7/26/2010 6:02:20 PM
lol. its like I'm watching the world cup again
7/28/2010 9:01:26 PM
maradona got fired because he wouldn't fire his assistantsi say we get him to replace bradleyat very least it's good for two quotes a week
7/28/2010 10:00:53 PM
^and he could hire Argentinian gang members to handle team security at the next world cup, just like he did this timeor maybe even have Crips and Bloods handle security
7/28/2010 10:08:31 PM
oh we backfor a meaningless friendly
8/10/2010 7:49:31 PM
that was a fucking penalty[Edited on August 10, 2010 at 8:35 PM. Reason : pretty entertaining game so far.... Neymar is a crafty player, I can see why he is in demand]
8/10/2010 8:14:56 PM
Beautiful header from Neymarnice samba too
8/10/2010 8:40:39 PM
lol nice D...step up for no reason so that Pato can be wide open for a 1v1 with the keeper. wish our defenders would learn some tactics one day...
8/10/2010 9:00:11 PM
that was terrible. giving them brazilians waaaaaaay too much space.
8/10/2010 9:01:10 PM
Neymar is dirtyDonovan looks like the only US player trying
8/10/2010 9:03:01 PM
Only caught the last thirty seconds because I got back late/forgot the game was on.
8/10/2010 10:49:34 PM
2 words sums up the usa's performance: robbie findley
8/10/2010 10:53:29 PM
So the USA performed fast with no soccer specific skills?Gotchya.
8/10/2010 11:39:56 PM
Watch out for Brazil over the next 4 years. Some of the best players on that team tonight are under the age of 20, so they will be good to go for the U-20 World Cup, Olympics, and all senior level tournaments.
8/10/2010 11:40:59 PM
Bradley to Aston Villa?Sounds good to me.
8/10/2010 11:45:13 PM
Post-Dunga Brazil soccer will be fun to watch the next cycle. The beautiful game is back.Robinho and Neymar did pretty much what they wanted. I don't want to put a lot of stock in this for the US especially with no Dempsey, Holden, Cherundolo, others in different roles, etc. And let's be honest, we weren't going to score after Findley went in .
8/11/2010 12:35:30 AM
I don't know why Findley gets so much playing time
8/11/2010 1:00:42 AM
8/11/2010 1:05:11 AM
^I, too, had written off the most successful and well-known international team in history, who is also hosting the next World Cup in their countrythanks b4c

http://www.cbssports.com/soccer/story/13748689/ugly-truth-us-soccer-team-needs-american-coachi was reading this article today, this guy should never write about soccer again. it's long but worth a read[Edited on August 13, 2010 at 1:48 PM. Reason : s]
8/13/2010 1:44:44 PM
I haven't read that article yet, but Jurgen Klinsmann needs to get the nod from USSF. He made a good pitch after the Ghana loss in the WC postgame, and they were close to hiring him before Bradley.Plus, he's better than any domestic coach that they could hire currently.[Edited on August 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Reason : Wow, skimmed that article and that guy is a royal douche about it]
8/13/2010 1:57:04 PM
doyel is a douche about everything
8/13/2010 2:14:11 PM
doyel is about as close as they come to being a professional troll.
8/13/2010 2:27:49 PM
Close? He is a professional troll. Read his twitter feed.
8/13/2010 2:28:11 PM
no thanks. I try to give that douchenozzle as little attention as possible.[Edited on August 13, 2010 at 2:31 PM. Reason : whoooaa double posting all the way.. what does it mean?][Edited on August 13, 2010 at 2:31 PM. Reason : d]

8/28/2010 6:05:59 AM
false alarm, Bradley given an extension.fuck.
8/30/2010 6:40:45 PM
i guess its safe to say klinsmann said no thanks again..im kinda meh on this... bradley let me down with some of his decisions in world cup
8/30/2010 6:57:36 PM
so fucking short sighted
8/30/2010 7:15:00 PM
This is such lame news, we can't really hope to get much better under Bradley. If Klinsmann said no because of the MLS or something, that would be really unfortunate. I like Bradley, but I doubt our team will do much better than it has been.
8/30/2010 9:55:15 PM
8/31/2010 3:06:54 AM
8/31/2010 8:16:54 AM
^^i actually agree with that. i just want someone different from bradley though...
8/31/2010 8:19:52 AM
Goddamnit. The dude should be fired for starting Clark over Edu alone.
8/31/2010 8:36:59 AM
Oh well, I'm not a huge Klinsmann fan either but I'm not sure how scraping by in a weak group in a WC and losing in the 2nd round is good enough to keep your job for another FOUR years and another World Cup. WCQ isn't starting next week or anything. If he re-hired Bradley simply because there weren't any better option available right now, why not take another look at the market in two years to see if there's something better? And how exactly do we plan on getting better? It's going to be essentially the same core of players next cycle with Bob's same philosophy and his stupid ass 4-4-2 with 2 defensive midfielders.I'm really not as much of a Bradley hater as I seem... as I was really warming up to him (in spite of the Findley inclusion and his insistence on playing Clark). Maybe he'll learn and change his style, be more offensive, make the right lineup calls before we give up early goals... but let's just say I'm extremely skeptical.
8/31/2010 8:42:18 AM
8/31/2010 2:09:03 PM
Exactly, he shouldn't have been brought back because he'll do something like that (or exactly that) again.
8/31/2010 2:10:40 PM
I'll give bradley credit, he did a good job at making changes during games (something he was beyond horrible at before), but he was still making dumb moves before the matches (clark, findley, etc.). Maybe the next evolution of Bob Bradley will be making good moves only.
8/31/2010 2:31:42 PM
Hopefully he locks them in their hotel before games and takes the key, so his best players don't almost die in a car wreck. Davies would have been a huge difference maker up front.
8/31/2010 2:56:05 PM
^^ I keep hearing that, but I call bullshit. If not for making completely obvious-to-everyone fuckups, he wouldn't have even had the opportunity to make the "in-game changes" that everyone is giving him credit for. Durrr, I'm gonna start Findley and Clark every game despite them being ineffective so that when I replace them with players who don't suck ass at halftime, I will look like a fucking genius.
8/31/2010 3:16:01 PM
So they're scrapping the Hex and changing qualifying to 2 groups of 4 with the top in each group advancing and then a playoff for the 3rd spot by the two 2nd place finishers....I'm so pissed about this because it basically means Mexico and the US in different groups, which means no more Mexico WCQ games, which means no meaningful games against the best competition in the region and more importantly, no Azteca trip for me in 2013
8/31/2010 6:43:30 PM
8/31/2010 6:53:24 PM
^^we'll find someway to fuck up qualifying and have to win on the last game just to barely squeak in somehow still
