page 46well was Lillth real or a hallucination because when they panned back to Nora she was staring at the place Lillth was but she wasn't really there. ]
7/23/2012 11:24:29 AM
Hallucination due to the really old blood that had likely fermented or been laced with something else. Hence why Godric said "You know this is wrong. But your sister doesn't." At least, that was my impression, because I wasn't happy with a Lillith incarnation anyways,
7/23/2012 11:26:35 AM
Not just hallucination wrong, but Godric was all about not eating humans in the end. That whole rehearsal dinner bloodbath was wrong.
7/23/2012 12:05:27 PM
the show has definitely taken a different turn in terms of acting and dialogue...almost seems like a parody of itself lately... i'll still watch though.they need a better storyline for next season
7/23/2012 4:08:23 PM
I think they can still redeem this storyline, they just need to clarify the direction this season is going to be going, and tie the vampires back into Bon Temps. Separating Sookie from the vampire storyline is a mistake.
7/23/2012 4:11:36 PM
what is the storyline? where is this all going?
7/23/2012 4:23:11 PM
Exactly...But seriously, I think it's supposed to all culminate in some sort of supe war vs. humans.
7/23/2012 4:26:33 PM
this shit is getting too stupid to follow
7/23/2012 8:46:34 PM
Supe v human war = hopefully a book 7 like event.Make it happen people!
7/23/2012 8:49:49 PM
Plot thought for Russell's "yay lilith!" switch. Stealing lilith's blood and giving it to his were followers might make some overhyped up weres on V.[Edited on July 23, 2012 at 10:16 PM. Reason : Piggy back ride!]
7/23/2012 9:57:33 PM
I think Russel's playing them all, I don't believe for second he's a religious convert. He looked as shocked as any of them when Lillith popped up.Hoyt used to be one of my favorite secondary characters but this storyline with him is getting tired out fast. After Jason shot Jessica for biting him I could have sworn for a second they were going to fuck right there in the foyer.
7/24/2012 7:08:02 AM
The only person I think has truly been almost a parody of a character, is Hoyte. Talk about a character that has taken some dramatic turns over the last couple of seasons. From good guy friend, to vampire lover, to living with a vampire, to single, to angry ex-best friend, to fang-banger, to hate group member.Dude is a bit needy, haha.
7/24/2012 7:59:38 AM
Only thing about the hallucination that I find weird is that they all saw the same thing. If it were a true hallucination they would be seeing something different or they all wouldn't be looking in the same area.
7/24/2012 9:02:44 AM
Probably was a spell, not a typical psychotropic hallucination. And Godric (wtf, is the true death not really true, why does he get to fly around as a ghost?) broke it.[Edited on July 24, 2012 at 9:48 AM. Reason : .]

So Tara was much less annoying this ep. Maybe because she spent it mostly quiet and mostly naked
7/24/2012 4:19:38 PM
Lilith had quite an impressive bush on her.
7/25/2012 7:36:14 AM
This is now the worst fucking show on TV.
7/25/2012 9:26:57 AM
I've enjoyed this season, so far, more than last season.
7/25/2012 9:32:08 AM
Alcide's wolfish sex is certainly interesting.
7/29/2012 9:27:15 PM
Good recovery from last week. I like that sookie ended up channeling the vampire. Also like how the side stories that I really didn't care much about are finally coming together and pretty nicely IMO. Also love that Newlin and Russell are all chummy and flirty Tidbit...Stephen Moyer directed this episode. First time behind the camera.
7/29/2012 10:12:23 PM
Tara arc still sucks.Sam/Luna story sucks. Now they are bringing Hoyt/Jessica down with them.Laffyette arc sucks.Terry's arc sucks.Alcide's wolf pack arc is comically lame.Eric's sister is annoying as shit. So is Salome.Does Bill have something up his sleeve or is he really 'evolving' against mainstreaming?I'm not buying Russell as a born again Lilith lover.Sookie's new info about the vampire Warlow seems interesting though...[Edited on July 30, 2012 at 7:45 AM. if anybody watching this show actually thinks Russell Edgington is in any way a born again Lilith lover then I have a shit load of ocean front property in Missouri I'll sell you for REAL cheap...i ♥ Steve Newlin and why are all weres white trash?[Edited on July 30, 2012 at 7:32 PM. Reason : adf]
7/30/2012 7:31:16 PM
i thought that was the least interesting episode of the season and quite possibly series.
7/30/2012 11:04:37 PM
when sam's girlfriend (as sam) smelled a "very large woman with cheetos", i immediately thought of hoyt's mom... is hoty's mom a shifter and she was actually pretending to be hoyt? Or had she been there earlier? I'm confused at what they were getting atalso, wonder who picked him up with the gun
7/30/2012 11:29:56 PM
I think Hoty's mom wants Jessica dead, and contacted the Obama dudes or is involved with them somehow.
7/30/2012 11:40:56 PM
I too think hoyt's mom is Cheetos lady they smelledperson that picked up Hoyt could be Patrick fleeing town, but it's probably a new character bc this series loooooooves having lots of characters[Edited on July 31, 2012 at 7:43 PM. Reason : ]

A little surprised by the full frontal male nudity.

