I started the season 0-3 but have since then won 8 in a row.Any idea on DeShaun Foster's injury? When I drafted DeAngelo I was banking on Foster getting hurt a little earlier in the season than this but this might be my break...Who should I start this week?RB (start 2)Willie @ Baltimore ?T. Jones @ NE ?DeAngelo @ WASHA-Train vs JAXMcGahee vs JAXQB (start 1)Brees @ ATL Eli @ TEN ?Vince vs NYG
11/21/2006 12:15:40 PM
^McGahee is out for at least a couple more weeks
11/21/2006 12:17:31 PM
Parker and ugh...I don't really know about the other one. I'm going to say Williams, but man, that's a tough one.Start Brees. I mean, he did have 510 yds last week.
11/21/2006 12:22:01 PM
Figured. I got him off the wire just in case he might could help me in the playoffs.
11/21/2006 12:22:03 PM
Allright guys, to help with the playoff push, I will post some insider information. Here is your week 12 positional rankings.Running Backs1 LaDainian Tomlinson - SD Raiders L.T. has more rushing yards against the Raiders than any other team in his career. Oh, and Oakland has allowed running back scores in 22 straight AFC West games. Enjoy. 2 Larry Johnson - KC Broncos Anything L.T. can do, L.J. can do better? Johnson's last two games against Denver added up to 291 rushing yards and four touchdowns, so we're saying there's a chance. 3 Rudi Johnson - CIN at Browns Rudi has treated the Browns like Tony Siragusa treats a Thanksgiving Day spread, with four straight hundos and six scores in that span. 4 Frank Gore - SF at Rams What happens when you get a guy averaging eight yards per carry with 371 yards in his last two games against a defense that's already given up seven 100-yard rushers this season? We're about to find out. 5 Brian Westbrook - PHI at Colts Indy's abysmal run defense combined with either Jeff Garthia or A.J. Feeley at quarterback equals lots and lots of touches for Westbrook. 6 Deuce McAllister - NO at Falcons Deuce has topped the century mark in three straight against the Falcons, and Atlanta has surrendered eight running back scores over the past six games. 7 Chester Taylor - MIN Cardinals The Vikings have absolutely nothing else going offensively, and it's not as if the Cardinals are particularly stout defensively. 8 Ronnie Brown - MIA at Lions Two freaking yards? Sure, it was the top-rated run defense in the league, but still... two freaking yards? The Lions, we presume, will be a much softer mark. 9 Tiki Barber - NYG at Titans It looks like that thumb injury is preventing him from catching the ball cleanly, which takes a big bite out of his value. That said, the Titans have been extremely accommodating to backs this season. 10 Joseph Addai - IND Eagles Maybe now that they've no longer perfect the Colts will realize they need to give fewer touches to Dominic Rhodes and more to Joseph Addai. 11 Shaun Alexander - SEA Packers Alexander got his feet wet last week, but now he needs to start playing like the Shaun we know and love; this 2.7 yards per carry crap ain't gonna cut it. 12 Ahman Green - GB at Seahawks The Seahawks are giving up more than 150 rushing yards per game over their last five tilts, and if Brett Favre's arm is still numb this game will ride on Ahman's legs. 13 Steven Jackson - STL 49ers Jackson really misses Orlando Pace, but he should still become the eighth back to record 100 combo yards against the Niners this season. 14 Marion Barber - DAL Buccaneers All he's done since week two is average nine carries and 44 yards per game. Oh yeah, and a touchdown per game as well; almost forgot that part. 15 Wali Lundy - HOU at Jets Such a soft matchup, but Shanahan Junior is splitting carries; last week Lundy had his fewest touches since returning to the lineup. 16 Willie Parker - PIT at Ravens He still hasn't done much on the road, but we're not going to quibble with two touchdowns. Baltimore's defense, on the other hand, may quibble quite a bit with Fast Willie. 17 Jamal Lewis - BAL Steelers No doubt Jamal has been rolling since Brian Billick took over play-calling duties, but Lewis has averaged less than 60 yards per contest in 10 career outings against the Steelers. 18 Thomas Jones - CHI at Patriots The good news is, Jones has reached triple digits in four of his last six; the bad news is, New England's second-ranked run defense won't make duplicating that effort easy for him. 19 Fred Taylor - JAC at Bills Getting enough carries to be productive, and looking fast and fresh while doing so, but not enough touches to be explosive. 