Well in all honesty.....with rolling the Catalina's and buying them in separate transactions I can see where you Make money this week. My sister's HT still allows overage. If you go overage the way I mentioned with the yellow stickers or super double a wine coupon, you can use it to cover tax. It won't let you go negative. The FL buy my house gave me 17 cents back after I bought groceries because I didn't realize I had overage. On a side note, I am going to get rain checks for the 50% Kellogg's so I can do this next week with the $1 off coupons. Where are they basically out? The 2 I went to today, were pretty well stocked.Plus, since their rain checks never expire, it will be nice to add to my rain check collection. I highly recommend collecting them. That way when you need something you still get a great deal. You can stack them with the current deal. Think those cereal bar coupons come around every so often and you will have a rain check so that they will be .27 multiple times =)I have 30 rain checks including.....two 5 pound bags of sugar for $3buy 2 get 3 baconbuy 2 get 3 fosters chickenbuy 2 get 3 pizza rolls (for the inlaws when they come)bogo Kemps frozen yogurt[Edited on August 6, 2010 at 8:47 PM. I know that some HT do still allow overages but not many doPlus Geniousboy was quoting the OP of this thread (almost 3 years ago), I was telling him what has changed since then.Good luck finding a HT that is out of stock of kellogg's cereal. Most HTs around here get their trucks in Friday night/early Saturday morning so they will probably be in stock for the rest of the sale. [Edited on August 7, 2010 at 9:04 AM. I wish my pop-tarts coupons would show up in the mail. Also, if they are out of stock of one variety you can get a raincheck for that variety. Learned this the last time when pop-tarts were BOGO. The boy will only eat 2 flavors and I can not have them.
8/7/2010 1:32:46 PM
Just did the Kellogg's deal for the $10 cat. Pop Tarts were sold out, which was alright considering they're not my favorite. Also, checked on some sales to see if they'll continue into doubles...No: Kellogg's (But get a raincheck like forkgirl!)Yes: Morningstar Farms products, Tyson's Any'tizers thingies, Eggos, and Silk PureAlmond milk
8/7/2010 6:58:57 PM
Okay, so I looked into the $10 CAT and it applies to Kellogg’s, Keebler, Sunshine, Eggo and/or Morningstar Farms. And it rolls though the 14th.Eggo and Morningstar have lots of coupons out and will stay on sale through SDs (11th).So it looks like we're about to get tons of free stuff this Wednesday morning...?This is crazy.
8/7/2010 7:53:25 PM
yay...I got a rain check for blueberry and mixed berry Cereal bars On that note, the Edwards Mill HT was pretty well stocked. Good luck on your Catalina's.....There are a few .75/1 Kellogg's coupons in tomorrows papers.

^great job....I was totally to lazy to work on that. I have had issues with Kroger in the past and haven't gotten back on the horse.I think I have more Kellogg's products in my pantry then HT does. The Cinnamon Corn flakes with today's coupon was .14 cents and the antioxidant fiber cereal was .34 cents. I did great rolling the Catalina and I racked up another 4 rain checks......I can't wait for Super Doubles. I spent the day culling my book and sorting coupons.

ahahahaha wow.anyway back to couponing deals, did anybody receive the $5 Schick Hydro razor coupon that was supposed to be in yesterday's paper? It was in the "coupon previews" last week but I didn't get it in my paper. I usually use thecouponclippers.com but they were already out of the $5 schick hydro coupon by last night. So I did a google search and found this: http://www.couponclippingcrew.com/They had the coupon available plus they sell tearpad and blinkie coupons. They have a pretty limited quantity available of all tearpad and blinkie coupons. Most that I looked at were sold out.