I always hated Bill.
8/5/2012 10:05:48 PM
lol at naked Sam fighting all those dudes. I'd think he would just turn into a tiger or a gorilla or something. Being in human form against like four guys armed with sickles seems dangerous. I know it's probably just for production value though.
8/6/2012 12:03:35 AM
haha yeah that was goofy as hell.
8/6/2012 10:29:28 AM
I was happy they tied this back into the Sweetie storyline, but sad that Bud Dearborn had to go. Little frustrated with the Bill/Eric plot right now. The show isn't nearly as good when they are separated from Sookie. And what's up with the new Sheriff? I'm not a fan of that plot twist. Three more episodes to wrap up this season, and each one becoming less predictable really.
8/6/2012 10:29:49 AM
Agreed on Sweetie & Bud. I'm glad the Terry/Ifrit story is done, and all of the other plots going on finally coming together/overlapping. With the exception of season 1, that's how True Blood has rolled...unfortunately it can be really frustrating while we get there if some of the side plots suck **see spoiler below if so inclined**.I'm also really glad Lafayette (seems to) no longer turn in to a demon and is just his fabulous self with the added medium element. He had some great lines last night. Also some great Pam lines, but I think my favorite was from Tara--"Suck me Vampire Barbie."A new Sheriff is just setting things up for conflict next season I imagine.**SPOILER**I haven't watched the previews for next episodes for quite some time, but I did last night. Russell's not giving up on the faerie legend of being able to day walk with enough blood (and we saw last season how long it could last if a vampire drinks full fae blood), so Sookie will be coming back in to the vampire picture w/ Bill & Eric very shortly (I wonder what fae blood + lilith blood would do to the vampires. most excellent trip ever?)...plus I'm sure Sam & Luna will recruit her (and prolly Martha, Alcide & Ricki) to help get Emma back. Between Russell, Warlow and more faeries hanging out on Earth we've got a good setup for a finale and next season. **end spoiler**[Edited on August 6, 2012 at 10:51 AM. Reason : ]

Or maybe the blood in the vial that is the "Lillith" blood is just very old fae blood, and that's what made them so intoxicated.
8/6/2012 10:51:26 AM
ya know i thought about that last night, or something foreign added to it, when Nora said to Eric that Salome took her in there during the day to drink the blood. She might have added something else to it to cause the trip.
8/6/2012 10:55:00 AM
Oh I definitely think Salome has laced the blood with something in order to get them to further her cause. She wants power and is using the blood/Lilith to get it, she's definitely not a true believer.

There's a new "Sheriff of Area 5". His name is Elijah. And as a point of contention, Fangtasia belongs to Pam, not the Sheriff of Area 5. He can't just come in and take over her property like that. [Edited on August 6, 2012 at 3:53 PM. Reason : ]

am i the only one that raised an eyebrow when Bill saw lillith after biting Salome and drinking her blood?I'm wondering if the blood in the vile is Salome's blood. Or if she's just been drinking it a lot so whatever is in the blood is in her system. Or, she's been taking whatever she put into the blood she gave them. Either way, whatever caused them to trip off the blood in the vile caused the same thing to happen to Bill when he drank Salome's blood.
8/6/2012 6:39:26 PM
Hmmm...interesting point. But did he bite Salome before or after he saw salome as sookie? I would think the hallucinations may have been related, and I think he bit her after he saw her as sookie. I may have missed a bite though.
8/6/2012 7:36:26 PM
he bit her after he saw sookie. My initial take was this... damn, this dude is still obsessed with sookie (they were talking about her earlier to be fair). He goes to bite her (sookie) as he often did, then he started to hallucinate. I don't think the hallucination were related. I think one was him wishing/fantasizing he was with sookie. They do that a lot in the show. The other was a legit hallucination. At one point he put his fingers to his teeth (her blood) and had a questioning look. I think it was sort of a red herring that he got the blood as Eric wanted him to, but I didn't see it like that at all. It was him thinking about how drinking her blood made him see Lillith just as when they drank the blood from the vile. I think if you watch the scene again with that in mind, it's pretty clear that he's making that connection in his mind. At least I thought so.[Edited on August 6, 2012 at 10:14 PM. Reason : .]

its pretty clear Bill (or someone Bill knows) killed Sookie's parents. Doesn't it go back to conversations seasons ago with the Queen and Bill and him having watched her for a very long time...I haven't read the books so I hope it's not something as simple as that...
8/6/2012 10:46:01 PM
^^i just rewatched, and I agree with that entirely but with one thing to add. It seemed that sookie's foot goes lifeless in the hallucination implying the bite was not just a drain but a kill, then he looks up and sees her as Lilith. ^the show has completely deviated from the books (with only a small possibility for one plot staying the course) with this season including the death of sookie's parents.
8/6/2012 11:05:14 PM
^I agree with both of your points. But regardless of the book plot, I don't think Bill had anything to do with Sookie's parents death.

8/7/2012 8:19:29 AM
But he didnt say fangtasia was his now...all he did was be in fangtasia, sit on Eric's throne, say he's the new sheriff and vampires could drink from humans in public--which he does have control over. It's not like he went to the safe and took the money (yet).

Who are we kidding though? Vampires have vigilante justice anyways. Take over a new area, kill all the previous vampires or subjugate them.