20 Mike Bell - DEN at Chiefs Your best bet would be to put the names of all the Bronco running backs in a jar filled with salt and barbed wire, then pick out your starter. Enjoy! 21 Travis Henry - TEN Giants How can you argue with back-to-back 100-yard efforts against a couple defenses he had no right reaching triple-digits against? 22 Maurice Jones-Drew - JAC at Bills Taylor still sees the bulk of the workload, but when the dust settles MoJo seems to have as many if not more fantasy points. 23 Brandon Jacobs - NYG at Titans The Titans are allowing an average of one rushing touchdown per game, and odds are it will go to the big fella. 24 Reuben Droughns - CLE Bengals In theory, Droughns would be a good start against the Bengals, but we're still waiting to see if he'll return to action this week. Keep an eye on Jason Wright in the interim. 25 DeShaun Foster - CAR at Redskins Word is that Foster could have returned from his elbow injury last week; instead, he let DeAngelo Williams look good and work his way into a job share. Way to go, DeShaun. 26 Kevin Jones - DET Dolphins Haven't seen him since he was carted off with an ankle injury, and he's not exactly known for gutting it out and playing through pain. Keep Arlen Harris on speed dial just in case. 27 Ladell Betts - WAS Panthers It's one thing to have Clinton Portis' job; it's another thing altogether to have his skills. Betts doesn't, and this matchup against Carolina will do little to hide that fact. 28 Leon Washington - NYJ Texans Leon hasn't done much since week eight, but the Texans have struggled against pass-catching backs and that's right in Washington's wheelhouse. 29 Warrick Dunn - ATL Saints The Saints have held all but one running back scoreless over their last seven games, and Dunn hasn't exactly been trending upward of late. 30 Anthony Thomas - BUF Jaguars The Jags completely shut down Tiki Barber last week and have been squeezing opposing runners all year, so we're not overly optimistic. 31 Julius Jones - DAL Buccaneers When you're not scoring (one touchdown in his last seven games) and you're a yardage back who hasn't reached triple digits since week six... well, that's not good. 32 Reggie Bush - NO at Falcons We'll see if he can top the 72 combo yards he posted on the Falcons back in week three. We certainly hope so. 33 Tatum Bell - DEN at Chiefs Maybe Shanny held Tatum out so he'd be ready for Turkey Day. Maybe Tatum's done for the year. Maybe you should just look elsewhere for fantasy help. 34 Laurence Maroney - NE Bears Just when we're ready to write him off he whips out triple-digit combo yardage. We're doubting he'll be as effective against the Bears. 35 Carnell Williams - TB at Cowboys Even after last week's outburst he's still averaging 56 rushing yards per game over the past month. And the Cowboys are pretty stout, especially with a six-legged turkey at stake. 36 Edgerrin James - ARI at Vikings If the Vikings can hold Ronnie Brown to two yards on the road, what do you think they'll do to Edge in Metrodome? This one won't be pretty. 37 DeAngelo Williams - CAR at Redskins Looked pretty good in relief of the injured DeShaun Foster last week, but odds are that at best we'll get Double D's from the Panthers this weekend. Normally we wouldn't mind, but in this situation... 38 Corey Dillon - NE Bears Slow and steady may cut it against the Jets but it's not going to get him much in the way of fantasy production against Da Bears. 39 Sam Gado - HOU at Jets The Jets have allowed 14 backs to rush for at least 50 yards, and with Kubiak splitting the carries Gado makes a sneaky play this week. 40 Justin Fargas - OAK at Chargers Congratulations, Li'l Huggy, you get the start... against a defense that has allowed exactly one back to top 60 yards at their house this season.

No love for Willie Parker. Oh well, I'm still starting him.I'm kinda in a crap shoot with one of my teams. I have Dillon, Dunn, and Betts, so I think I'll have to hit the wire for someone. Also, should I get rid of Atlanta's D for Miami's?[Edited on November 21, 2006 at 12:34 PM. Reason : I know, lots of ?s]
11/21/2006 12:28:26 PM
I think I'm going to go with Willie and T. Jones. It's just too hard to sit either of them. ^I'd go with Miami defense over Atlanta. Especially this week since ATL has a hot Brees and Miami has the Lions. I have Miami and Denver defenses, I think I'll go with Miami this week since LJ should light up the Broncs.

