There are laws in the state preventing wine and beer companies about discounting alcohol. So they give you money back on things that go with........mixersmeatgrillslawn furnitureall kinds of things. The rebates are almost always at gas stations or grocery store displays. I would guess I see them about 2X a month.^ I went last week for the water and got rainchecks. The one I went to said they were out of water at 6am

thx forkgirl, will have to look into that some more.1.88 for 12 pack of coke is the best I've ever seen. Limit of only 2 or else I'd fill an entire room.
1/14/2011 11:57:15 PM
OMG...check your catelinas.... I have 4 $1 off a coke 12 pack. I am going to go me 4 of them right now. (My mom is e-vic and my father doesn't allow soda in the house)I am also going to go to CVS before they close tonight and hope that they turn tomorrow sale on today so I can have 6 packs for free. (This and next week they have by 6 12 packs for 20 get 10 back. 2 different offer codes. The CVS by my house turns Sundays ad on Saturday night.)
1/15/2011 1:43:37 PM
is the $1.88 better than the Buy 2 Get 3 Free deal?
1/15/2011 2:31:25 PM
probably by $2 or so

When in Florida for the bowl game, I noticed a lot of beer had coupons attached, usually requiring the purchase of meat (unfortunately my Publix ham sandwich did not count as a ham purchase). Will have to check out the front of the grocery store next time for these rebates...sounds similar to the ones found at the ABC stores. So, I watched an episode of Extreme Couponing the other week. This one crazy woman had a room full of toilet paper she supposedly got free...not the cheap stuff either. Ive never seen a coupon for Charmin for more than 50 cents...and I dont think they ever put it on sale enough to make it free (or close to it). They dont actually explain how these people are pulling off these deals (they cover how they get so many coupons, but not really how they add up to free)...so, assuming shes playing by the rules, how is she doing that? Same with a lot of the other stuff these people are getting for free...I think toothpaste is the only thing Ive been able to get free consistently.
1/16/2011 5:12:33 PM
Extreme Couponing show? I'm definitely going to have to check that out.
1/16/2011 5:24:07 PM
^^I got Cottonelle as a money maker over the summer at Rite Aid .....4-24 packs...I think that will last my husband and me for awhile (We have used 1 of the 24 packs) Just have to watch the deals.I bought some of the free tp at RA Sunday for the church since I have the 20% discount I paid .80 and I got $1 up.Yes, those are the rebates I am talking about. In NC, you do not have to buy the beer or the wine to get them because it is against the law. In other states, you have to make the beer purchase.
1/18/2011 11:49:43 PM
Pepsi for the last two weeks is 6 for $20 with 10 back in ecbs at CVS.....Makes it $1.67 a 12-pk.I had free Sobe (pepsi product) coupons so I had the raincheck for bogo Sobe....20 Sobe -$203 12 packs -$10used raincheck (-10)used 7 free Sobes (-7)Paid 13 and got a 10 dollar ecb.
1/18/2011 11:53:48 PM

It is buy 20 GM products and get $6 off your order...match that up with some coupons and with SDs, you can prob. score some cheap cerealcheck out the HT shopping list on http://www.southernsavers.com to see some scenarios for cheap cereal[Edited on February 16, 2011 at 2:43 PM. ^Yeah, I just did that deal...unfortunately they were already running out of things even on the first day...might need to go at midnight next time...Make sure you load up on those e-Vic coupons beforehand though...its like a bonus you forgot about when you go through checkout, and you get to count them AND your paper coupon. I walked out of there with 31 items for a total of $2.19. Im not sure if Ill eat all of those biscuits, but for that cheap, whats it matter?
2/16/2011 5:50:46 PM
Harris Teeter has online coupons that you can add to your VIC card, so I added a 0.75 coupon for Fiber One cereal. Then I went on Fiber One's website and printed out another 0.75 coupon, which Harris Teeter doubled even though they weren't supposed to (woops). So the 4.35 box of cereal came out to $2.10Not a great deal, but much better than paying full price!
2/16/2011 8:36:16 PM
$128 worth of groceries (that we'll actually eat) for $40 at the HT w/ qpons and the $6 general mills promotion...love the super doubles

Not sure if anybody lives near Hickory, NC but apparently the Harris Teeter there has been doing triples since September/October 2010.The only time they have stopped is when they switch over to Super Doubles. I also heard that the HT in Hendersonville is doing on-going triples as well.
4/14/2011 8:42:48 AM
