^ Ha ha I hope that is true. Can't believe his dad would really let him leave this soon.
3/23/2012 11:21:58 AM
Thats what I was thinking. If anyone should know that he's not ready, it would be his dad. And the usual money excuse doesn't make much sense either in this case.
3/23/2012 11:23:35 AM
Thats good, move Leslie's draft stock down more
3/23/2012 11:31:31 AM
I wonder if K just wouldn't let him come back. He'll still get drafted pretty highly, and he seemed to be horrible for Duke's team chemistry.
3/23/2012 11:33:22 AM
Duke has no one else, why not let him come back? That's just silly, ActionPaints.
3/23/2012 11:37:11 AM
Yeah Duke has no guards

He did kinda call out his whole team for having no heart after the Lehigh debacle.[Edited on March 23, 2012 at 12:56 PM. Reason : adfs]
3/23/2012 12:55:40 PM
I think this is a bad move by him. Loaded draft, and he'd certainly go higher if he at least stayed another year. Not like he needs the money either, and I thought his dad would tell him to stay longer. Wonder what is making him leave.
3/23/2012 1:34:29 PM
Bzdelik loses 2 more players to transfers...that's 8 players leaving since he was hired
3/23/2012 3:13:08 PM
i think its a great move for Rivers. Everyone knew he was one and done when he committed. If he played like he did this year again next season he'd probably fall out of the first round. He has to go pro now while people can base it on his potential instead of his actual results

im sure you meant strictly basketball but Randy Edsall is even worse. When he took over Maryland was in decent shape, at least Wake was starting from scratchIf K and Roy could just have some health problems and retire already we'd be set to do some serious damage in this conference. Esp if boeheim ever gets forced out for his sexual predatoring

Don't know if anyone watched...but the slam dunk contest last night was pretty sick. Plumlee had a weak dunk (really tall guys usually don't do well in these contests)...but everyone else was pretty solid. Complete opposite of recent NBA and the McDAA dunk contests where people miss a dozen times but still have a chance. Not too many gimmicks...just a lot of nasty dunk. Kid who won was 5'10" and could jump out of the gym.I recommend watching if you can find a replay somewhere.
3/30/2012 8:52:07 AM
yea that 5'10 guy was nasty
3/30/2012 8:59:09 AM
I remember when Cam was in that one. IIRC he did the lob-bounce-alley-oop off the side edge of the back board, which was coincidentally the same dunk that shabaz did in the MCDAA contest.
3/30/2012 9:20:29 AM
Some kid from Auburn did that last night, but he added 360-ish move to it (not quite...but close). Was a little more impressive. Jones from Miami also did a pretty good "behind the backboard" dunk that Cam also did.
3/30/2012 9:34:37 AM
Cam made that shit look good though.
3/30/2012 9:36:56 AM
Love Cam...but Jones crushed both of those dunks last night. Probably did them better. Was surprised...didn't remember him being that much of a freak athlete this past year.

by my count, 9 of our 13 losses were against teams that finished in the final top 25 (KU, Cuse, UNC x3, IU, Duke, FSU, Vandy).

And allowing a man to play on the woman's team.... that's not legal either.
4/9/2012 1:54:17 PM
who, griner? 6'8" and gets excited about being able to pull on the rim after a layup? that's a woman all the way.
4/9/2012 4:07:34 PM
Acie and Jones got so good by secretly practicing against Griner everyday.

Teague is 200% gone
4/17/2012 11:47:13 AM
I don't appreciate Ryan Harrowbut what should we expect out of him after sitting out a year at Kentucky? Will he be overlooked with their incoming class or will he be a key starter in their rotation? I'd like nothing more than to see him keep his head buried in his hands on the bench, but i'l curious.
4/24/2012 9:37:29 AM
o/u on uconn wins next season: .5
4/24/2012 9:43:07 AM
^^ He actually put himself in a good position because they have elite talent at every other position but PG, and they like to play small line ups, so I would say he starts and gets about 28-30 mpg.
4/24/2012 9:46:34 AM
I mean.. hes slated to start at the 1.... Soo that seems pretty key
4/24/2012 9:47:15 AM
Teague sucked for most of the year and they got away with itI think Cryan Harrow will be ok
