coulda used more killing in that episode but not too bad none-the-less...god DAMN meadow is FINE
3/19/2006 9:58:59 PM
yes, body count was disappointing.
3/19/2006 10:04:53 PM
no killing needed...had to answer all of our questions from last epidsode. it was PERFECT. AJ is set up for killing uncle june without permission...tony, despite being shot by him i doubt would've permit which will bring more conflict BESIDES him being in a coma this season so the fate of the family is questionable.............................AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3/19/2006 10:10:30 PM
That was quite possibly the most depressing hour of television I've viewed in my entire life
3/20/2006 12:01:43 AM
meadow's high beams were on
3/20/2006 12:05:58 AM
I liked it, I'd have liked more dream scenes, but they moved the story along with AJ and some comic relief moments from Vito.
3/20/2006 12:33:36 AM
I think Vito's gonna make a push for power sooner or laterbesides the massive power fart he pushed out tonight[Edited on March 20, 2006 at 12:40 AM. Reason : gas]
3/20/2006 12:39:25 AM
it sucked tonight
3/20/2006 12:39:27 AM
i enjoyed it tonightdefinitely the most unapologetically emotional episode of the Sopranos I have seen thus farand alsoCOME ON VAN HELSING
3/20/2006 12:43:15 AM
that shit was funny th0that and vito farting
3/20/2006 12:56:45 AM
I like where vito tries to take AJ home instead of paulie, also when he said "maybe he's a homo and he didn't have anyone to talk to about it".
3/20/2006 1:02:19 AM
Vito will be dead by the end of the season
3/20/2006 1:03:11 AM
THE MOTHERFUCKER FROM WINGS IS BACK NEXT WEEK, BITCHES
3/20/2006 1:10:35 AM
i liked this episode. the parts where we were seeing tony's thoughts in the coma was really cool. it was subtle without being confusing.and carmela was GREAT this week
3/20/2006 8:12:39 AM
"I'm gonna put a bullet in his fucking mummy head"everytime Vito opens his mouth I want someone to kill him. ESP at the funeral he is complaining about Roseboro, the greedy fat couch farting fuck.
3/20/2006 9:15:13 AM
WOW. I thought that was an AWESOME episode. as a die hard sopranos fan, I don't think I've EVER been moved by an episode like I was with that one. A++++oh, and to comment on a few things from the previous page: Tony tried to tell the gambling addict that he didn't want his business. that guy INSISTED on playing. him and tony were high school pals and tony didn't want him getting involved. but tony is also a business man, and if this guy is gonna talk the talk and press his luck, then he needs to deal with the consequences. same thing goes for the guy from wings.
3/20/2006 10:36:41 AM
3/20/2006 10:56:52 AM
^ thanks for that
3/20/2006 11:45:41 AM
yeah, we get to see Lorraine Bracco's shoulders.. hawt
3/20/2006 12:17:11 PM
aha when did vito fart? i didn't hear that
3/20/2006 12:45:47 PM
when he was sitting on the couch eating at the Soprano house
3/20/2006 1:01:38 PM
ah ok... it was so faint i didn't hear it at first since i didnt have the volume too loud. meadow's boobies ]
3/20/2006 1:28:16 PM
fart was the best part
3/20/2006 1:37:25 PM
it was a good episodeif you think it sucked because nobody got killed, whateverthe sopranos isnt always what you expect, but chase is doing it his way and it should be great
3/20/2006 1:42:36 PM
I like seeing people get killed, but that isnt what the show is about. Also it wouldnt have fit the episode
3/20/2006 2:33:20 PM
remember when they were talking about the possibility of a sopranos movie? I would think this is exactly what it would be like. that was such a powerful episode. it's so unlike anything I've seen chase do up to this point. We've come to know tony so well over the years, and we've learned so many things about his persona, yet there's still so much we don't know. I think there's alot that even he doesn't know. also, we never really see how much tony holds that family together, and I think we're about to. I have a feeling there's gonna be alot of inner-fighting within the ranks and I figure tony is gonna come back after a very deep realization that this is his life and this is what he was born to do and then he's gonna crack some fucking skulls and wreck shop.
3/20/2006 2:43:03 PM
or, if he survives this he'll try to go clean, and have one of his kids die Mario Puzo style
3/20/2006 3:04:42 PM
Sunday, March 26, 2006"Mayham" - Sylvio divides the spoils from Paulie's latest score; Carmela turns to an unexpected source for help with AJ; Christopher turns to an old writing acquaintance
3/20/2006 3:26:35 PM
It struck me as out of character for AJ to be asking Meadow about getting a prius. Since when has he had causes?
