Any decent deer rifles for sale? I have been offered a Savage 110 30-06 with scope for $350, does anyone have a .243 and up they want to sell?
9/25/2009 1:46:43 AM
what kind of scope is on it?
9/25/2009 2:25:51 PM
^^ is that the savage zrwearne was selling back on page 42?
9/25/2009 5:00:51 PM
Naw, his is AccuTrigger, this one is a few years prior to that. The gun dont look bad, but I have heard bad reports about the Walnut stocks warping and affecting accuracy.
9/25/2009 5:52:00 PM
interested in the p3at, sent you a pm

Sig Mosquito Reverse Bi-Tone1.5 years old, comes with case and 1 magazine.Has a tendency to jam occasionally. Sounds like it can be fixed with a new spring, never really cared enough to worry about it.$250GSG-5pk7 months old, comes with 3 22 round magazines (really hold about 25), and case.No problems$450Feeler:Springfield XD Subcompact 9mmalmost 2 years old, comes with 10 round and 16 round magazines, case, speed loader, Serpa holster.~500 rounds fired.Make an offer.Must have CCP or Pistol Permit for any purchase. Also, if anyone on here doesn't have their CCP and wants to take the class, send me a PM. I'll be teaching a couple courses in the next few weeks and have a couple open spots left.
9/26/2009 2:14:24 PM
$300 on the XD, but I need to see the condition and hold it first (never held the subcompact model).
9/26/2009 4:00:14 PM
$335 on the XD Subcompact. I have CCW in hand.
9/26/2009 7:58:47 PM
$365 on the XD subcompact, and or willing to talk a trade with the KelTec P11 I am carrying now+cash for your XD.Keltec has 4x 9mm factory mags, all with plastic factory finger pad extension, factory box/paperwork, a 40 SW slide and barrel kit, factory from KelTec, with 4 mags, 3 normal, 1 with the machined aluminium finger rest extension. Also comes with a 357 SIG barrel for the 40 slide, plus a wild bill S.O.B. clip holster.
9/26/2009 10:26:35 PM
I'm looking for closer to 450 on the subcompact, otherwise I'll just hang onto it. It is in great condition, no cosmetic damage. Also, I got several responses on the CCP courses so I'll give a few more details. I'm charging $60/person and my next class is on October 18th. It is your standard course with 8 hours of classroom instruction and a shooting test that consists of 50 total rounds at distances of 3, 5, 7, and 10 meters.

a NEW XD 9mm subcompact at PDHSC is ~529 as quoted today, even with the price increase. And this includes 2 mags and the gear, as always. All of the XD 3 inch 9mm's now offer the 'improved' 13 round mag. This means you are offering a USED gun, plus a nice, after market holster, I assume set up as one of the paddle or belt kits. There are a LOT of serpa holsters from blackhawk that fit an XD.That, if new, is a ~$30-$40 holster. You are asking, setting that aside, $410-$420 for the gun itself. ASSUMING the gun is in perfect shape, that is a ~20% savings off buying brand new off the shelf, or, pre shipping/FFL, similar to the buy it now prices for some gun broker sales of the same gun NEW in the box.My interest in the gun would be to use it to replace the keltec I carry now, and have commonality of magazines with the other XD I carry. If you are looking for anything trade wise, or willing to work a deal, let me know.

9/28/2009 4:28:26 PM
^^No big deal. I just put it up here to see if people would offer the same prices they did when Krazedgirl listed hers several months back. I don't mind holding onto it as a backup 9.
9/28/2009 4:46:14 PM
yeah. At the time, I had some extra cash, and EVERY dealer I had talked to told me 3-4 week wait on one other than the ones that were selling at msrp+10-20%. Thus I was willing to pay a price comparable to what I would have paid at a dealer, since I had been trying to find one. Since then. I have gotten used to the two keltecs as my EDC guns. It was a case of 'had 450, wanted a gun, spent it on a different gun plus a pile of ammo' deal

looking for a nice deer rifle to trade for my New AR-10
9/28/2009 7:45:21 PM
What kind of deer rifle you looking for? How much you want for your A10 and pics or details?
9/28/2009 9:26:26 PM
Slap a $200 scope on the AR-10 and you'd be set.
9/28/2009 9:26:29 PM
^ I am new to the hunting game, is there a regulation for mag capacity for hunting deer?
9/28/2009 9:58:43 PM
not in my county, or at least not on last check. And since Remington and several others sell 'hunter' model AR-15's in camo......
9/28/2009 10:08:15 PM
I'm just looking to buy a deer rifle outright. Prefer .308, but will consider anything above .223
9/28/2009 10:15:09 PM
I'm pretty sure there's a 5-round magazine capacity limit for hunting deer with a rifle. That said, 5-round magazines are available.
9/29/2009 7:50:16 AM
there is no magazine capacity limit for deer hunting with rifle or shotgun in north carolinathe only mag cap limit i know of is 3 shells when hunting migratory birds (gotta plug it so it'll only hold 2 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber)
9/29/2009 2:27:12 PM
Why the limit on birds? So you don't shoot the whole flock down?
9/29/2009 3:06:02 PM
anyone have a lead on a used Beretta 92FS? Or is gunbroker my best bet for used?
9/29/2009 8:28:02 PM
^^pretty much
9/29/2009 9:04:03 PM
^Isn't that a federal regulation as well? The low cap shotgun thing.
9/29/2009 9:48:42 PM
i have no idea
9/29/2009 10:00:59 PM
go to lawmens for a used berreta
9/29/2009 10:23:26 PM
^^ migratory birds are federally regulated since they fly through more than one state. also there is nothing i have seen in the books on a mag capacity for anything but migratory birds, just bag limits. throw the factory 10 rd mag in and you'll be good to go.
9/29/2009 11:06:49 PM
I got a Hi Point 9mm Carbine for sale. It has the ATI stock on it. No open sights, sling, BSA BZ2.5x20 Short scope on it. Comes with 3 factory 10rd mags, and 2 ProMag 15rounders. Makes a great lil trunk gun, shoots good and eats any ammo. I'm looking to get around 200$nego. Intersted in ar stuff, ammo, or any other intersting trades. Shoot me an offer, least i can say in no.
10/5/2009 12:41:31 AM
I can vouch for the Hi-Point carbine. Great gun, especially with the ATI stock. I probably put 2k rounds through mine before ever cleaning it and it goes bang every time without fail.
10/5/2009 1:04:12 AM
Its been a great gun, used it as my trunk/trail/toolbox gun. But I picked up another ar upper to replace it at the show today so i gotta move this. 9mm ammo, 45 acp, or 5.56 ammo accepted and as always cash!
10/5/2009 1:48:36 AM
^ ouch. if you take what u have and try the pics again let me know, and i'll delete that post when youre done.
10/5/2009 5:34:07 PM
I'm pretty sure I'll take the mosin off your hands. I just want to see it first.I've got cash ready.[Edited on October 5, 2009 at 5:51 PM. Reason : .]