I would definitely take a look at Henderson. With Colston possibly out and Brees on fire, you have to take a look at him.
11/21/2006 1:07:45 PM
Just picked him up. Starting him alongside Glenn and Steve Smith. Longshot to make Championship playoffs b/c I'm 4-7 in that league, but I'm going to try to get to .500 before the playoffs. Thanks.

Quarterbacks1 Carson Palmer - CIN at Browns Palmer has tossed multiple touchdown passes in four of his last five games. Just imagine what he could do if he threw to someone other than Ocho Cinco once in a while. 2 Drew Brees - NO at Falcons Brees should be dominant with or without Marques Coslton when he faces a Falcons defense that has given up an average of 292 passing yards in their last three games. 3 Peyton Manning - IND Eagles Peyton checks in with his lowest ranking of the season. It has nothing to do with the Colts losing last week. It’s all about the matchups, and the Eagles have a good pass defense. 4 Matt Hasselbeck - SEA Packers The Bald Bomber is expected to return this week just in time for a cushy matchup against a Packers pass defense that has surrendered 559 passing yards in their last two games. 5 Tony Romo - DAL Buccaneers He’s starting at home on Thanksgiving against the Buccaneers and is rumored to be dating Jessica Simpson. We can only assume he sold his a few weeks ago. 6 Jake Delhomme - CAR at Redskins Delhomme is a solid play against a Redskins defense that has ceded 200 passing yards in all but two games. Even Bruce Gradkowski threw two touchdown passes against Joe Gibbs’ defense. 7 Eli Manning - NYG at Titans After facing two tough defenses, Little Brother gets a soft matchup against the lowly Titans, who have allowed 18 passing scores in 10 games. 8 Marc Bulger - STL 49ers Bulger is coming off what was arguably the worst performance of his career. He should bounce back against the Niners, though he was held to only one score in the first meeting between these teams. 9 Michael Vick - ATL Saints Vick topped 200 passing yards in each of his last two home starts against the Saints. He also ran for two scores in those games. 10 Ben Roethlisberger - PIT at Ravens Big Ben has been tossing a lot of picks and he’s facing a Ravens squad that leads the league in interceptions. However, he’s also been racking up plenty of yards despite the fact that he seems to be colorblind. 11 Tom Brady - NE Bears Brady has his hands full this week when he faces a Bears defense that has allowed only seven passing scores all season. 12 Brett Favre - GB at Seahawks Was Brett really carted off the field for striking his funny bone last week? Only two defenses have surrendered more passing yards than the Seahawks, so Favre should fare well assuming he’s healthy. 13 Rex Grossman - CHI at Patriots Grossman wouldn’t be the first young quarterback to struggle against the Patriots, who have ceded only three passing scores in their last seven games. 14 Matt Leinart - ARI at Vikings Leinart could be a sneaky start against a Vikings defense that has struggled against pass-happy teams. 15 Jake Plummer - DEN at Chiefs Plummer’s best passing days have occurred on the road this season, and the Chiefs pass defense isn’t nearly as strong as it was early on. 16 Jon Kitna - DET Dolphins Jon’s job might be on the line this week, as he tossed only one touchdown pass over the last two weeks despite facing the 49ers and Cardinals. 17 Charlie Frye - CLE Bengals Five quarterbacks have passed for at least 235 yards against the Bengals over the last five weeks. Frye should make it six straight when he attempts to keep up with Cincy’s offense. 18 Chad Pennington - NYJ Texans Noodle Arm returns to the top 20 thanks to a matchup with the Texans, who had been solid against the pass before they let J.P. Losman and Lee Evans play like Joe Montana and Jerry Rice last week. 19 Steve McNair - BAL Steelers The Steelers pass defense has permitted eight passing scores in their last four games. In other words, we’re saying there’s a chance for McNair. 20 Philip Rivers - SD Raiders Rivers tossed a pair of touchdown passes against a tough Broncos defense last week, but the Raiders have been very good against the pass this season.