3/20/2006 4:01:37 PM
seems like something meadow would've been about...i think its maybe just showing how they're both growing up more and more and going through different phases and things like that
3/20/2006 4:02:34 PM
ahaI've pulled that shit that A.J. did a few timesi.e. throwing out some bad news that pales in comparison to the current situation at the time
3/20/2006 4:04:29 PM
WITH YOUR FATHER IN A COMA
3/20/2006 4:06:13 PM
no, AJ has done this shit before. you don't remember when tony bought him the xterra and he said "suvs are bad for the environment. I'm gonna catch some shit for this at school."AJ is generally a typical teenage boy, but he does show glimpses of giving a shit from time to time. it's just so funny because it's only on his terms.
3/20/2006 4:07:09 PM
I think Rosalie was dead on in her assessment of him.
3/20/2006 4:17:50 PM
WITH YOUR FATHER IN A COMA![Edited on March 20, 2006 at 4:18 PM. Reason : ^agreed]
3/20/2006 4:18:20 PM
^^^ Ah, forgot about that. Its just such a weird side for him to have.
3/20/2006 4:19:37 PM
Am I the only one who wants to watch every episode multiple times? I have been reading the message boards on hbo.com and they just make me want to sit down and watch last night's ep 2 more times straight.
3/20/2006 4:29:11 PM
Paulie makes the Sopranos. Everything he says is gold
3/20/2006 4:49:26 PM
I thought the focus on AJ was to emphasize that all people deal with grief differently. I did think him swearing to avenge Tony was a little out of character though and I don't think he'll follow through.
3/20/2006 5:02:53 PM
Jr. is also in jail, so I am wondering about his availability to be whacked. Hopefully AJ would be smart enough to get help so he wouldnt be the prime suspect in Jr.'s murder
3/20/2006 5:05:23 PM
3/20/2006 5:06:58 PM
^yep
3/20/2006 5:19:12 PM
^^^haha yeah right, like he would think to do that
3/20/2006 5:27:15 PM
AJ is a future Capt.
3/20/2006 6:48:09 PM
I think the whole shooting is just a distraction for right now. I'm more interested in seeing how Johnny Sack handles the pressure.
3/20/2006 8:08:07 PM
i don't knowyou see the size of the hole in his torso?not to mention, sepsis & permanent brain damage is no joke
3/20/2006 9:32:51 PM
How many episodes do you think he will be in the hospital? Also, do you think its possible the series ends with him still in the hospital with all the drama done through all the other characters?
3/20/2006 9:47:44 PM
No fucking wayTony either dies at the end, or kills a major character himself, possibly one of his own crew[Edited on March 20, 2006 at 10:15 PM. Reason : ds]
3/20/2006 10:15:03 PM
I think the chances of Tony making a full recovery are like 15%. I think Chase spent a whole episode in the hospital to get us used to the fact that the Series will never be the same. This won't end up like Christophers gun shot wound--Tony will have permanent brain damage if he is LUCKY. We all know this is the last season so I think its reasonable to assume this is the way Tony's mob life ends. If I'm wrong, Chase is going to have to make Tony recover again and then bring him down again. I don't think there is enough time for that.Throughout the whole episode, AJ is emotionless and even refers to his dad as Anthony Soprano. We all knew AJ feels something, but as a teenage boy it is hard to show emotions. I was just glad that he 'let it out' at the end of the episode. But then fucking Meadow just had to walk in--stupid bitch I wanted that scene to last a little longer. AJ is arguably the worst actor on the show but I was very impressed by the hospital scene. "I'm going to put a bullet in his fucking mummy head". Wow.It's very interesting and noteworthy that Silvio assumed the role of acting boss. We all know that Tony has been coaching Chris to be the next don--and Chris is by no means ready to be the boss. But Chris was Tony's designated heir. Remember when Jackie Aprile was in the hospital, TS and Jr duked it out for acting boss. And when Carmine died Jonny Sack and Carmine Jr duked it out. I think the Sopranos family will be no different and Chris will fail to realize that he can no longer run to Tony whenever shit hits the fan. I honestly think Sil would be the best boss because he is so level-headed and intelligent. But we all know that bloodshed is inevitable in every season and so I think power struggle is obviously the outlet of violence in this season. And I can't finish without mentioning Eddie Falcos performance last night. The hallway breakdown and the monologue in the room were 2 of the best performances by her. I usually don't even notice how good of an actress she is because I'm so used to the way Carmela is, but when she was telling tony that he will pull through this because he is a bull, I think everybody watching was rooting for tony too.
