today I switched it up some and did front squats instead of back squats for legs. I struggled to do 10 reps of 225 because it felt so awkward to hold the bar like that. Hopefully I'll get my technique worked out so I can up the weight to where I'm challenging my quads and not my sense of balance.I finished off leg day on machines because I'm a bum and it is Saturday before Labor Day. I threw in some tricep work while I was at it too.

i usually run at around a 7min 30second per mile pace while i'm running but i strained a tendon in my foot so I'm supposed to stay off my foot for the week so we shall see what happens. [Edited on August 30, 2008 at 5:20 PM. Reason : .]

Nothing today, but I park out on the far reaches at school, so I end up speedwalking 15 minutes each way to get to class, not to mention the walking back and forth between actual classes. That is a lot of cardio for me, I'm pretty lazy.

Water aerobics was awesome, I loved that class!Did 1 hr cardio, 1 hour weight lifting.

for front squats, I'm placing the bar up across my shoulders and upper chest and then crossing my arms and grabbing the bar with my palms facing down about 6 inches apart. I'm not using a clean grip.

Ok, nm. I was going to suggest that. I've never really used that way much. But, I do remember keeping my hands over my shoulders (or as far apart as possible) helped stabalize my shoulders.I love front squats.

Awesome... I'm not losing anymore weight but then again I'm just silly strong right now... I'd like to lose 1 or 2 more lbs of fat in my luvvvv handles and I'd be stoked but i guess no one is perfect.

umm its pretty easy....if you're pale skinned just work a certain muscle until its red... you can find exercises online that show the muscle groups ... the main thing is do enough weight so that you cannot move it very fast but make sure its light enough that you don't have to "cheat" the motion and by that i mean use your back or legs to help finish a curl