11/21/2006 1:54:19 PM
Wide Reciever1 Steve Smith - CAR at Redskins The Redskins rank 30th in the NFL agasint the pass (238 yards per game) and have allowed a league-worst (tied) 20 passing touchdowns. Um, yeah, could be a big day for Smith. 2 Chad Johnson - CIN at Browns After 450 yards and five touchdowns in the last two games, a respectable Browns defense might be able to hold Ocho Cinco to about 100 and two this week. 3 Darrell Jackson - SEA Packers He's scored in five of six games, now he might get Matt Hasselbeck back just in time to face the NFL's second-worst pass defense. 4 Reggie Wayne - IND Eagles The Eagles have a stout passing defense, but not nearly as tough as the Cowboys, and you saw what Reggie did to them. 5 Torry Holt - STL 49ers It's time to get back on track. Holt has reached 125 yards, scored, or both in his last four meetings with the Niners. 6 Marvin Harrison - IND Eagles In four games, the Eagles haven't allowed a wide receiver to score, nor have they let one top 50 yards against them. 7 Terrell Owens - DAL Buccaneers Against the dreaded Tampa-Who defense (11 touchdown passes in the last five games), T.O. should find new ways to embarrass himself after a touchdown this week. 8 Javon Walker - DEN at Chiefs All but one of his six receiving touchdowns (and his one rushing score) have come on the road, plus Javon went for 79 yards in just his second game post-ACL surgery against the Chiefs in week two. 9 Roy E Williams - DET Dolphins The Dolphins defense is getting better by the week, while Jon Kitna is getting worse. That doesn't sound like the best combo. 10 Donald Driver - GB at Seahawks The Seahawks defense is brutal, but the health of the Gunslinger is an obvious concern. 11 Hines Ward - PIT at Ravens The Ravens have been surprisingly kind to opposing wideouts this year, so don't automatically assume Ward won't get it done. 12 Braylon Edwards - CLE Bengals The Bengals defense is disgustingly bad right now, which means Edwards should keep putting up digits. He went for 110 yards versus the Kitties back in week two. 13 Muhsin Muhammad - CHI at Patriots Mushy drew the ire of fantasy owners by disappearing last week, but he'll get a chance for redemption against an injury-riddled Pats secondary. 14 Andre Johnson - HOU at Jets Andre hasn't topped 100 yards in four games or scored in three. The Jets at least offer some hope those trends can be bucked. 15 Larry Fitzgerald - ARI at Vikings The former Vikings ball boy should have fun exploiting a defense that ranks 28th in the NFL against the pass. 16 Joe Horn - NO at Falcons Joe Horn hasn't done too well against the Dirty Birds in recent matchups, but Joe Horn also didn't have Drew Brees throwing him passes then. Nor did the Falcons employ a clueless kick returner at cornerback. 17 Anquan Boldin - ARI at Vikings It's no longer a surprise; the only way to beat the Vikings defense is to throw. Assuming the line can keep Matt Leinart upright, there should be plenty of yards to be had. 18 Laveranues Coles - NYJ Texans If he can't do it this week against the Texans, stick a fork in him. Considering Lee Evans went for a million yards and 14 touchdowns on them last week, Coles should have a good day. 19 Plaxico Burress - NYG at Titans The Titans defense is pretty bad, but they've had Plaxico's number in the past; he has just one touchdown in six career games against them. 20 T.J. Houshmandzadeh - CIN at Browns Housh looked like he was out of it in week 11… perhaps he returned too soon from the concussion. With another week of rest under his belt, he's a decent play against a team he scored on last time he faced them (week 14 of last year). 