i wouldnt be surprised if he breaks his collarbone taking off his shirt in the locker room...

it's really a shame that such a shitty season was required to effect Rafa's getting firedbut hey, if Rafa gets fired, then this Liverpool season was, in a sense at least, a success...we're not gonna win the league with Rafa there, so we took a step in the right direction]
5/2/2010 3:04:12 PM
he'll jet to the bianconeri before he has a chance to get fired
5/2/2010 3:33:34 PM
Rafa's not going to "get fired"They'd have to buy out his contract to do that, and they can't afford to do that. The more likely scenario is that Juve have already signed him up, but Rafa threatens to stay at LOLverpool unless they pay him some sort of severance fee (that would be less than buying out his contract). It's pretty shrewd on his part, but it's also a major dick move.
5/2/2010 3:46:28 PM
yeah, I guess that makes sense...they gave him that 5-year contract extension last yearwhich was pretty fucking stupid, for me...I mean, his credibility was at best shaky, even thenlike going all-in with 10j or somethingthat sucks about him going to juventus, though...I like juventus ]
5/2/2010 4:07:36 PM
he'll actually do well in Italy, I think
5/2/2010 4:09:26 PM
what makes you say that? from what I've seen, his m.o. is to start players who are inferior to players he has on the bench, play good players in positions at which their skill will not be optimized, and sub out top goalscorers in tied gamesyou're not going to prosper anywhere with that sort of coaching styleon the other hand, his teams do usually have great defenses...that's definitely a must in Italy]
5/2/2010 4:12:16 PM
what a shameful year juventus has had, especially after the diego and melo signings coupled with a blistering start
5/2/2010 4:14:37 PM
at least rafa will be reunited with his prized midfielder, mohammed sissoko[Edited on May 2, 2010 at 4:23 PM. Reason : as]
5/2/2010 4:23:24 PM
^^^His entire ethos is a defensive one - he wouldn't know how to produce a free-flowing, attacking team if his life depended on it.Italy is the home of the horror that is Catenaccio. I think Rafa will take to throwing 11 men behind the ball like a duck to water. Just my opinion.[Edited on May 2, 2010 at 5:24 PM. Reason : .]
5/2/2010 5:19:03 PM
I, too, agree that Rafa's style would be better suited for Serie A
5/2/2010 5:57:43 PM
The question that begs itself be asked is "who replaces him?" though
5/2/2010 6:22:42 PM

5/2/2010 8:36:37 PM
i just got off the phone with amac884 and he has conceded 3rd place to tottenham. apparently arsenal are fine with 4th place
5/3/2010 2:06:35 PM
That would be epic.
5/3/2010 2:30:38 PM
there are rumors of a Fabianski move to the ralihawks at season's end
5/3/2010 4:50:38 PM
Robin van Persie to Rochester Rhinos?
5/3/2010 4:53:18 PM

Angel Di Maria: OVER RATED.[Edited on May 3, 2010 at 5:32 PM. Reason : at 40 million pounds, at least.]
5/3/2010 5:32:10 PM
ridiculous...theyve already started. if there is a god that exists, man city finish 5th at the end of the season
5/3/2010 5:34:29 PM
I would love to see them out of the european places altogether somehow[Edited on May 3, 2010 at 5:38 PM. Reason : 10 point deduction for having too much money]
5/3/2010 5:38:18 PM
everyone they buy will be over-rated, well maybe not all will be over-rated, but all will def be overpriced. they are paying more than the top clubs in the world would pay, and they are paying salaries way more than any top club to some of the most mediocre of players too...i would hate to see how much pablo zabaleta makes for man city, but i bet its equal or more than some of the best right backs in the worldi wonder whats gonna happen to the bellamys and irelands of that club. i wouldnt mind seeing stephen ireland picked up by united...cant believe they arent playing him[Edited on May 3, 2010 at 5:44 PM. Reason : f]
5/3/2010 5:43:09 PM
I'd rather have Bellamy than Ireland, to be honest, but we've had this conversation
5/3/2010 6:16:08 PM
dont need a winger. definitely need an attacking center mid
5/3/2010 7:06:33 PM
Bellamy's a forward, brah[Edited on May 3, 2010 at 7:08 PM. Reason : he plays out wide but does better than BerbaLOL in the middle]
5/3/2010 7:07:33 PM
united dont need another 30+ aged forward. if they are going to buy another forward they can and should do better than bellamy
5/3/2010 7:23:17 PM
BUT HES FAST THOstop pissin in my cornflakes JT
5/3/2010 7:24:02 PM

5/3/2010 9:44:18 PM
i'll be damned I actually agree with aimorris ITT
5/3/2010 9:46:12 PM
if torres leaves hes not staying in england
5/3/2010 9:46:29 PM
where else would he go?He sure as hell ain't goin to Madrid and I doubt Barca would want him. Maybe he could go to Serie A and fucking clean up
5/3/2010 9:48:15 PM
hes already stated this league is killing him with the injuries and stuff. maybe he follows rafa to juventus
5/3/2010 10:07:39 PM
doubt he'd leave a non-CL team for another... Milan maybe?Still think Chelsea/City would be more likely if he's leaving
5/3/2010 10:18:28 PM
I think Torres ends up at City Madrid wont buy him unless they get rid of Higuain, and no one else could afford him, really.
5/3/2010 10:50:15 PM
pato/torres pairing up top to reclaim italy
5/3/2010 10:59:07 PM
^^ Seems like they really like Gonzalo... he's been doing a good job of keeping Benzema in a reserve role lately
5/3/2010 11:07:28 PM
he doesnt go to madrid cause id assume thats a rival team. he grew up in madrid with atletico madrid..
5/3/2010 11:11:09 PM
"money speaks louder than loyalty"signed,Zidane
5/3/2010 11:14:18 PM
maybe he will come to the railhawks with fabianski
5/3/2010 11:15:50 PM
Actually I heard that the Battery wanted Torres REAL bad. They're offering up one large bag of Funyuns per week in addition to a staggering $233 / week.
5/3/2010 11:18:21 PM
where did zidane go that broke his club loyalty? he grew up in france... :/
5/3/2010 11:20:57 PM
Barca to Madrid
5/3/2010 11:23:40 PM
you mean juventus to madrid?
5/3/2010 11:24:24 PM
I mean EPIC FAIL on my partwho am I thinking about that went from Barca to Madrid over money?
5/3/2010 11:26:59 PM
Ronaldo?even then hes from brazil so its not like he grew up in barca then went to madridbut also he only played like 1 or 2 seasons at barca...then went somewhere else before madrid...fuck...milan or inter or somewhere in italy[Edited on May 3, 2010 at 11:29 PM. Reason : f]