Super Doubles at Harris Teeter starting today thru Tuesday.I went to the Edwards Mill HT this morning. At 7am they were already out of the Kraft Homestyle Mac & Cheese (but I got a raincheck)I was able to get:6 Ziploc containers. On sale BOGO 2/$3.25. Used 3 $1.50/2 coupon from Sunday's paper. I went this morning and got $124 of stuff for $11 (I had two $10 off coupons). My pantries and fridge were already brimming, and now I'm entirely out of room. I've always enjoyed eating out and whatnot, but I have so much food to eat here at the crib that I don't think I can justify it for a while... What have I done?^I kinda needed dish liquid and ziploc containers, but I was too tired to clip those coupons, and I didn't think they'd actually be a good deal.
8/11/2010 10:26:36 AM
I'm taking my brother at lunch and going to get him some Ziploc containers and hopefully some mac & cheese.I have two $10 catalinas to use as well but I think I'll save those for this weekend.
8/11/2010 10:33:16 AM
^Yeah, it doesn't look like your total is coming close to ten dollars anyway. AHA! I threw in some BOGO Voila frozen meals (with no coupons) on a couple of my orders to get them up to $10.I had planned to do 6 morningstar/4 eggo to get another $10 OYNO, but it looked like they were just straight up out of Eggos.I can't believe Edwards Mill was already out of the mac/cheese, by the way! I went to the HT at Stonehenge at 7:30a...and all the couponers were passing it up...I was the lone tubby lady all stoked about free mac/cheese.
8/11/2010 12:33:53 PM
Stonehenge is where I'm planning on taking my brother this afternoon.By looking at hotcouponworld, savvydollar and weusecoupons, I was able to look at everybody's shopping trips from this morning and now I have a whole list of stuff that is free after coupons that I didn't know about before.New things that are free (new to me, anyway)Kraft Sandwich Shop Mayo. $1.99. Use $1/1 coupon (expires 8/15/10). Price might only bee good for the Hot & Spicy variety.LA Looks Hairgel. $1.95. Use $1/1 couponChipsahoy Heath cookies. BOGO. $1.82/1. Use $1/1 coupon from All You (last month or maybe the month before)Nakano Rice Vinegar. $2. I have a $1/1 homemailerRevlon Nail Clippers. Hmm I wonder if I should try the Western Blvd or Tryon Village HT first. I <3 Peter Pan PB, but most of the time HTs are wiped out of all the items I actually want during SDs or triples.
8/11/2010 3:42:25 PM
To get the $.97 price for Peter Pan peanut butter, you have to be signed up for HT's "E-VIC"http://www.harristeeter.com/promotions/e-vic/e-vic_benefits.aspxand you had to have been signed up for it prior to today. If you aren't signed up for it, Peter Pan is on sale 2/$3 for regular non-EVIC customers.. So with the $.60 coupon doubled, its only $.30[Edited on August 11, 2010 at 3:49 PM. Reason : g][Edited on August 11, 2010 at 3:50 PM. Reason : f]

^ Yes, thankfully I have been signed up for E-vic for a while now. My trip to Tryon village HT was a success, except for Ziploc bags since the 100 ct were sold out.I am quite frustrated with the N&O's "regional variation," as it seems both this time and the last time Schick Hydros were on special at the drugstores, we didn't get the coupon inserts. While the coupon clipping services are nice if you want to order a bunch of coupons, I feel like I don't save very much after paying for the shipping, cutting fee, and order fee; particularly if I don't get them in the mail in time for the deal.

Also, the MLK HT in Durham has an end cap of Peter Pan. If they do not have it in the store, get a raincheck. They do not check e-vic status when writing them and they never expire. So if this is your favorite thing in the world I would get like 4-5 rain checks and use them for the next year.Samantha, do you go to the one on Leesville at all?[Edited on August 11, 2010 at 9:07 PM. I never seem to get to CVS in time to get the SOBE when it's free like this before the stores are wiped out. You'd think they'd order more and put some on shelves somewhere instead of just in the refrigerated section. While I like them, I don't find them tasty enough to get to CVS @ 7am.

So at the teeter in north chapel hill you get a $20 credit on your vic card for each rx you fill. I had just gotten 2 from my doc. I am not used to spending money at the teeter, going to have to buy steak or something.I used them to buy giftcards before posting this in case someone has my phone # and tries to steal it. Not going to work. I now have $20 in giftcards, $20 in cats, and my pantry is already overflowing.