21 Mark Clayton - BAL Steelers The Steelers have allowed more than 130 yards to No. 1 receivers in three straight games. If the last three games are any indication, Clayton is the new No. 1 in Baltimore. 22 Lee Evans - BUF Jaguars In the final eight games of 2004 and 2005 combined (16 total), Evans scored 13 times. His three-score outburst last week could mean the second-half trend continues, but the Jags are light years ahead of the Texans on defense. 23 Deion Branch - SEA Packers The Packers have been particularly susceptible to secondary receivers. Behind Darrell Jackson, Branch fits that bill. 24 Devery Henderson - NO at Falcons No Marques Colston, no problem. Henderson has 280 yards and two touchdowns in the last two games in which he's caught a pass, plus the Falcons secondary is wounded and ripe for the picking. 25 Randy Moss - OAK at Chargers Apparently Randy didn't want to play last week, which is too bad since Aaron Brooks actually looked like a serviceable NFL quarterback. Perhaps he shows up against a mediocre Chargers secondary this week, or perhaps not. 26 Joey Galloway - TB at Cowboys Joey G. has three touchdowns in the last three games, but the Cowboys have yielded just two touchdowns to wide receivers in the last six games, and that includes a matchup against the Colts. 27 Keyshawn Johnson - CAR at Redskins He hasn't topped 60 yards in his last five games, but the Redskins shoddy secondary should be enough to break that trend. 28 Chris Chambers - MIA at Lions You'd like to think a matchup with the Lions is a good one, but C.C. hasn't topped 66 yards all season, had his every-other game TD streak snapped last week, and Harrington sucks on Turkey Day. 29 Donte Stallworth - PHI at Colts The Colts haven't allowed a 100-yard receiver this year and Jeff Garcia is now throwing the passes. Enough said. 30 Derrick Mason - BAL Steelers The Steelers have been susceptible to opposing wideouts recently, but Mason's role as Baltimore's No. 1 appears to have been usurped by Mark Clayton. 31 Chris Henry - CIN at Browns Henry grabbed five receptions for 113 yards against the Browns in week two. That sounds good, we'll have that. 32 Greg Jennings - GB at Seahawks If not for the fact that he hasn't done crap since week five, we'd be all over this guy in a cake matchup with the Seahawks. 33 Terry Glenn - DAL Buccaneers Glenn unexpectedly returned to action last week, and Romo now appears to be spreading the ball around a bit more. 34 Jerricho Cotchery - NYJ Texans Assuming the Texans opt to use Dunta Robinson to cover Lav Coles this week, Cotchery could shake loose for a long touchdown against an otherwise vulnerable Texans secondary. 35 Drew Bennett - TEN Giants In case you hadn't notice, Vince Young isn't exactly lighting up the scoreboard. In fact, Bennett's 115-yard outburst in week 10 represents the only time a receiver has topped 60 yards in Uncle Rico's regime. 36 Michael Jenkins - ATL Saints The Saints defense has been simply awful in recent weeks and Jenkins has four touchdowns in the last five games. 37 Isaac Bruce - STL 49ers If you want about 75 or 80 yards this week, Bruce is your man. If not, join the thousands who are benching Bruce now-a-days. 38 Reche Caldwell - NE Bears He's probably worth adding to your roster considering he's reached at least 70 yards and scored in three of his last four, but he's not worthy of a start against the NFL's best pass defense this week. 39 Santana Moss - WAS Panthers Would you really count on this guy with a gimpy hammy and an inexperienced quarterback? 40 Reggie Brown - PHI at Colts If it's Brown, flush it down.
