He could be a number of tww posters from the 2000s. Imagine if Salisburyboy were governor
9/19/2024 3:50:08 PM
None of that is surprising. It all tracks. That's our Lt Governor!!Dude was posting as himself on a porn-website's chit-chat.WHAT A WEIRDO
9/19/2024 3:58:32 PM
The story and several of the comments have already been posted to the middle of The Drudge Report.

That commenter is so erudite!
9/19/2024 5:33:41 PM
^^^ Yep. Nothing he has said is our of line for him, and much of it would be part for the closer for some folks on this site, a la salisburyboy. It also reads as some of the more humorous exaggerations that EMCE would post. But I doubt this stuff is mete exaggerating for Robinson
9/19/2024 6:17:41 PM
there is a 0.0% chance that he didn’t mean every single word that he posted
9/19/2024 8:00:37 PM
That number is awful high, don't you think?
9/19/2024 8:10:44 PM
I don’t, no
9/19/2024 8:21:29 PM
Well, I guess we can color in NC as dark blue now, huh.
9/19/2024 9:39:01 PM
The guy legitimately hates Jews I think, which might be the biggest deal breaker for the gop. But I think we’re at the point where republicans don’t otherwise view being a Nazi as a dealbreaker. Other than that He has a lot of debauch sex or sex fantasies, including of his wife’s sister, he likes transgender porn, he seems to understand how white people weaponize racism (which is a lil ironic since he’s a Nazi), hates Martin Luther king jr. (which will probably make some people like him more). The Ashley madison and adult friend finder accounts imply he’s been cheating a lot— does his wife know? His fake Christian piety is not dissimilar from trump, I’m not sure if republicans care if he keeps using Christian language for his campaign, he’ll probably try to say he’s reformed or somethingBut the Nazi comment alone should make his staff resign if they want any jobs in the future that’s not working for pond scum.
9/19/2024 11:16:04 PM
My feelings about this dude kind of echo my feelings on trump...how do people support him
9/19/2024 11:24:17 PM
Dude is absolute moron. Which we’ve known for a while. This latest news all feels very par for the course for him. Not remotely surprising at all. His comments and opinions all along should be disqualifying. But the level of stupidity it takes to use your real name and email address for these websites is a level of stupidity that is just mind boggling. Make up a name! Make up a separate email address for your freaky online shit. He is a complete bumbling idiot. I too cannot fathom how anybody would support him.
9/20/2024 8:15:47 AM
Because he's a man of God, and you are all demons trying to tear down a good man with made up lies from an AI time machine. I will pray for you.
9/20/2024 8:22:14 AM
9/20/2024 8:51:04 AM
The comments I've seen on social media by his supporters / republicans are basically "but where is the proof?" and "I have seen images of Kamala that we found out were AI-generated, how do we know this Mark Robinson story is real?!?!?"[Edited on September 20, 2024 at 11:43 AM. Reason : and of course "you can't trust anything from CNN"]
9/20/2024 11:43:03 AM
His camp has ack’d that his email address on Ashley Madison was one of his actual email addresses, but then goes on to say that this particular email address has been a part of several data breaches.
9/20/2024 12:03:27 PM
^^ at those fools. You can go to the websites in question and view the posts... CNN has given more than enough info to find them. Then again, it's not like these are particularly sophisticated people, so the concept of "taking a screenshot of something to put it in a news article" might be beyond them...^ Which is dumb. Just because it's been exposed, doesn't explain why it was used on sites 10 years ago, when this fool had never been heard of.
9/20/2024 12:14:31 PM
Also, hacked emails don’t show up on cheating sites - they show up in other peoples’ inboxes in phishing attempts.
9/20/2024 1:22:49 PM
Posted in the Chit Chat thread but he rejected offers of IT forensic specialists to help uncover the "hacking" or legal help to go after CNN. Seems his lack of fight in this was seen as an admission of guilt.https://www.wral.com/story/robinson-rejected-offers-of-tech-help-to-investigate-posts-on-porn-site-sources-say/21638904/

Not sure if this is a rare +1 for debunking or -99999 for nurturing an environment that could allow folks to believe these things in the first place
10/9/2024 7:54:46 AM
I can’t believe that people are having to actually debunk the engineered storm theory.
10/9/2024 9:18:48 AM
I can't believe they had to get an official confirmation from a director at NOAA that to date, no one has the technology required to geoengineer (and steer) hurricanes.

https://www.threads.net/@amandalitm/post/DCBOLNKA4aq?xmt=AQGzl98IdQZsaDvxGalMnrPaUk8MnmbOCej49ITuXfX6FgThey are losing their supermajority. Democrats flipped a state seat. Governor actually had some power again.
11/6/2024 10:31:27 AM
I guess that counts as progress, meager as it is. Tricia Cotham's busted face managed to win reelection as a Republican in a newly gerrymandered district.
11/6/2024 6:06:53 PM
Fuck that bitch. Also extremely happy as the spouse of a teacher and father of kids that Morris lost superintendent, that one was too close for comfort.
11/6/2024 6:42:17 PM
I still don't know how the Dems won Governor, Lt Governor, Attorney General, NC Superintendent, etc but lost the Presidency again.I get that Mark Robinson is a different story, but the overall trend is confusing. Is it just a bunch of MAGAs who vote for President and leave the rest of the ballot blank?]
11/6/2024 6:43:26 PM
That should be easy enough to add up by vote totals.
11/6/2024 7:31:19 PM
^^The republican Governor and NC Superintendent candidates were uniquely awful. You already went over Mark Robinson, but Michelle Morrow was also pretty controversial (tweets about Obama and LGBT+, homeschooling her kids but wants to run the public education system, etc.) Jeff Jackson for AG is pretty popular due exclusively to his digital outreach (reddit/instagram/tiktok). I'm not surprised the split tickets liked him over Dan Bishop. The Lt Gov race? No clue. I feel like I'm more plugged into NC politics then your average split-ticket voter but to me this feels like your average R vs D.

https://www.wral.com/story/nc-republicans-to-use-helene-aid-bill-to-strip-power-away-from-incoming-democratic-governor-ag/21729412/One change would ban the attorney general from taking stances in court that don't align with the opinions of state legislative leaders. That would prevent the attorney general from arguing that any state laws are unconstitutional — something that has happened, though infrequently, in the past. Another major change would take away the governor’s power over elections starting in 2025, after Stein takes over for outgoing Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper.GOP leaders have spent most of the past decade trying to take the governor’s power over elections for themselves, but their efforts so far have been thwarted — by state courts, and by voters. The new proposal tries a different strategy: It would still take away the governor’s power but, instead of giving that power to the legislature, would give the power to a different executive branch official who’s a member of the Republican Party. If the new bill becomes law and survives an almost-certain lawsuit challenging its constitutionality, control over the State Board of Elections starting in 2025 would be taken away from Stein and given to new State Auditor Dave Boliek, a Republican.
