tough to not start him I think - there are only a handfull of WRs in the league with the athletic ability to perform against Revis (who isnt 100%). Just have to view him as higher risk/reward than your most likely alternative replacement...

FYI, Revis is 100% now after the bye week. This will be the first time the Jets will have a completely healthy and sharp secondary.

Tough choice for my #3 WR. Obviously I have to start Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne at the other two spots.

I have Percy Harvin who has been great lately but the Favre injury makes me question his value.

Davone Bess who has been great recently but this isn't a PPR league.

Patrick Crayton who has emerged in SD and Rivers loves to spread the ball.

Any thoughts?

^^ just read up on the Chargers. Crayton was the ONLY WR to practice on Thursday. Everybody is banged up or out of the game. The Titans secondary will double-team Crayton since he's the only healthy options. A few different fantasy websites said to avoid the Chargers, unless you have no other options.

i need help with my receiver options too. I really don't want to start Driver and I will drop him if I need to. I want to pick up either Dez Bryant or Jacoby Jones. My league rewards return yards heavily. With Slaton sucking dick, Jacoby has been named punt and kickoff returner. He'll have plenty of opportunities against the Colts. At the same time, Dez could have another breakout week.

Ok, I'm in decision mode since I'm going out before the 1pm's start. I'm actually leaning towards Stewart and Torain over Jackson. Gotta talk me out of it, someone...

i think bryant was a surprise/exception last week... he will perform, but if return yards give points, jones is a safer bet

I'm debating picking him up and playing him instead of blair white (who isn't going to be getting as many looks as I previously thought) - luckily I have a day and a half to decide

pick two:

beanie wells vs. tb (best machup, finally "starting")
jonathan stewart vs. stl (starting, ok matchup)
darren mcfadden vs seattle. (shitty matchup, but im back on the train)

im sure whichever i sit is going to ball out of control.

Stewart

Keller or Hernandez is tough. Brady is making a concerted effort to look for Hernandez but Keller is more apt to score a TD. I'd lean Keller.

Bess and Harvin. Cincinnati's pass defense got TORCHED last week and Bess will also get return yards (assuming you play in a return yardage league).

What defense? San Diego or Tennessee or did you forget to list the other one (since the play each other).

[Edited on October 31, 2010 at 12:28 PM. Reason : sorry.. two WRs.. i don't trust anyone going against a 100% Revis]

Stewart for sure. #1 RB on a run first team

I like Keller here....he's been Sanchez' favorite target this year.

Harvin and Jennings. Bess is good in PPR leagues but Harvin and Jennings have a bigger upside.

Pick either SD or TEN? Def TEN.

Injury questions abound. Flex spot: play Branch (questionable, plays 4:15), Anthony Gonzalez (questionable, plays Monday night), Tolbert (4:15ish).

I'm thinking of rolling with Branch, and if word comes out he will be held out before the 4:15 game pull him for Gonzalez since he practiced and I think will be a factor with Collie and Clark out. Tolbert is probably maxing out at about 7 points from goal line carries.

HA just saw my fantasy opponent has to start Tim Hightower at RB and Robert Meachem in the flex.

definitely go with Branch

Need more opinions

Start 1
F. Jackson vs KC
R. Mathews vs TEN

Start 1
Jennings vs NYJ
Harvin vs NE

I can't decide on Jennings because he has been money for me the past couple of weeks

Tennessee has been tough against the run and Ryan Mathews inconsistent. The Chargers will likely try to get a running game going, but I don't think Mathews has much value against one of the toughest run defenses, especially with Tolbert stealing goal line carries. I'd lean towards Jackson.

I'd be a bit wary of Harvin with Favre's injury concerns, and the Jets defense does surrender receiving yards with the heavy one on one coverage. On the other hand, Revis will likely be assigned to Jennings most of the day so it's a toss-up.

Ha Moss owners have to be screaming after he he didn't bother to try to catch the (what would be a TD) ball after the DPI.

And I'll be annoyed if Harvin gets that TD instead. Should be a run here now.

Kenny Britt (TEN) left the game in the 1st Q with a hammy injury. So I got nothing out of him...luckily I'm playing an 0-7 team this week so I should be alright regardless.

K, I'm glad I stuck with Tolbert. GG whoever it was earlier this month wondering why everyone was dropping him.

Big Ben, Colston, Donald Brown vs Shockey with a 35.5 deficit.

I was surprised that Tolbert posted as many points as he did. I should have played him over Branch in the flex slot (I figured Branch had bigger upside).

Yup.

Also, if anyone EVER brings up that Moreno play from when he was at Georgia where he hopped over a guy, they deserve to be shot. Blount just shamed that and then added 40 yards on top of it.

A decent game from Heath Miller would put me in good shape tonight, especially if Meachem is quiet. I'm carrying a 41.5 point lead, I have Miller still to play, my opponent has Manning and Meachem.

Matthews was injured at some point and Tolbert took over. I just caught a blurb on red zone and know nothing about the severity or duration. At some point I just saw Matthews on the ground and Tolbert start getting the touches.

I was pissed as shit. I can't believe the announcers didn't point that out. He just gave up on the play. Just watching his demeanor out there, he doesn't look like he's trying at all. I think I'm going to try and get rid of him this week while hopefully he still has decent trade value.

I think Randy Moss is going to be fine

and +1 to the comments on the epic week of shittyness as well as needing 50 points out of Foster and Garcon to tie in one league

in one league the team in first place (sitting at 7-0) got blown out by the team in last place (sitting at 0-7). Score was like 133-53, dude with 133 has Kevin Walter left to play tonight too.

Just an all around strange week of fantasy football