11/21/2006 1:55:08 PM
Tight End1 Kellen Winslow - CLE Bengals Winslow was disappointing last week but he should have a field day against a defense that has allowed seven tight end scores already this season. 2 Antonio Gates - SD Raiders Gates has found the end zone five times in his last five against the Raiders and Tomlinson should leave some scraps for him this week. 3 Alge Crumpler - ATL Saints The Saints have a history of shutting Crumpler down (he hasn't scored in three straight against them), but this year's Saints have allowed four tight end scores in their last six. 4 Jeremy Shockey - NYG at Titans Shockey gets a cake matchup against a team that has ceded five tight end touchdowns over their last five games. 5 Chris Cooley - WAS Panthers This is the Cooley we were expecting when the season began. He's scored in four of his last five and Jason Campbell knows where he's at. 6 Todd Heap - BAL Steelers Heap struggles against the Steelers like Michael Richards struggles with diversity training. Todd has only one touchdown against them in nine career games. 7 Ben Watson - NE Bears Watson continues to be the most consistent receiving option at Tom Brady's disposal, but the Bears aren't kind to tight ends. 8 Jason Witten - DAL Buccaneers The Bucs had a breech in the hull last week when they allowed two tight end scores last week and Witten is one of Romo's favorite shipmates. Ahoy! 9 L.J. Smith - PHI at Colts Smith gets a stiff test against the Colts, who haven't given up more than 60 yards to a tight end this season. 10 Tony Gonzalez - KC Broncos The Broncos put Champ Bailey on Gonzo to shut him down and it usually works. If he plays through his shoulder injury, this is where he'd be ranked. 11 Randy McMichael - MIA at Lions Randy hasn't found paydirt once this season, but the Lions already allowed six tight ends to score. Something's gotta give! 12 Dallas Clark - IND Eagles Clark was targeted plenty of time by Peyton Manning last week and responded with a touchdown mixed in with a few drops. 13 Jerramy Stevens - SEA Packers The Packers have allowed only one tight end score in 2006 but it came last week. So we're saying there's a chance. 14 Heath Miller - PIT at Ravens Miller is still looking for his first game with over 35 yards since week one and the Ravens haven't allowed a tight end score since last season. 15 Desmond Clark - CHI at Patriots We're finding it difficult to muster up much excitment for a guy who has one measly catch in each of his last two games. 16 Owen Daniels - HOU at Jets Consistency isn't something Daniels excels at, but we're a little too far down this list to be getting picky, right? 17 Jermaine Wiggins - MIN Cardinals He's alive! He's alive! Wiggy is fresh off his best yardage day of the season, but it would be unwise to trust anyone in the Vikings passing game. 18 Randal Williams - OAK at Chargers Williams has eight catches and 102 yards over his last two games, which means he's infinitely more productive than Randy Moss has been. 19 David Martin - GB at Seahawks It looks like No. 4 will play this week, but Martin remains too inconsistent for you to trust him with a spot in your lineup. 20 Vernon Davis - SF at Rams Eric Johnson took all the love last week, but Davis now has a game under his belt and should be a bigger part of the offense.
11/21/2006 1:56:19 PM
Kicker1 Nate Kaeding - SD Raiders Kaeding has hit multiple field goals in three straight games against the Raiders, and the Chargers offense is cruising. 2 Shayne Graham - CIN at Browns Graham has piled up 10 field goals and 16 extra points during the last four contests against the Browns. 3 Adam Vinatieri - IND Eagles Given what happened to both the Colts and the Eagles in week 11, Indy will likely post a big number this Sunday night. 4 Jeff Wilkins - STL 49ers Forget last week’s donut. Wilkins owns multiple treys in four consecutive games against the 49ers. 5 Jason Elam - DEN at Chiefs Elam nailed three field goals in the previous meeting and has hit multiple triples in three straight against the Chiefs. 6 Joe Nedney - SF at Rams Good news: 11 field goal chances over the last three games. Bad news: Missed two chippies last Sunday. 7 Robbie Gould - CHI at Patriots Gould leads all kickers in field goals and points scored, but he has hit only one field goal in each of the last three road games. 8 Matt Stover - BAL Steelers We forgive Stove Top for missing last week. He has made three or more field goals in three of the past four meetings with the Steelers. 9 Josh Brown - SEA Packers Hasselbeck is likely coming back, the Packers give up a lot of points, and it’s a Monday night game. We see the ‘Hawks offense stepping up. 10 John Kasay - CAR at Redskins Kasay is averaging over eight points per road game, and the Redskins aren’t showing much heart on defense these days. 11 Phil Dawson - CLE Bengals Have you seen the Bengals defense recently? 12 David Akers - PHI at Colts The loss of McNabb means more drives stalling out in Akers’ range. He’s hit multiple treys in three straight. 13 John Carney - NO at Falcons The Saints have scored 21 or more points in six of the last seven games against the Falcons. 14 Mike Vanderjagt - DAL Buccaneers Vandy has received multiple field goal attempts in every Tony Romo start. Sadly, hitting them has been a major issue. 15 Ryan Longwell - MIN Cardinals A bad offense at home plus a bad defense on the road often equals a bunch of chances for the kicker. 16 Olindo Mare - MIA at Lions Sure, he’s arguably the shakiest leg in the league, but only Wilkins (26) has seen more field goal chances than Mare (24). 17 Jay Feely - NYG at Titans On paper, the Giants offense vs. the Titans defense certainly looks like a mismatch. Too bad we can’t trust Feely. 18 Jeff Reed - PIT at Ravens Yeah, he’s not very reliable, but Reed has hit two field goals in each of the last three Steelers-Ravens meetings. 19 Jason Hanson - DET Dolphins We had to sneak Hanson onto this list. He’ll be playing in his 16th straight Thanksgiving Day game. 20 Lawrence Tynes - KC Broncos The Chiefs have scored 31 and 45 points in the last two home games against the Broncos. Hooray.
