Well in all honesty.....with rolling the Catalina's and buying them in separate transactions I can see where you Make money this week. My sister's HT still allows overage. If you go overage the way I mentioned with the yellow stickers or super double a wine coupon, you can use it to cover tax. It won't let you go negative. The FL buy my house gave me 17 cents back after I bought groceries because I didn't realize I had overage.

On a side note, I am going to get rain checks for the 50% Kellogg's so I can do this next week with the $1 off coupons. Where are they basically out? The 2 I went to today, were pretty well stocked.

Plus, since their rain checks never expire, it will be nice to add to my rain check collection. I highly recommend collecting them. That way when you need something you still get a great deal. You can stack them with the current deal. Think those cereal bar coupons come around every so often and you will have a rain check so that they will be .27 multiple times =)

I have 30 rain checks including.....

two 5 pound bags of sugar for $3
buy 2 get 3 bacon
buy 2 get 3 fosters chicken
buy 2 get 3 pizza rolls (for the inlaws when they come)

Plus Geniousboy was quoting the OP of this thread (almost 3 years ago), I was telling him what has changed since then.

Good luck finding a HT that is out of stock of kellogg's cereal. Most HTs around here get their trucks in Friday night/early Saturday morning so they will probably be in stock for the rest of the sale.

Also, if they are out of stock of one variety you can get a raincheck for that variety. Learned this the last time when pop-tarts were BOGO. The boy will only eat 2 flavors and I can not have them.

Eggo and Morningstar have lots of coupons out and will stay on sale through SDs (11th).

^great job....I was totally to lazy to work on that. I have had issues with Kroger in the past and haven't gotten back on the horse.

I think I have more Kellogg's products in my pantry then HT does. The Cinnamon Corn flakes with today's coupon was .14 cents and the antioxidant fiber cereal was .34 cents. I did great rolling the Catalina and I racked up another 4 rain checks......

I can't wait for Super Doubles. I spent the day culling my book and sorting coupons.

It was in the "coupon previews" last week but I didn't get it in my paper. Super Doubles at Harris Teeter starting today thru Tuesday.

I went to the Edwards Mill HT this morning. At 7am they were already out of the Kraft Homestyle Mac & Cheese (but I got a raincheck)

I was able to get:
6 Ziploc containers. On sale BOGO 2/$3.25. Used 3 $1.50/2 coupon from Sunday's paper. Paid $.75 for 6.
3 Peter Pan Peanut Butters. Was a E-VIC special for $.97. Limit 3. Used the $.60/1 coupon. Actually got $.23 overage on each of these b/c they doubled the coupon to the full $1.20 off.
3 Stridex pads. On sale $1.99. Used $1/1 coupon (can't remember insert) and got them free
1 box Triscuit Thin Crisps. On sale $2.50. Used $1/1 coupon that I got from a tearpad at Target. $.50
3 7th Generation Dish Liquids. On sale $1.99. Used $1/1 coupon from Sunday's paper and got these free.

before VIC sale & coupons: $53.10
VIC savings: $26.00
Before coupons= $27.10
AC: $.56

I didn't even realize that I got overage on the peanut butter until I thought about it in the car. I was like "what a minute, the Ziploc containers by themselves should have cost me $.75 and the triscuits should have been $.50. how come it was only $.56?"

I went this morning and got $124 of stuff for $11 (I had two $10 off coupons).

My pantries and fridge were already brimming, and now I'm entirely out of room. I've always enjoyed eating out and whatnot, but I have so much food to eat here at the crib that I don't think I can justify it for a while... What have I done?

My trip to Tryon village HT was a success, except for Ziploc bags since the 100 ct were sold out.

I am quite frustrated with the N&O's "regional variation," as it seems both this time and the last time Schick Hydros were on special at the drugstores, we didn't get the coupon inserts. While the coupon clipping services are nice if you want to order a bunch of coupons, I feel like I don't save very much after paying for the shipping, cutting fee, and order fee; particularly if I don't get them in the mail in time for the deal.

Also, the MLK HT in Durham has an end cap of Peter Pan. If they do not have it in the store, get a raincheck. They do not check e-vic status when writing them and they never expire. So if this is your favorite thing in the world I would get like 4-5 rain checks and use them for the next year.

So at the teeter in north chapel hill you get a $20 credit on your vic card for each rx you fill. I had just gotten 2 from my doc. I am not used to spending money at the teeter, going to have to buy steak or something.

I used them to buy giftcards before posting this in case someone has my phone # and tries to steal it. Not going to work. I now have $20 in giftcards, $20 in cats, and my pantry is already overflowing.

If there's anything you need to stock up on, might be worth it to put together an order...or if you are missing any inserts you can buy them for cheap.
