking some time to see what's what. I hate country and I probably couldn't be any whiter, so that limits my options somewhat. ;-)

(ps - madison left the showgram about 3 years ago or so, then they held "tryouts" for a new morning person and hired Amy, she was there 2.5 years until a couple of months ago when her contract wasn't renewed)

ok ive been listening to this show lately in the mornings, and it is pretty damn funny. i got turned on to morning radio shows by THE FRANK SHOW out in tucson... figured the showgram would be lame, but i am impressed. funny stuff.