11/21/2006 1:56:51 PM
Team Defense1 Baltimore Ravens - BAL Steelers This one is pretty simple; the Ravens lead the NFL with a plus-12 in the takeaway/giveaway department, and the Steelers rank last at a minus-9. 2 Chicago Bears - CHI at Patriots The Monsters of the Midway have allowed a total of 59 points in their five road games this season, including two shutouts. 3 Miami Dolphins - MIA at Lions In three games against NFC North opponents this season, the Dolphins have forced 10 turnovers and scored three defensive touchdowns. Gobble, gobble! 4 New England Patriots - NE Bears We're not saying, we're just saying that the Patriots have held their last two NFC North foes (the Vikings and Packers) without an offensive touchdown. 5 Jacksonville Jaguars - JAC at Bills For those of you who believe that JP Losman can string together two big games, we'd like to tell you a story about this jolly elf in a red suit and his flying reindeer. 6 Denver Broncos - DEN at Chiefs LaDainian Tomlinson single-handedly removed the Broncos from the points allowed lead. Next up is Larry Johnson, only his quarterback is much rustier. 7 Minnesota Vikings - MIN Cardinals The Vikings would like to welcome Denny Green back to the Metrodome with some stuffing of their run game and a side of shutting down their rookie QB. 8 San Diego Chargers - SD Raiders They may be all banged up defensively, but they do get to play the Raiders this week, meaning no LaMont Jordan, a disinterested Randy Moss, and Aaron Brooks at the helm. 9 Seattle Seahawks - SEA Packers Mike Holmgren's team ranks second in the NFL in sacks and he knows his old friend Brett Favre can ill-afford to withstand any more sacks right now. 10 Dallas Cowboys - DAL Buccaneers Any defense that can hang with the Colts offense should be able to take care of bid-ness with the Buccaneers. 11 Carolina Panthers - CAR at Redskins Jason Campbell, before you make your second start we'd like to take a moment and introduce you to Julius Peppers. 12 Arizona Cardinals - ARI at Vikings Yeah, we realize the Cardinals pretty much suck, but any team that gets to face the Vikings' woeful offense is worthy of fantasy consideration. 13 New York Giants - NYG at Titans Travis Henry's recent hot streak maybe about to end against a Giants defense that has been playing very well against the run. 14 Kansas City Chiefs - KC Broncos Happy Thanksgiving, Herm Edwards! It's your turn to make a turkey out of Jake Plummer and his musical chairs backfield. 15 Pittsburgh Steelers - PIT at Ravens Does anyone else get the feeling the Steelers aren't going to make a remarkable turnaround this year?
11/21/2006 1:57:28 PM
Rivers 20th? Come on now...
11/21/2006 1:58:03 PM
Man, I dont think you understand how bad the Raiders run defense is and how good thier pass D is.20th may be a bit low, but he will not go off this week.
11/21/2006 2:01:26 PM
in my opinion, Rivers should be about 8-10 on that list. The Chargers are going to light up the Raiders.
11/21/2006 2:09:46 PM
I agree with a vast majority of your advice on here, but I have some huge issues with those rankings.
11/21/2006 2:25:29 PM
^^Correction: L.T. is going to light up the Raiders.
11/21/2006 3:09:51 PM
^yup, the raiders pass defense is second in the league behind the bears...and 27th against the run[Edited on November 21, 2006 at 3:18 PM. Reason : n]
11/21/2006 3:17:28 PM
^^, ^thats why I believe Rivers is ranked where he is.Oakland has a very underrated secondary.
11/21/2006 3:18:42 PM
I want to say that I personally dislike Joey Harrington b/c he doesn't use his Pro Bowl receiver at all (Chris Chambers). That is all.