After that little pic fail, let's try this again, shall we?Thinning the herd a bit and selling some stuff I don't use much anymore - some odd and interesting goodies here.1943 Izhevsk Arsenal M91/30 Mosin Nagant - $100Chambered in 7.62x54R, this rifle is in great condition for a wartime shooter. It came to me in good condition, but I chem stripped the old yellow shellac and replaced it with a good stain and regular coats of Linseed Oil. It's got a very clean, natural look to the wood now, and the red mohogany stain gives it a very unique look in the sunlight.Savage Springfield Model 187J - $100This one's a little .22 tube-fed, and it actually fires .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle. It fires LR as semi-auto, and the others as singles. With shorts, it's marginally louder than an airgun. Very nice. It was refinished by the owner prior to myself with the Minwax Tung-Oil finish, which I have come to love and since used on a couple other guns. It's clear, semi-gloss, and hard as a rock, so it shows off the pine wood grain under there really nicely. It also has a dovetail groove in the receiver for mounting a set of airgun rings. It will short stroke at least 50% of the time on cheap .22 - it spits out mini-mags and stingers just fine, but I haven't messed with tuning it to reliably eject anything else. It's also missing the safety bar, so the safety switch just floats there.Walther SP-22 Mk.2 - $325This is a "target" model Walther that's a real tack driver. It's got a 6" barrel and a picatinny rail kit installed so you can mount a scope, red dots, or lasers/lights if you're so inclined. Comes with two magazines, and the original case w/ paperwork. The magazine safety has been removed and the two-stage trigger has been adjusted for a light, crisp, repeatable break every time. Barrel is threaded to receive a P22 Suppressor adapter.Cugir SA Romanian PSL-54C - $750This is a redesign of the famous "Dragunov" sniper rifle, modeled around an AK-type action and manufactured for export to the US. It fires the 7.62x54R round, same as the Mosin, and surplus ammo is readily available for it. This is not one of the shoddy surplus kit builds that gave PSL's a bad rep in the 90's, but a brand new rifle(when I got it of course) from Cugir Armory. It runs great, comes with two mags, a mag pouch, a sling, and a cleaning kit.I've refinished this one and invested a lot of time into getting the wood perfectly clean and the colors just right. It looks very "red" in the picture, but without the camera flash it's a beautiful dark cherry red with a thick coat of satin poly to keep it safe. I spent a lot of time and research to do this refinish, so it's far superior to the old runny yellow shellac that these things come with. You really have to see it in person to appreciate how beautiful it is.Spike's Tactical/Rock River 9mm AR Pistol - $1000More fun than a clown on fire, folks. 32 rounds of AR happiness in one compact package. This is a 100% custom ground-up build that I put together last Summer, and I've probably put somewhere between 500-1k rounds through it since. It eats absolutely everything I've fed it, and then spits it out with authority. It's a Spike's Tactical limited run lower receiver that includes the F/A markings and color fill, with a DPMS LPK and a removable RRA magwell adapter installed. It's also a low-shelf, so it's RDIAS-ready in case you're into that kind of thing. It's got a Spike's pistol buffer tube on the back with their own custom 9mm heavy buffer inside, which vastly improves cycling and recoil. The upper is an RRA 9mm dedicated with brass deflector and shortened dust cover, RRA bolt, and 5" barrel. The handguards are YHM 3" railed free-float with a Spike's SD fake-can to fill up the end. It's got a 30mm BSA red dot on top with the see-through flip up covers installed, and comes with one 32-round Pro-mag. The RRA magwell block uses standard Colt-style 9mm magazines.

I tried posting this in fumblers thread but know one has replied, sorry I know this isn't specifically a for sale, just looking for some adviceA buddy of mine is getting ready to sell his S&W model 67 38 special and S&W 9mm 910, I was thinking about taking the 67 off his hands. We are going shooting next week to see what I think since I have never fired one before. Any thoughts on this gun? It seems to get good reviews from what I have read online. It will be used for home defense and occasionally shooting for fun. Also any one know a reasonable price for a gun like this used? He has no idea yet what he wants for it so just looking at a ball park number
10/7/2009 7:39:25 AM
i may be interested in his 910, you know what he is asking?
10/7/2009 9:01:06 AM
umm... that's what he's asking....

Rule of thumb, imo, is gunbroker average minus 10% if it's like new, minus 15% if it's a little beat up.Based on that, 350-400 is fair depending on whether it's average or immaculate. For an average quality used model, I'd offer $350 tops.[Edited on October 7, 2009 at 1:01 PM. Reason : looked it up]
