I choose to interpret that any info about Peter dying is based on what we saw in the commercial, which sounded pretty straightforward as presented. In which case, this wouldn't be new. But since commercials can be spliced and edited (and out of context), Peter could very well live. So at this point, I see Peter's fate as a complete toss up. I'm inclined to believe though, that he would live at least until the end of the season.

My money is on Isaac dying, since at least this was foretold by Hiro's time traveling earlier in the season.

great episode, with the exception of the underwhelming peter/sylar confrontation. I really hope the writers cook up a good one before the season ends.

Interesting: before Isaac died he told Sylar that he (Isaac) won't have died before he got to show the others how to kill Sylar and stop the bomb, then, "I finally get to be a hero", or something like that. This was a fairly loaded announcement. Any idea what this means? For starters, maybe

(1) He simply made a painting and mailed it to somebody, OR

(2) By giving his life (and submitting his powers to Sylar) he would enable a course of events whereby Sylar would be killed and the explosion prevented/subdued, OR

(3) other...

Somehow, there is a drawing in there that shows how Sylar gets killed and the heroes will get hold of it and Isaac will be celebrated.

Ah, that may be the ticket. then, it'd just be a matter of which heroes had seen him with a sketchbook and have insistent enough reason to try to find everything he drew/painted.

Regarding Isaac mentioning stopping the explosion, I'm pretty sure he did include a comment to that effect. I remember it all as one sentence, where he mentioned both stopping Sylar and the explosion.

^ in one of the last 2 episodes there was a flash back to Hiro as a kid and him and his dad talking with LInderman. I apparently missed this episode when it first aired, but I don't recall what they were talking about, just that they were talking.

I'm not disputing Linderman runs it, but Hiro's dad comes in somehow.

The thing at the end of this episode with the strings was a timeline, and it was indicating multiple (MANY multiple) possible futures. Considering Hiro is pretty emo in the future, you can be pretty certain his gift is pyrrhic (either he can't hop to different timelines by choice, or he can't predict the negative effects of his choices to fix things, kind of like Anarax in The Year of Hell ST: Voyager episodes). This means the writers can go any way they want in the show and always hop back in time.

I agree with who said it earlier though, I don't get why Mohinder didn't bust a cap in Sylar's head when he knocked him out, like he was going to do earlier. The writers so far have been good about not leaving gaping holes like that, so I assume there is some explanation.

My friend Shane said he thought he saw Sylar had painted himself in the oval office. I'd have to look again.

I couldn't tell if Sylar just couldn't paint or if it was him.

The escape was FANTASTIC, and just made me like Mr. Bennet even more. He is a badass for having no powers.

I was wondering the same thing, but i think that it was just his "style" of painting. I think the power only lets you paint the future, not make it all badass comic book looking.

Also, on the subject of what Isac did to warn the others, I don't know if its just a coincidence, but I remember when he was putting the comic in the envelope there was a frame that showed a syringe. In the preview for next week, the last part had a man with a white house visitor badge zoomed in on a syringe. Could indicate that he put it in the comic, knowing that Hero would buy it, or it could just be another part of the future that he drew that has nothing to do with Sylar.
