Looks like the more expensive the seats were the more likely for people to show up in that case. Still kind of shitty they did not cancel. I understand with a play you have to pay people even if its snowing but they could have rescheduled. .

Icy layer covering the snow this morning. This is going to suck, and the dog could barely walk on it. He doesn't weigh enough to make holes in it 100% of the time. Hopefully the sun melts it and it's better this afternoon.

^^ that is exactly what happened with my dog just now. it was hilarious actually. she had no idea wtf was going on. I was entertained

but yea that ice is at least 1/4 inch thick if not more. I had to clear a spot away so she would pee. my dainty princess wouldn't squat on ice

This guy found a spot under a tree that wasn't icy and made yellow snow like he's been doing it all his life. Then he tried to run straight back to the front door. He was chained in a yard his whole life until I got him two weeks ago, and I think he was afraid I'd leave him outside in this crap.

Major roads in Cary are pretty much clear. Still wouldn't go in today even if I was scheduled, shirts probably going to re freeze and then get snow on top of it this afternoon. I just want it gone by Friday afternoon.

We just had a snow plow run a couple of passes on our neighborhood street in Cary.

I thought this would be good, except now everyone has a 3ft wall of snow and ice packed in at the end of the driveway and all the good sledding spots were on the road, which are now gone.

^^ I'm not near campus, but the non-scraped roads around me are all fine. As long as you have decent tires and take it easy, its just slush.

the snow around noon is expected to be pretty heavy though, so i'd stay put or move quickly.

^4 Avent Ferry has at least one lane in each direction plowed, both lanes in certain spots. Car parked in front of Sammy's on the road blocking it from being both lanes on that side.

Varsity at Avent Ferry is clear, didn't go up as far as Western.

not sure about Holly Springs, but for Raleigh they are forecasting it to start as sleet and freezing rain then transition to snow
