oh yeah...i remember now, the one where he was burying all the people in the field
4/13/2009 1:00:42 PM
i didn't watch this show for 4 years almost and have been able to pick up with complete ease after reading their wiki page. however i can't say that i like how everyone now has a power and knows who clark is.
4/21/2009 12:00:41 PM
My thoughts on tonight's episode1. Lamest beginning ever. The whole shadowy superhero, wind blowing scarf thing was as cheesy as it gets!2. Getting over that, Lois looked HOT AS HELL in that Stilleto outfit!!!3. The Chloe and Jimmy storylines are really getting in the way of the overall story (reminds me of Lana).4. By the end of the episode, I actually thought it was pretty good. The ongoing progression of the Lois and Clark relationship I think has been done very well. Still, I don't see how they plan to continue this show for another season. But, every once in a while, an episode comes along that makes you think the writers know something you don't.
4/23/2009 11:55:32 PM
agree with 2-4i think they did the lois thing fairly well - with her phone battery being dead and her going SERIOUSLY - it was almost as if they were mocking all the cliche scenarios in superhero shows all along
4/24/2009 2:45:23 AM
So uh, when Clark got shot, how did he explain to Jimmy and Lois how he miraculously healed the instant they left the room with the kryptonite.Speaking of which, why the hell were they lacing counterfeit money with kryptonite to begin with?
4/24/2009 3:20:16 AM
i think they explained it in the scene where he shot his boss man - i don't remember why though, good question.and um, he was still pretending to be hurt at the planet with lois and it was under his shirt so i doubt they saw it
4/24/2009 3:39:32 AM
they said something like "and now we have counterfeiting ink thanks to those meteor rocks from smallville." it was a throw-away line, but they did explain it.i wish clark and doomsday would just fucking fight already.
4/24/2009 12:46:59 PM
I am trying to figure out how much damn Kryptonite is around. There have been ungodly amounts of Krypto throughout the series....just a thought. III
4/24/2009 2:32:51 PM
yeah in one episode a while back there was some in a pond in a retirement home. Its as if they just left all the meteors where they were and continued about their business.
4/24/2009 3:28:55 PM
this season is alright but holy shit i cannot stand chloe and lois' constant use of metaphors and dramatic irony in pretty much every conversation they have with clark. does anyone know what i'm talking about?
4/24/2009 11:44:50 PM
^Yeah I know what you mean. They are going overboard with the foreshadowing. Back in the first few seasons they used to do it every now and then (Clark's shop class project was an "S" symbol for Smallville High but it was obviously the Superman symbol, someone would mention that Clark had to be a "Man of Steel" to do so-and-so, etc.) and it was a little more clever, but this season it has just been everywhere.
4/25/2009 11:10:17 AM
There was still a bullet in him regardless, and in a place that wouldn't cause too much damage aside from blood loss, so they probably just removed it and put gauze on him and expected it to heal on its own...which it did at a much faster pace
5/1/2009 4:32:45 AM
fuckin clark needs to man up and start killing
5/4/2009 12:41:36 AM
and start bwning lois
5/4/2009 1:30:24 AM
yeah that too...she was nowhere to be seen last episode
5/4/2009 2:22:37 AM
kidding me? Chloe shows up at the fortress and pulls out the crystal? ahahaha... this show gets worse and worse...yet i can't quit watching for some stupid reason
5/4/2009 4:11:28 PM
^ that's both the brilliance and problem with this show. it's so bad, yet you can't look away.
5/4/2009 5:08:48 PM
the show has been nothing without lex. plz come back michael rosenbaum.
5/4/2009 7:12:19 PM
bump...what did everybody think last night?
5/8/2009 1:31:56 PM
i know some interesting twists occurred but i still thought it was pretty forgettable
5/8/2009 3:09:59 PM
i think the writers think this episode was a "set-up" to the finale, but this entire episode could be erased and it wouldn't have any impact on next week. regardless, the preview has me almost sort of excited about next week.
5/8/2009 3:17:43 PM
what did the voice say to tess at the end? i couldn't understand it.
5/9/2009 2:02:31 AM
something along the lines of "you'll be the savior of kandor"http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Kandorbrainiac's biggest triumph over superman. he shrank the largest city in krypton and superman could never undo it.[Edited on May 9, 2009 at 2:15 AM. Reason : !]
5/9/2009 2:14:07 AM
episode was cooltess and lois shouldve been naked in their fightid rather chloe be dead instead of jimmyclark and doomsdays' fight shouldve lasted longerbatman needs to make an appearance
5/14/2009 9:02:14 PM
i've missed the past 3 episodes. is it worth my time to go back and watch them? or is jimmy dying the main thing i'll get from them?
5/14/2009 10:22:39 PM
^^^kandor has been un-shrunk btw[Edited on May 15, 2009 at 12:40 AM. Reason : ^^^]
5/15/2009 12:40:08 AM
why couldn't chloe save jimmy with her tears like she did lois?
5/15/2009 6:11:38 AM
5/15/2009 7:43:24 AM
i can't get over how all the people in this show have such open access to the luther mansion at any time regardless of what the current state of the relationship with lex is.