I agree with those you already have set in.Devery could go off, but both of those studs have favorable matchups.I also expect the Saints to run more this next week...they have to see that the last 3 weeks high scoring affairs' for them have all been losses.Plax and Housh.

^agreed...I'm still starting Brees over Romo though My league is TOUGH...I'm 6-5 with the 2nd most points in the league and have:D. BreesT. RomoL. JohnsonW. ParkerF. GoreA. ThomasT. HenryJ. JonesL. JordanP. BurressT. HoushmanzadehD. HendersonD. BennettR. McMichaelS. GrahamMiami DEFJ. TaylorS. PhillipsI have monster Running Backs and couldn't move any for a viable trade to improve my team...Leinart for Brees was my gem though.

^Does your league have flex positions? Just wondering b/c if you do, that's no excuse to be 6-5 unless you have WR/TE as the flex option. I'm just guessing that they have better weeks, and catch you at the right time.[Edited on November 21, 2006 at 4:10 PM. Reason : Crapshoot this year]
11/21/2006 4:09:38 PM
yeah we have wr/rb so i always start 3 rbs...95% of the time LJ, Willie, and Gore.i've lost 2 by less than 3 points and a couple weeks everybody flopped before I had brees...i was starting leinart or kurt warner before his fiasco

in a dilemma, I have the bears d, but they have'nt really got me that many points the last few weeks, and hopefully I'll get miami's d which has been playing greatshould I bench chi d?
11/22/2006 12:18:39 AM
Hmmm...I don't know. I mean CHI is playing @ NE, and the Pats get really up for those big games in Foxboro. However, MIA is playing DET, and the threat of a Jason Taylor pick six is very high with Kitna. I say start MIA if you can get them, but if not, stay with CHI at your own risk. Besides, what other DEF do you have?[Edited on November 22, 2006 at 10:21 AM. Reason : lol]

I had another D earlier, but after Chi's bye I had no need, they were kicking assI was able to get Miami, I think Ima start them
11/22/2006 1:49:22 PM

11/22/2006 2:34:46 PM
yeah, and I want to piss off the other people in my league more"He's got the Bears, but he's not even playing em, and he's got LT fuck that dude"

Cutler to start week 13, but Plummer starts for the last time this weekendThe Broncos are benching Jake Plummer, but the move won't come until after their upcoming game. NFL.com's Adam Schefter reported that rookie Jay Cutler will likely start when the Broncos host the Seahawks on December 3. Plummer will start this Thursday against the Chiefs. Will Mike Shanahan trust Cutler any more than he has Plummer? That's tough to predict, but it may be worth a gamble. The Broncos finish the season against the Cardinals, Bengals and 49ers, three bottom-tier pass defenses. We usually don't recommend betting on rookie quarterbacks, but Cutler is worth a look in deeper leagues and if your current backup passer is a dud. Not very likely that anyone was starting Plummer anyway throughout this season, but just an FYI.- The Guru

that doesnt need approval from the masses.jump on it man.I would veto that shit though, if I was in that league.especially if it were for money.
11/22/2006 7:59:17 PM
If you are in a keeper league, get Cutler, he is starting in 2 games
11/22/2006 9:09:40 PM
ok lets start with defenseWe have San Diego playing a terrible Oakland offense...or we have Jax playing another bad Buffalo team...im leaning towards SD with the sacks they may rack up, but Jax could pitch a shut out not to mention SD is pluggin in people like no other.WR(2 spots)right now I have Coles and Plax starting, tryin to decide if i wanna go with Galloway. stallworth or a hobbling Santana over either...Galloway and Stallworth both have potentialRB(2 spots)terrible last week, but this week I have Rudi and Jones-Drew set to start. Addai didnt do shit for me last week he is avaliable(I also start Peyton) but I can chose from Jamal Lewis, Warrick Dunn, Edge(hell no) Duckett and DillonKickers I have Scoobe starting, could get Vandy Jet, Feely, Elam, Nedney, Longwell, Tynes, Dawson, Akers, Hanson, Mare or Reed. yea alot of potential.

i'd go with rudi and jamaljamal has been playing like his hair is on fire lately
