Dammit. This is the only one I haven't at least partially listened to. Someone needs to get the audio highlights going.

" Leslie Leads the Way As Wolfpack Closes Out Spain Trip with a 86-71 Win

Las Palmas, Canary Islands – Six players scored in double figures for NC State as the Wolfpack defeated the Gran Canaria Select squad, 86-71, on Monday at the Centro Insular de Deportes. The Pack concluded its Spanish exhibition tour with a 4-0 mark.

Junior forward C.J. Leslie had his best outing of the trip, scoring 19 points, with 14 of those coming after intermission. He also tied with senior forward Richard Howell for top rebounding honors with eight boards in the contest.

Freshman guard Tyler Lewis also had his best performance to date, notching 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor, including 2-for-2 from 3-point range. He also tied fellow guard, junior Lorenzo Brown, for top assist honors with six on the day.

Also scoring in double figures were Brown and Howell with 13 each, while forwards, senior Scott Wood and freshman T.J. Warren, each contributed 10 in the victory.

Wolfpack head coach Mark Gottfried was pleased by the overall improvement shown by his team on the trip, but noted there was still plenty of room for growth once preseason practice begins in October.

“I like the fact our guys had a lot of energy and played the right way,” Gottfried said. “When I look at the trip, overall it was a good trip. We got a lot accomplished. I know where we want to be and I know what’s facing us down the road here and we’ve got to get a lot better.”

NC State was originally slated to play five contests on its tour, but Sunday’s game was called at halftime due slick playing surface created by sand blown from the Sahara Desert some 300 miles away from the venue."

I love football...but its hard to get excited about 7-5 and Belk Bowls. I mean...we have the potential to go to the ACC championship, but our LBs are young and unproven, and we've already lost one starting WR and will probably lose a shit ton more before the season is over.

This basketball team is stacked. And with Warren putting up some of the best numbers over this trip...I'm at a semi-chub right now.

^Yeah I agree. I am a little leery of the football team seeing that TOB starts every season like shit and we've got UT to open the year. I think we'll have another bowl year, but not enough talent to win anything worth remembering. With Duke/UNC/the rest of the ACC still a little down in basketball, we have a chance to actually be a top 10 type team for once. It is hard as a State fan to not look ahead.

The stars will have to align perfectly for us to ever win an ACC championship and get to a BCS bowl under TOB. We are never consistently good.

So I assume Rodney is going to school with everyone else tomorrow?

I wasn't sure how that was working. He completed summer school classes but he isn't officially qualified for NCAA play? Does he have to pay for the courses he took if he is still found ineligible?

Is there a legitimate chance that he won't be able to play. Up until that tweet I just figured this was "one of those things" that works itself out. As in, the problem is correctable and he'll be good to go. Now I'm starting to worry. Could this really turn into a Lorenzo Brown situation of 3 years ago?

Adidas should do this. It just be us, Louisville, and Baylor tho.

According to the Wiki page, the following schools have Adidas sponsorships for basketball:

Baylor Bears
Cincinnati Bearcats
Indiana Hoosiers
Kansas Jayhawks
Louisville Cardinals
Michigan Wolverines
NC State Wolfpack
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Saint Mary's Gaels
Tennessee Volunteers
Texas A&M Aggies
UCLA Bruins
Wisconsin Badgers

There are a bunch of smaller schools too. You could make a decent tournament out of that.

what pisses me off is that he had to go through application process at NCSU...one would think a problem would have shown itself then...not now.