Closing the frantic network upfront week on Thursday (May 21), The CW announced a 2009-2010 primetime schedule that is both simple and logical. But don't try telling that to fans of "Smallville."The long-running Superman drama's gift for all of its years of high-rated and dedicated service to The CW? A trip to Friday nights, where it will lead into... Oblivion? Or, at the very least, where it will lead into "America's Next Top Model" encores. It seems like a cold move until you look at the rest of The CW's week and realize that, perhaps for the first time, all of the netlet's programming pieces actually appear to fit together, leaving "Smallville" and the odd-show-out.On Mondays, The CW is keeping "Gossip Girl" and "One Tree Hill" together. Their audiences appear compatible, even if they have a certain combined ratings' ceiling. Tuesday will be Old FOX Night on The CW. The rebooted "90210," essentially rebooted itself midseason, will lead into a rebooted "Melrose Place," with Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro returning to joining new stars like Katie Cassidy, Shaun Sipos, Stephanie Jacobson, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Jessica Lucas. It will be Model Night on Wednesdays, with the semi-unscripted pretty-people-drama of "America's Next Top Model" fitting in with "The Beautiful Life," a scripted look at the lives of models. The stars of the Ashton Kutcher produced "The Beautiful Life" include Elle MacPherson, Mischa Barton, Sara Paxton and Corbin Bleu. That leaves The CW with Supernatural Thursday, kicking the night off with "The Vampire Diaries" and going into "Supernatural." Although "The Vampire Diaries" is based on its own series of young adult novels, you can bet that The CW will be gunning for the "Twilight" audience with the story of a beautiful teen (Nina Dobrev) torn between her feelings for two vampires (Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley). Don't those nights all make sense? "Smallville" just happened to be the show without a logical companion. The CW still has "Parental Discretion Advised" set for midseason. Already on its third or fourth different titled, "Parental Discretion Advised" focuses on a young girl finding her biological parents and stars Britt Robertson, Kristoffer Polaha, Shiri Appleby and Kerr Smith.Eagle-eyed CW fans will note that this schedule apparently means the end for bubble dramas "Privileged" and "Reaper," as well as the entire concept of "comedy" on The CW, with the departures of "Everybody Hates Chris" and "The Game." As was previously announced, The CW has also departed Sunday nights entirely, leaving it to affiliates to figure out how to program.

Isn't the next season the last season anyway?Looks like Smallville will be now moved to Saturday mornings on the DVR for me.
5/21/2009 12:17:47 PM

5/21/2009 1:09:26 PM

5/25/2009 9:47:26 PM

5/26/2009 5:33:06 AM
and, you know, the ominous whisper "ZOOOOOOOOOOOOD".[Edited on May 26, 2009 at 11:29 AM. Reason : !]

i hope the season is as good as that trailer. looked great.
7/29/2009 7:26:20 AM
Didn't this start last Friday? III
9/29/2009 4:38:10 PM
^Damn, you're right. I haven't seen any marketing or anything for the new season. Given how badass the trailers looked, I'd think they would promote it more. At this point though, I'm mainly hanging on because I know it is the last season and I have to finish it. You can stream last week's episode from the CW website though:http://www.cwtv.com/cw-video/smallville
9/29/2009 4:48:08 PM
It wasn't that great. The plot was all over the place. And here's Superboy's "new" look:
9/29/2009 4:50:10 PM
